  • Value collision takes place in the news organization at times. The concept of social responsibility has been serving as the raison d'$\hat{e}$tre not just of individual reporters but eventually of journalism in general. But when the organizational interests are at stake, more realistic values contributing to the organization often override the normative values. This phenomenon occurs since there exists a clear discrepancy between the nominally highlighted values and the virtual values of press owner or news organization. Focusing on Chosun Ilbo, this paper tries to identify the values a news organization really underlines and pursues, and explores the nature of organizational culture embedded in these values. In specific, this study analyzes such performances as ceremonies and rituals, regular or occasional, in Chosun Ilbo, since these are cultural practices which produce and circulate particular meanings and values forming the basis of organizational culture. According to this study, 'strong unity' is the core value which the owner family in Chosun Ilbo has ever been spotlighting. As long as the strong unity is stressed, the role playing as members of news organization for its interest is more highly regarded than carrying out the normative missions given unto the journalists in general.

The study subjects were 562 interns and residents who worked at one university hospital(tertiary hospital) and two general hospitals(secondary hospital) in Taegu, Korea. Among them, 297 (52.8%) responded completely. The results were as follows ; Respondents thought that people component was most important, science and status components were next among professional value scales which meant the desirable attitudes required to conduct professional works. But, the score of professional value scales was generally high and not affected by other variables in multiple linear regression analysis. They seemed to have very normative and ideal perceptions about professional values. The score of professionalism scales, which were attitudinal and behavioral traits about professional job, of high grade residents was significantly higher than that of interns and lower grade residents. The score of reference to professional organization and autonomy factor were increasing significantly as the grade increased. Working conditions and perception for socioeconomic status of doctors influenced the score of professionalism scale significantly. It seemed that professional socialization was made during the training periods of interns and residents. Most of respondents answered that current socioeconomic status of doctors were middle and high strata but they responded that the socioeconomic status of doctors would fall in the future. They seemed to have a pessimistic thought about doctor's status. Generally the respondents thought that they were satisfied with doctor job and fit to the job, but 51.9% answered that if possible they would get other jobs. It seemed to reflect their critical thinking on doctors' status. Perceptions about socioeconomic status of doctors, professional value and professionalism influenced job satisfaction significantly. This study is based by setting the security organization employed in security firms in the capital area(Seoul) in 2012 as the parent population and using the purposive sampling method to analyze a total amount of 280 examples. The frequency analysis, analysis on primary factors, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis, path analysis methods using SPSSWIN 18.0 were used in analysis. The reliability of the survey showed a Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ value of over 0.690. The results are like the following. First, the organization culture of security organization affect empowerment. Thus, the more a practical development culture is settled, the more the capability of self-determinism, meaningfulness, and effect is amplified. Moreover, the more a consensual culture is established, the more the capability of self-determinism is enhanced, and the more a hierarchical culture is established, the more the meaningfulness is enhanced. Second, the organization culture of security organization affect organization attachment. Thus, the continuous normative attachment is enhanced when a more hierarchical culture is established. Moreover, emotional attachment is enhanced when a more practical development culture is established. Third, the empowerment of security organization affects organization attachment. Thus, the continuous normative attachment is decreased when one's capability of self-determinism is more lacking. However, the continuous normative attachment is higher when the meaningfulness and effect is enhanced. Moreover, emotional attachment is enhanced when meaningfulness is increased. Fourth, the organization culture of security organization directly/indirectly affects empowerment and organization attachment. Thus, empowerment is an important mediating factor between organization culture and organization attachment.

  • This article is to search the aspects of realization and the characteristics of Gasa, Sijo, Japga among the Korean poetry genre based on Chohan-gosa. Chohan-gosa is a basic literary and historic discourse for the medieval intellectuals. The story had been realized its own literary value at almost every genres such as Chinese literature, novels, Gasa, Japga and Sijo etc. I focused on Gasa, Sijo and Japga among the genres in this article. First of all, I subjected to Wumiin-ga enjoyed in a area of boudoir culture from Gasa based on Chohan-gosa. I catch the meaning that the text has a characteristic that popularized history and normative ideology are mingled in through it. In the case of Sijo, I focused on the Sijo which Xiang Yu is appeared in because Xiang Yu has been most quoted person from people of Chohan-gosa. Xiang Yu was described as a strong man[hero] or a man who part with the beauty Wu. I understand that this point is caused by the theatricalized characteristic of the place where Sijo have been played. For the last time, Japga is played with the characteristic of stimulative reediting of the familiar normative ideology. Chohan-ga is based on contexts of former discourse eohan-yeonui but it was not plagiarized. Chohan-ga was organized for the way which attracted the interest of the public and stimulated the emotion of the public through using popular imagery or intensifying the sorrow.

