비x86 플랫폼 상에서의 CUDA 컴퓨팅을 위한 QEMU 및 GPGPU-Sim 기반 시뮬레이션 프레임워크 개발 (A Simulation Framework for CUDA Computing on Non-x86 Platforms based on QEMU and GPGPU-Sim)

  • 본 논문에서는 QEMU와 GPGPU-Sim에 기반하여 비x86 플랫폼을 위한 CUDA 시뮬레이션 프레임워크를 제안한다. 기존 CPU-GPU 이종 컴퓨팅 시뮬레이터는 x86 CPU 모델만을 지원하거나 CUDA를 지원하지 않는 한계를 가진다. 제안된 시뮬레이터는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 x86을 포함하여 비x86 CPU 모델을 지원 가능한 QEMU와 CUDA를 지원하는 GPU 시뮬레이터인 GPGPU-Sim을 통합하였다. 이를 통해 비x86 기반의 CUDA 컴퓨팅 환경을 시뮬레이션할 수 있도록 하였다.

Synchrotron X-ray 미세영상기법을 이용한 식물 목질부 내부 수액 유동의 계측 (Flow Measurement in Xylem Vessels of a Bamboo Leaf Using Synchrotron X-ray Micro Imaging)

  • Synchrotron X-ray micro imaging technique was employed to non-invasively monitor the water flow inside xylem vessels in a bamboo leaf. The phase contrast X-ray images clearly visualized plant anatomy and the rise of a water front inside the vessels. Consecutive X-ray images taken for 60 seconds revealed water rise kinetics against gravity in the xylem of a cut dry leaf taken from a bamboo tree. For the first time, traces of water rise, variation of contact angle between water and xylem wall as well as the internal structure of xylem were obtained. In xylem vessels, a repeating flow pattern has a typical flow velocity of $30.7{\mu}m/s$ and faster flow is established intermittently. It is concluded that the transmission type of X-ray micro imaging can be used as a powerful tool to investigate the ascent of sap in the xylem vessels at a resolution higher than that of MRI.

Plasma CVD 법에 의한 ITO 박막제작

  • 박막 EL소자의 투명전극으로 제작된 ITO막의 전기적, 광학적 특성을 조사하였다. Plama CVD방법으로 제작된 ITO막은 증착시 산소결핍으로 인한 비 다량결합(non-stochiometry) 에 의해 In이 석출되어 흑화현상이 일어나 전기전도도와 광투과율을 향상을 위해 산소분위기에서 30$0^{\circ}C$로 4분간 열처리를 행하였다. 한편 ITO막의 비저항 $\rho$와 광투과율 T를 Van der pauw법과 단색 분광계로 각각 측정하였다. 그 결과 상온에서 10-15$\Omega$/$\square$의 면저항과 400-1000nm의 파장영역에서 85-95%의 광투과율을 가져 박막 EL소자의 투명전극 조건을 만족하였다. 열처리에 대학 ITO막의 구조적 특성을 알아보기 위해 X-선회절장치(JEOL.JDX-8030)로 조사하였다. Fig.1은 X-선 회절 패턴을 나타낸다. 열처리후 ITO막은 상대적으로 최대 강도(peak intensity) 가 증가함으로써 열처리에 의해 결정성 향상이되었음을 알수 있다. Fig.2는 파장에 따른 ITO막의 광투과도를 나타낸다.

비화재보를 위한 X-ray tube 내 열 유동해석에 관한 연구 (A study on thermal fluid analysis in X-ray tube for non-fire alarm)

  • Currently, Korea is an aging society, and it is expected to enter a super-aging society in about 4 years. Accordingly, many X-ray technologies are being developed. In X-rays, 99% of X-rays are converted into heat energy and 1% into light energy (X-rays). 99% of the thermal energy raises the temperature of the anode and its surroundings, and the cooling system is an important factor as overheating can affect the deterioration of X-ray quality and shortened lifespan. There is a method of forced air cooling using natural convection. Therefore, in this study, when X-rays were taken 5 times, Flow analysis was performed on heat removal according to temperature rise and cooling time for the heat generated at the anode of the X-ray tube (input power 60kW, 75kW, 90kW). Based on one-shot, the most rapid temperature rise section increased by more than 57% to 0.03 seconds, A constant temperature rises from 0.03 seconds to 0.1 seconds, It is judged that the temperature rises by about 8.2% or more at one time. After one-shot cooling, the cooling drops sharply from about 60% to 0.03 seconds, It is judged that the temperature has cooled by more than 86% compared to the temperature before shooting. One-shot is cooled by more than 86% with cooling time after 0.1 seconds, As the input power of the anode increases, the cooling temperature gradually increases. Since the tungsten of the anode target inside the X-ray tube may be damaged by thermal shock caused by a rapid temperature rise, an improvement method for removing thermal energy is required when using a high-input power supply.

