The research assesses the impact of a digital procurement (e-purjee) system for sugarcane growers in Bangladesh. The system itself is simple, transmitting purchase orders to local farmers via SMS text notification. It replaces a traditional paper-based system fraught with low reliability and delivery delays. Applying expected value theory, and using decision tree representations to depict growers' decision-making complexity in an information-asymmetric environment, we compute outcomes for the strategies and sub-strategies of ICT vs. traditional paper-based order management from the sugarcane growers' perspective. The study results show that the digital procurement system outperforms the paper-based system by tangibly reducing growers' economic losses. The digital system also appears to benefit growers non-monetarily, because of reduced uncertainty and a higher level of perceived fairness. Sugarcane growers appear to value the non-monetary benefits even higher than the economic advantages of the e-purjee system.

현재 우리 주변에 유비쿼터스를 이용한 갖가지 편리한 서비스들이 다양하고 폭넓게 제공되고 있으며 또한 이러한 서비스들이 생활 곳곳에 전반적으로 생겨나고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템은 컴퓨터나 스마트 폰 등모바일 플랫폼을 이용해서 사용자가 이용하고자 하는 음식점에 어느 정도의 손님이 있는지 파악해 주고 더 나아가 앉아 있는 시간을 계산하여 언제 식사를 마칠지도 계산해 혼잡한 시간을 피해 시간을 절약하는 효과적인 서비스이다.

사회재난을 예방하고 재난 상황에서 위기 대처를 신속하게 수행하기 위해서는 재난 상황을 신속하게 인지하는 것이 중요하다. 재난 상황의 신속한 인지를 위해서는 현장에 설치된 각종 센서로부터 상황 정보를 사물인터넷을 통해서 빠르게 수집하고 중요 이벤트 발생을 인식하는 것이 중요하다. 이를 위해서 수위 센서 데이터의 효율적인 수집과 데이터 전송을 위한 사물인터넷 기반 사회재난 상황 알림 시스템을 설계하고 평가한다.

This research want to discuss some issues about payment system of America. This research focuses on comparing ACH with Fedwire. Firstly Fedwire is the payment system for only large-dollar transfer(Large-Value Transfer System; LVTS), while ACH(Automated Clearing House)payment mainly applies a consumer account. Secondly ACH transaction is either credit or debit transfer, while Fedwire is only credit transfer. Thirdly the communication system of Fedwire has twoway method, telephonelike communication network, but ACH is oneway store and forward electronic mail. At present LVTS divides into RTGS(Real-Time Gross Settlement) and DNS(Deferred Net Settlement). However Fedwire uses either RTGS(instantaneous for every transaction) or DNS(net net transaction) but ACH uses only DNS(net net transaction). Fourthly ACH is substantially cheaper than the Fedwire payment. lastly security is important in both Fedwire and ACH, it is even more crucial in Fedwire In addition, for each transaction, Fedwire may entail individual instantaneous confirmation to the originator and notification to the receiver, whereas ACH do not.

The trend toward ubiquitous computing does not represent simply a change in the way people access and use information. In the end it will have a profound effect on the way people work with each other. In this paper, we have defined functionalities of an information system that helps operate a kind of smart office environment, and implemented the system using RFID technology. The system provides three major functions-time and attendance management, personalized message notification, and flexible seat allocation for a smart working center. We have also suggested the key performance indicators and performed a KPI analysis to measure an efficiency of implemented system.
