평판의 면내 진동인텐시티 측정 (Measurements of the In-Plane Vibration Intensity of a Plate)

  • The objective of this paper is to develop an experimental technique to measure the in-plane vibration intensity of a plate. In order to measure the in-plane vibration intensity at a data point, the frequency response functions for the 2 components of an acceleration vector are measured at each point of 4 points in the neighborhood of the data point. This experimental technique has been implemented to measure the in-plane vibration intensity of a plate. The experimental result has been compared with a theoretical result. It showed that the experimental technique can be effectively used to measure the in-plane vibration intensity of plates.

  • In this study acoustical characteristics of system air conditioner in different ceiling systems was investigated in anechoic and real conditions. Same Types of air conditioners were installed in two different rooms. The results showed that motor's tonal component was emphasized at near fart of air blast blower in the exposed type while fan's harmonic component is emphasized rather in the enclosed type. This confirms tile result of acoustical intensity mapping which showed that Intensity level of 125Hz octave band increased in the exposed type while there was no noticeable difference at the frequency band in the enclosed type.

  • The error intensity models for the ML estimation of a signal parameter have been developed in a companion paper [1]. While the methods described in [1] are applicable to any estimation problem with continuous parameters, our main application in this paper is the time delay estimation, and comparisons among the models derived in [1] (i.e. LC, LM, and ALM models)have been made. We first consider the case where only additive Gaussian noise is involved, and then the shot noise environment where coherent impulsive noise is also involved in addition to the Gaussian noise. We compare the models in terms of the probability of error, MSE(Mean Squared Error), and the computational complexity, which are the most important performance criteria in the analysis of parameter estimation. In conclusion, the ALM model turned out to be the most adequate model of all from the viewpoints of the criteria mentioned above.

음원 위치 검출기의 구현 (Implementation of Sound Source Location Detector)

  • 인간의 청각시스템은 두 가지 요소 즉, ITD(Interaural Time Difference)와 IID(Interaural Intensity Difference)를 처리하여 음원의 위치와 추적을 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 음원의 위치 검출을 위하여 ITD와 IID 뿐만 아니라 이전의 위치 정보를 이용하여 정확한 음원의 방향을 결정할 수 있는 TEPILD(Time Energy Previous Integration Location Detector) 모델을 제안하였다. TEPILD 모델에서 time function generator는 ITD, energy function generator는 IID를 처리할 수 있도록 하였다. 음원은 정현파(500Hz,1kHz, 2kHz, 3kHz), White noise, Pink noise, News, Music으로 하고 음원의 방향은 right, front right, front, front left, left로 하였다. 실험 결과 전체 평균 정확도가99.2로 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있었으며, TEPILD가 음원 위치 검출기에 이용될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

운전 중 실내 소음의 유형 및 강도에 따른 주관적 속도감에 관한 연구 (A Driving Study on Driver's Subjective Speed Estimation as a Function of the Vehicle Noise Types and Intensity)

  • 본 연구는 운전 중 발생하는 청각 자극의 유형 및 정도가 운전자가 지각하는 주관적 속도감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 수행되었다. 본 연구에서 사용된 청각 자극은 엔진 소음과 음악 소리였으며 전자는 자동차의 속도에 따라 함께 변하는 청각 단서인 반면 후자는 자동차의 속도와는 무관하게 변화하는 비단서 소음으로 사용되었다. 엔진 소음의 강도만 조작되어 제시된 실험 1에서는 엔진 소음의 크기에 따라 운전자가 느끼는 주관적 속도감이 다르게 나타나 운전자들은 엔진 소음이 작을수록 기준속도보다 더 빨리 주행한 반면 엔진 소음이 클수록 더 천천히 주행하는 것이 관찰되었다. 실험 2에서는 엔진 소음과 음악 소리를 모두 들려주었는데, 그 결과 엔진 소음의 크기변화에 따른 주관적 속도감의 차이는 여전히 나타났으나 음악 소리의 크기변화에 따른 속도감의 차이는 보이지 않았다. 또한 실험 1과 2를 통합하여 음악 소리의 유무효과를 분석해 본 결과 음악 소리가 엔진 소음을 차폐시킬 만큼 크고 엔진 소음이 작을 경우에는 음악 소리가 없는 경우보다 속도를 더 내는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 음악 소리가 속도감에 영향을 주는 직접요인은 아니지만 간접적으로 영향을 미친다는 가능성을 시사한다.

