인천 일부 지역 초등학교의 정상 아동과 비만 아동 간의 식습관 및 비만 관련 요인 비교 (Comparison of Food Habit and the Factors Associated with Obesity between Obese Children and Normal Children in Elementary School in Incheon)

  • This study was performed in order to investigate the difference of general environment, life style, dietary behavior and food habit between the obese children and normal children. The number of subject was 98 obese children, 347 normal children. General characteristic was not significantly different, however father's BMI of obese children was significantly (p<0.05) higher than that of normal children. There was significant difference between obese children and normal children in mother's office-closing hour (p<0.05). Normal children spent more time to play outdoor than obese children in their free time. Normal children slept over 8 hours, but obese children slept below 8 hours. Most of obese children (70.4%) ate too many times and most of obese children (72.4%) recognized their overweight. Parents of obese children considered that their children need to control their weight and correct their eating habits such as overeating. Obese children could not bear hunger and kept eating a meal until they feel full. Obese children preferred fried or broiled food. Therefore nutritional education is necessary to improve the food habits of obese children and to reduce the obesity rate of children.

  • The purpose of this survey was to investigate the relationship among obese children, dietary intake and environmental factors. Therefore, this survey compared obese children with normal children on dietary intake and environmental factors. The survey were 110 obese children and 110 normal children whose age, height, and sex were same as the obese children of 21 elementary school in Inchon. The statistical analysis of data was completed using SAS program. The results were summarized as follows : 1) The student's obesity was related to parent's obesity and number of their siblings. There were significant differences between obese groups and normal group for these two factors. 2) Meal time of the obese group showed more irregularity than that of the normal group. Otherwise, the normal group were more "piclity" about special food than the obese group(p<0.05). Also obese children showed unconsious eating while reading or watching TV(p<0.01). The normal group attended physical education class more eagerily the obese group(p<0.001). There was no significant difference between obese children and normal children for learning habits. 3) Obese children shoed higher intake of nutrients compared to normal children. Among all the nutrients, minerals and vitamins showed significant differences. Therefore, further study on obese children and their intake of minerals and vitamin is needed. Also, in order to prevent factors which influence obesity, nutrition education at home as well as school was needed.as needed.

아동의 우울 정도에 따른 가족환경 지각에 관한 연구 (The Perception of Family Environment in Depressed and Normal Children)

  • Children's depression and perception of family environment were measured in 218 elementary school children with the use of the CDI(Children's Depression Inventory), CBCL(Child Behavior Check List) and FES(Family Environment Scale). Two-way ANOVA revealed that the scores of the depressed children were higher on the CBCL than the scores of the normal children. The degree of cohesion, independence, intellectual orientation, and organization was higher in normal than in depressed children, but the conflict of depressed children was higher than that of normal children.

다문화 가정 아동의 사동문, 피동문 이해와 사동 및 피동 접미사 표현 능력 (Comprehension and Production of Causative and Passive Sentences in Multicultural Family Children)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out by comparing the ability of comprehension and production of causative and passive sentences and grammatical morphemes between multicultural family children and normal children. Fifteen multicultural family children and fifteen normal children aged 7-9 years participated in this study. The results of this study are as follows; First, the children of multicultural family showed significantly a lower ability to comprehension and production of causative and passive sentences compared to normal children. Second, the children of multicultural family showed the difference about the acquisition of grammatical morpheme of causative and passive compared to normal children. Third, multicultural family children and normal children were not statistically significant differences in comprehension and production abilities of causative and passive in accordance with the increase of age.

비장애 아동과 전반적 발달장애 아동에서 회전 후 안구진탕 기간의 비교 (The Difference of Duration of Post-rotatory Nystagmus Test Between Normal Children and Children With Pervasive Developmental Disorder)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to get the mean of duration of post-rotatory nystagmus test in normal children and to differentiate the duration of post-rotatory nystagmus test between normal children and children with pervasive developmental disorder. Method : 84 subjects were between 3 and 5 years of age and consisted of 64 normal children and 20 children with the pervasive developmental disorder. Analysis of the data was done by using t-test and ANOVA. Results : The results were as follows: 1. Range of duration of post-rotatory nyatagmus test in normal children was $5{\sim}22$second on left and $7{\sim}21$ second on right and the mean was 12.63 second on left and 12.59 second on right. 2. Range of duration of post-rotatory nystagmus test in children with the pervasive developmental disorder was $3{\sim}11$ second on both and the mean was 5.65 second on left and 5.60 second on right. 3. There was no significant difference between males and females with normal children in duration of post-rotatory nystagmus test. However, there was a significant difference of the mean duration between 3 and 5 years old normal group. 4. Children with pervasive developmental disorder significantly have relatively lower duration than the duration of post-rotatory nystagmus test of normal children. Conclusions : The results of the study showed significant difference between normal children and children with pervasive developmental disorder in duration of post-rotatory nystagmus test and suggest that they could be applied to the baseline of clinical therapy.