  • The family concepts and values are investigated in this research, using data from a sample of 999 residents aged 14 to 89 years in Seoul. The results indicate that the family concepts of the subjects imply marital and/or parent-child relationships with normative gender role. People tend to regard divorced, remarried, and adopted members as famines, while classifying gay/lesbian couples, members living together in a communal fashion, and single households into nonfamily groups. People evaluate that the current Korean family doesn't adequately meet the functional needs of families in emotional support, solidarity, recreation, leisure, social and economic security, and generational transmission of culture. More conclusions and implications are discussed.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between HNR and NNE, EGG HNR and EGG NNE, which are most closely related to noise of voice. Dr. Speech was utilized to obtain acoustic measurements and physiologic measurements, simultaneously. In addition, no normative data of HNR, NNE, EGG HNR, EGG NNE are available in Korean subjects at present. The Pearson correlation coefficient was used to find the correlation between HNR and NNE, EGG HNR and EGG NNE. The results of the study were as follows: First, there was no correlation between HNR and NNE. Second, there was a negative correlation between EGG HNR and EGG NNE. Finally, the mean value of HNR of normal Korean adults was $28.8\pm2.7$ dB, that of NNE -$11.7\pm3.9$ dB, that of EGG HNR $32.9\pm4.6$ dB, and that of EGG NNE $-30.3\pm4.6$ dB.

  • The aim of this study was to determine the normative strength value for cervical flexors, extensors and right lateral flexors, left lateral flexors to provide a guideline for rehabilitation of cervical radiculopathy patients. The isometric evaluation of cervical flexors, extensors and lateral flexors by using the Hand-held dynamometer was performed on 50 males and 50 females. The result were as follows. The average cervical muscle strength were 5.7 kg in flexor. 10.5 kg in extensors, and 6.6 kg in right lateral flexor, 6.5 kg in left lateral flexor. There was statistically significant difference between the cervical flexors and extensors(p<0.01) but no significant difference between right lateral flexor and left lateral flexor. There was statistically significant difference between male and female(p<0.01). When one of cervical muscle was strong, also the others did in subjects(p<0.01) and the body weight was significantly releated to the cervical muscle strength(p<0.01).

  • The current research investigates customers' voluntary participation, using a sample of 446 consumers who visit fashion retail stores. The main focus of this study is to test a social exchange CVP model, including three antecedents of customers' perceived justice through mediators of service satisfaction and brand commitment. In support of the proposed model, I identify fully mediated relationships from interactional justice to the three CVP via service satisfaction and brand commitment and partially mediated relationship from distributive justice to the three CVP through brand commitment. No mediated relationship found for procedural justice neither through service satisfaction nor brand commitment to the CVP behaviors. The results generally support that the significantly indirect effects of perceived justice to the three CVP and satisfaction and commitment are the important mediators in between. The concept of justice can be interpreted in light of the normative value of social exchange relationship.

  • Degree of difficulty in policy problems depends on a gap between present situation and desiriable situation. It is a international common sense that Agricultural policy is performed on the basis of protectionism, but yet it seems to be a hot issue in Korea, and there are many difficult problems in agricultural policies. Natural of these problems is interdependent. and a more efficient approach to these is to be systematic one. Therefore, in this paper, as a basic study to make more desirable agricultural policy, a basic structure for the systemization of goals or targets of Agricultural policy is studied. Because value judgement is much difficult matter in normative approach, basic goals of agricultural policy used in this study are selected among collective preference indicators which "are being required" or "should be required" clearly in our society (Korea), and the context of recent agricultural policies history in OCED countries is referenced to gain this goals in Agricultural policies.

  • The paper discusses how the new EU Strategy towards Central Asia issued in May 2019 might be analyzed through the lens of the intensely debated transformations from the liberal to a post-liberal international order. The author claims that the EU's normative power is transforming from the post-Cold War predominantly liberal/ value-based approach, with democracy and human rights at its core, to a set of more technical tools and principles of good governance and effective management of public administration. The paper problematizes a nexus between the dynamics of the EU's nascent post-liberalism and the geopolitical challenges of the EU's growing engagement with illiberal regimes, focuses on direct encounters between the post-liberal EU and the illiberal elites in Central Asia, and seeks to find out the impact of these connections upon the EU's international subjectivity. In this context geopolitical dimensions of EU foreign and security policies, along with the specificity of the EU's geopolitical actorship in Central Asia, are discussed.
