  • The chatter to raise grinding operating is reduce the precision and the quality. In this study, In reply to AE signal and the normal force generated in the grinding operating were measured (1) the amplitude in the mathematical model of the normal force is the form as to transform an exponential (2) the chatter growth is minus point of an exponent. (3) From the observed wheel aspect after the chatter growth, it was to investigated the concern of the chatter growth and the wheel life.

  • In this thesis we concerned with the degree of similarity in pairs of scores having a common mean and variance could express similarity in terms of the absolute difference between the standardized scores. We particulary discussed the distribution of absolute differences between pairs of T scores among many standardized scores and demonstrated the procedures for calculating the lower limit of Med(│d│) values i. e. the maximum possible similarity with medians and correlation coefficients of the equivalent form tests by using the folded normal distribution, although other researchers expressed the degree of similarity using only the standard normal distribution. We also described many cases how to use those techniques and to apply effectively them in real evaluation fields.

  • In this paper we studied the effective approximations to the distribution of the sum of products of normal variables. Based on the saddlepoint approximations to the quadratic forms, the suggested approximations are very accurate and easy to use. Applications to the FSK (Frequency Shift Keying) communication are also considered.

  • As industrial standard data, the STL format which approximates three dimensional CAD model to triangular facets, is used for RP(Rapid Prototyping) system in recent days. Because most RP system take the only form of two dimensional line segments as an input stream inspite of its imperfectness while converting into STL format, a CAD model is converted into a standard industrial format which is composed of many triangular facets. The error verifying process is composed of four main steps, and these are 1) Remove facets with two or more vertices equal to each other. 2) Fix overlapping error such as more than three facets adjacent to anedge. 3) Fill holes in the mesh by using Delaunay triangulation method. 4) Correct the wrong direction and normal vectors. This paper is concerned with serching the mentioned errors in advance and modifying them.

  • In stressed power system, due to the presence of increased nonlinearity and the existence of nonlinear modal interactions, there exist some limitations to the use of conventional linear system theory to identify the optimum sites for controller. This paper proposes an approach to identify the optimum sites for controller using the method of normal forms. In this paper nonlinear participation factor and coupling factor are proposed as a measures of identification of optimum sites for controller and a selection procedure is also proposed. The proposed procedure is applied to the 10-generator New England System and the KEPCO System in the year of 2010 to illustrate its capabilities.

  • Consider the second order self-adjoint neutral difference equation of form $\Delta(a_n$\mid$\Delta(x_n\;-\;{p_n}{x_{{\tau}_n}}$\mid$^{\alpha}sgn{\Delta}(x_n\;-\;{p_n}{x_{{\tau}_n}}\;+\;f(n,\;{x_{g_n}}\;=\;0$. In this paper, we will give the classification of nonoscillatory solutions of the above equation; and by the fixed point theorem, we present some existence results for some kinds of nonoscillatory solutions of the equation.

  • If normality of an observed data is not a viable assumption, we can carry out normal-theory analyses by suitable transforming data. Power transformation by Box and Cox, one of the transformation methods, is derived the power which maximized the likelihood function. But it doesn't induces the closed form in mathematical analysis. In this paper, we compose some R the syntax of which is easier than other statistical packages for deriving the power with using numerical methods. Also, by using R, we show the transformed data approximately distributed the normal through Q-Q plot in univariate and bivariate cases with some examples. Finally, we present the value of a goodness-of-fit statistic(AD) and its p-value for normal distribution. In the similar procedure, this method can be extended to more than bivariate case.

  • The frequency of sex chromatin in neutrophil leukocyte of 14 female and 4 male normal, adult rabbits was examined and compared to those of single total X-ray irradiation. 1. The average frequency of of drumstck was 9 % in female and 0.1% in male, and that of sessile nodule was 3.35% in female and 0.9% in male , in normal condition rabbit . These results fairly determined sex ratio by sex chromatin in neutrophil leukocyte. 2. The drumstick frequency reduces to half after X-irradiaton but did not show any regular tendency or variation in morphologicla form, indicating the stability of chromatin to X-irradiation. 4. The chromatin satellite was found with a reasonable frequency in the some kinds of irradiated cells, polymorphonuclear neutrophil (above 7 lobes 0 and megakarycyte.

  • In this paper, we develop the Bayesian multiple comparison procedure for the normal model. The procedure which we suggest is based on the fractional Bayes factor of O'Hagan (1995). We apply our procedure to normal populations, when noninformative prior is assumed to the model parameters. We derive explicit form of Bayes Factors when the number of populations is greater than 3. A famous data is analyzed by the proposed procedure. For this example, the suggested method is straightforward for specifying distributionally and to implement computationally, with output readily adapted for required comparison.

  • This study aims to generalize MINRES-N2 method [1]. It means that we tend to obtain an algorithm to transfer each normal matrix - that its eigenvalues belong to an algebraic curve of low degree k- to its condensed form through using a unitary similarity transformation. Then, we aim to obtain a method to solve a system of linear equations that its coefficient matrix is equal to such a matrix by utilizing it. Finally this method is compared to the well-known GMRES method through using numerical examples. The results obtained through examples show that the given method is more efficient than GMRES.