Knowledge, Perceptions, and Self-reported Performance of Hand Hygiene Among Registered Nurses at Community-based Hospitals in the Republic of Korea: A Cross-sectional Multi-center Study

  • Objectives: To assess the nurses' hand hygiene (HH) knowledge, perception, attitude, and self-reported performance in small- and medium-sized hospitals after Middle East Respiratory Syndrome outbreak. Methods: The structured questionnaire was adapted from the World Health Organization's survey. Data were collected between June 26 and July 14, 2017. Results: Nurses showed scores on knowledge ($17.6{\pm}2.5$), perception ($69.3{\pm}0.8$), self-reported HH performance of non-self ($86.0{\pm}11.0$), self-reported performance of self ($88.2{\pm}11.0$), and attitude ($50.5{\pm}5.5$). HH performance rate of non-self was $Y_1=36.678+0.555X_1$ (HH performance rate of self) (adjusted $R^2=0.280$, p<0.001). The regression model for performance was $Y_4=18.302+0.247X_{41}(peception)+0.232X_{42}(attitude)+0.875X_{42}(role model)$; coefficients were significant statistically except attitude, and this model significant statistically (adjusted $R^2=0.191$, p<0.001). Conclusions: Advanced HH education program would be developed and operated continuously. Perception, attitude, role model was found to be a significant predictors of HH performance of self. So these findings could be used in future HH promotion strategies for nurses.

아민화된 다공성 및 비다공성 폴리스티렌 디비닐벤젠 음이온교환체의 성질 (The Properties of Porous and Non Porous Aminated Polystyrene Divinylbenzene Anion Exchanger)

  • 비다공성 및 다공성 폴리스티렌 디비닐벤젠 공중합체를 합성하고, 이것을 클로로메틸화 한후, 메틸아민으로 아미노화하여 약염기성 음이온교환수지인, 50∼100mesh의 비다공성, N-APSTDVB와 다공성, P-APSTDVB를 만들었다. 합성한 이들 음이온교환수지를 적외선 흡수스펙트럼으로 확인하였다. 이들 음이온교환수지의 최대 이온교환용량은 4.86meq/g이었다. 다공성 폴리스티렌 디비닐벤젠 공중합체, P-APSTDVB의 세공용적은, 디비닐벤젠의 볼륨퍼센트를 30%로 하였을 때, X$_{diluent}$의 증가에 따라서 증가하였다. 또한 X$_{diluent}$의 양을 0.5로 일정하게 하였을때, P-APSTDVB공중합체의 세공용적은, 디비닐벤젠의 볼륨퍼센트가 증가함에 따라 증가하였다. 디비닐벤젠의 퍼센트를 8%로 일정하게 하고, X$_{heptane}$을 0.5로 하였을 때, 합성한 공중합체와 음이온교환수지의 세공용적은, P-PSTDVB >P-APSTDVB >N-PSTDVB순으로 감소하였다. 여러 농도하에서의, 여러종류의 알코올 수용액중에서의 N-APSTDVB음이온교환수지에 대한 붕산의 분포계수가, 또한 논의되었다.

A Succesful Approach to Non-Pharmaceutical Treatment of Neck Disc Patients

  • The neck disc is a disease in which the nucleus of the cervical spine escapes between the cervical vertebrae and the intervertebral disc, pressing on the nerve, The neck disc has a high recurrence. If the neck disc is left untreated, the symptoms will worsen and cause inconvenience to life. Therefore, this study is to carry out a successful approach for non-pharmaceutical treatment of neck disc patients. The paper conducted a survey of 102 people who visited the orthopedics of a general hospital at K area from January 15 to March 28, 2024. Symptoms and changes in practice of neck disc were analyzed by t-test. The results of the research are as follows. Firstly, in the case of incorrect sitting posture, 74.5% of the case group was significantly higher than 33.3% of the control group((X2=3.79, p<.01). Secondly, neckache was significantly higher than the control group's average of 12.73 points, with an average of 39.86 points in the case group(t=3.14, p<.01). Thirdly, leg numbness tended to decrease from 7 days after non-drug application compared to before non-drug application. Therefore, the application of this non-drug management was found to be effective in relieving neck disk. The findings derived will contribute to providing valuable insights into the prevention and treatment of neck disc.