  • This paper represents an identification procedure for leading mechanism of a car A/V system which is composed of a DC motor and a set of plastic gears. In addition, we studied dominant noise source of rattle noise generated by external forced vibration as a car drives. we made a dynamometer to produce stationary operation on loading mechanism of A/V system because noise generated by actual loading mechanism is non-stationary signal. operating the dynamometer setup at various motor speeds, sound pressure spectra are measured and the results are analyzed. its dominant noise source is also identified by using a sound Intensity technique. we made use of multi-dimensional spectral analysis to rind a dominant rattle noise. this method is so useful to eliminate coherence between vibration sources and helps us obtain coherent output spectrum of individual vibration source which make a rattle noise.

Adaptive Wavelet Denoising For Speech Rocognition in Car Interior Noise

  • In this paper, we propose an adaptive wavelet method for car interior noise cancellation. For this purpose, we use a node dependent threshold which minimizes the Bayesian risk. We propose a noise estimation method based on spectral entropy using histogram of intensity and a candidate best basis instead of Donoho's best bases. And we modify the hard threshold function. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is more efficient, especially to heavy noisy signal than conventional one.

반복 semi-blind 위너 필터링을 이용한 이진영상의 복원 (Restoration of Bi-level Images via Iterative Semi-blind Wiener Filtering)

  • We present a novel deblurring algorithm for bi-level images blurred by some parameterizable point spread function. The proposed method iteratively searches unknown parameters in the point spread function and noise-to-signal ratio by minimizing an objective function that is based on the binariness and the difference between two intensity values of restoring image. In simulations and experiments, the proposed method showed improved performance compared with the Wiener filtering based method in terms of bit error rate after segmentation.

다차원 해석법을 이용한 자동차 공조시스템의 기여도분석 (Coherent Analysis of vehicle HVAC Using the MDSA Method)

  • To verify applicability of multi-dimensional spectral analysis (MDSA) fur noise source identification two different approaches which are frequency response and coherent function have been investigated. The coherence function approach appears able to separate the correlated system when the noise sources were coherent. In this study, we identify contribution of structure-borne-noise of vehicle HVAC system using MDSA method. Firstly, to identify the applicability of MDSA method, 4-inputs of vehicle HVAC system were the signals measured by accelerometers attached on the selected noise sources which were composed of blower, evaporator, heater and duct. While 1-output which was driver's position sound was the SPL signals measured by a remote microphone, when the blower motor was operating. We identify efficiency of systems modeled with four Inputs/single output through ordinary coherence function (OCF) and partial coherence function (PCF). As a result of experiment, the blower accounted for $62-88\%$ of the overall level of sound energy density. Also, according to the analysis of acoustic signal and vibration signals measurement, an investigation of the noise source identification in the vehicle HVAC is presented. With the sound intensity method, the major sources of the vehicle HVAC radiation are verified. Also the method of improving the noise reduction is proposed by attaching damping patch access to blower motor and noise reduction is verified.

음향 인텐시티법을 이용한 GDI 엔진 소음원 규명 및 소음 기여도 분석에 관한 연구 (Identification of Airborne-noise Source and Analysis for Noise Source Contribution of a GDI Engine Using Sound Intensity Method)

  • In this paper, a new method is proposed to estimate the sound pressure generated from gasoline direct injection (GDI) engine. There are many noise sources as much as components in GDI engine. Among these components, fuel pump, fuel injector, fuel rail, pressure pump and intake/exhaust manifolds are major components generated from top of the engine. In order to estimate the contribution of these components to engine noise, the total sound pressure at the front of the engine is estimated by using airborne source quantification (ASQ) method. Airborne source quantification method requires the acoustic source volume velocity of each component. The volume velocity has been calculated by using the inverse method. The inverse method requires many tests and has ill-condition problem. This paper suggested a method to obtain volume velocity directly based on the direct measurement of sound intensity and particle velocity. The method is validated by using two known monopole sources installed at the anechoic chamber. Finally the proposed method is applied to the identification and contribution of noise sources caused by the GDI components of the test engine.