사회적 장애아의 특질에 관한 연구 (A Study on Characteristics of Socially-Handicapped Children)

  • I. Objectives of the study This study attempted In examine, from a pedagogical point of view, how socially-handicapped children differ from normal ones in their family backgrounds, personality-traits. adaptability to school life, and their peer relationship. This study was made under the following hypothesis; 1. The family background of socially-handicapped children is less desirable than that of normal ones. 2. Personality traits of socially-handicapped children are less desirable than those of normal ones. 3. Socially handicapped children tend to be less adaptable to school life than normal ones. 4. Peer-relationship of socially-handicapped children is less desirable than of normal ones . II. Contents of study The thesis consists of the following five main parts; 1. Introduction 2. Related Studies 3. Procedure 4. Results 5. Summary and Conclusions III. Instruments The following instruments were used for this study; 1. Family background record prepared by the school. 2. Questionnaire prepared by the writer. 3. General personality test (written by Kim Ki-Suk and published by Korean Testing Center). 4. School activity record. 5. Sociocratic test. IV. The following conclusions were derived from the study 1, As compared with normal children, socially-handicapped ones have, in many cases, larger number of siblings, their families belong to lower economic bracket: their parents were indifferent to their children, and their mothers were less educated. 2. As compared with normal children, socially-handicapped ones are emotionally unstable, although they are the same as normal children in their sense of dominancy, responsibility, sociality, and confidence. 3. As compared with normal children, socially-handicapped ones are tardy in their learning, although they are almost the same as normal ones in their intelligence development. 4. As compared with normal children, socially-handicapped ones make friends more easily with pupils of other classes and schools rather than those of their own class or school.

Tic 장애아동과 정상아동의 어머니 양육태도의 비교연구 (A Comparative study on the Maternal Behavior between Mothers of Tic-disordeed Children and Mothers of Normal)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in the maternal behavior between mothers of tic-disordered children and mothers of normal. The subjects of this study were 30 mothers of tic-disordered children from Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul National Mental Hospital and two personal mental practice offices, also, there were another 30 mothers of normal. Statistical methods selected for data analyses were freqences, t-test. The main results of this study were summerized as follows; 1. The maternal behavior of normal children was warmer than that of tic-disordered at the level of p<.001. 2. The maternal behavior of normal children was more acceptable than that of tic-disordered. But, no statistical significance. 3. Mothers of normal children were more extrovert than mothers of tic-disordered at the level of p<.01. 4. The maternal behavior of tic-disordered provoked more dependency than that of normal at the level of p<.001. 5. Mothers of tic-disordered controlled children more than those of normal. But, no statistical significance. 6. Mothers of tic-disordered evaluated children and themselves more negative than those of normal at the level of p<.001. 7. Mothers of tic-disordered have more dependent tendencies than those of normal. But, no statistical significant.

정신지체아동과 일반아동의 부정하기 비교 (Comparison in Negation of the Children with Mental Retardation and Normal Children)

  • In this study, children with MR were compared with normal children in overall production rate and production types of six semantic categories of negation. For this purpose, 10 children with MR and another 10 language-age matched normal children were selected. The results of this study were as the following: First, the children with MR showed significantly low overall production rate, compared with normal children. Two groups demonstrated signifiant differences in denial, disability, ignorance, prohibition and rejection except nonexistence. Second, in production type, the children with MR tended to use more gestures, and in comparison, normal children used more 'mixed types'.

철분부족아동과 정상아동의 영양소 섭취량, 신체계측치, 식행동에 관한 비교연구 (A Comparative Study on Nutrient Intake, Anthropometric Data and Food Behavior in Children with Suboptimal Iron Status and Normal Children)

  • This study was performed to investigated the difference in the nutritional status of normal children and children with suboptimal iron status. Two hundred and sixty children from 5th grade were divided into 2 groups(normal group and suboptimal group) according to the hematologic parameters of iron(RBC count, hemoglobin, serum ferritin). Normal group was composed of 71 male and 81 female and suboptimal group was consisted of 65 male and 43 female. Fat percentage of children from suboptimal group was 18.9%, which was significantly lower than 22.1% of normal group(p<0.05). TST and MAC of suboptimal group were also lower than those of normal group(p<0.05). Mean intakes of energy, protein, thiamin, riboflavin, iron were lower than those in normal group(p<0.05). suboptimal female students showed 1197.6㎉ of energy intake(63.0% of RDA) and 0.56㎎ of thiamin intake(56% of RDA). Mean RBC count, hematocrit, hemoglobin, ferritin(p<0.01) and FEP(p<0.05) of suboptimal group were lower than those of normal group. Thirty-nine point seven percent of children from suboptimal group was observed with having gastrointestinal disease which was significantly higher than 22.1% of normal group. 영재아동과 일반아동의 성격 특성의 차이 분석 (Differences in Personality Characteristics between Gifted and Normal Children)

  • 본 연구는 영재아동과 일반아동의 성격 특성의 차이와 영재아동의 성별에 따른 성격 특성의 차이를 알아보는 것이다. 부산광역시에 소재하고 있는 2개 초등학교 4-6학년에 재학 중인 아동 237명과 초등학교 4-6학년에 재학 중인 아동 중 담임교사를 통해 학교에서의 성취(집단지능검사나 학업성취 등)가 상위 5% 이내이거나, 교사가 영재로 지목한 학생들을 K-WISC-III를 실시하여 IQ지수가 130이 넘은 아동 108명을 대상으로 5요인 아동용 성격검사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 영재아동과 일반아동은 신경증, 외향성, 개방성, 성실성에서 큰 차이를 보였으나 친화성은 별 차이가 없었다. 둘째, 영재여아와 영재남아는 성격 측면에서 두드러진 차이를 보이지 않았다. 그러나 하위 요인에서 영재남아는 신경증의 하위요인인 수줍음(위축)과 개방성의 하위요인인 영리성이 영재여아보다 유의미하게 높았고, 외향성의 하위요인인 자극추구성은 유의미하게 낮았다. 이러한 연구 결과는 아동의 정서적 안정이나 적극성, 열정, 그리고 사물과 상황을 바라보는 개방적인 사고와 높은 성취욕구와 유능감 등이 영재아동의 두드러진 특서이라 할 수 있으며 영재아동의 잠재력을 최대한 발휘할 수 있는 교수-학습 프로그램을 구성하기 위해서는 성의 차이를 고려하기보다는 개개인의 성격 차이를 고려하여야 함을 시사한다.
