부분구조의 민감도해석을 이용한 버스차체의 진동특성 분석 (Analysis on Vibration Characteristics of Bus Body Structure using Sensitivity Analysis of Component Structures)

  • In this paper, a sensitivity analysis technique is presented for performing effective structural optimization of bus system. Design sensitivities are analyzed on natural frequency of bus substructures using super-element. Vibration modes of substructure, which large affect on the global vibration mode of bus B.I.W., are found through the sensitivity analysis using the chain rule. And design variables, which are determined from the sensitivity analysis, are changed through optimum design.

  • The direct design modification of problematic component is disallowed in order to sacrifice other major factors such as a stability or a major performance. So, the best design policy is to risvise the immature structural medchanism under the minimal design change as soon as possible. For this paper presents a new design sensitivity analysis based on transmissibility rtio (TR) of response acceleration to find a proper candidate for the minimal design modification. The new sensitivity analysis is based on the fact that the sensitivity of TR over a small design change is inversly proportinal to the magnitude of TR. The theory of proposed design sensitivity analysis is simulated with the variance of TR over a dynamic change. Then, new methodology is appplied for a linear elastic specimen to detect the most sensitive node over a design change using measured accleration data during uni-axial vibration test, The physical verification of the sensitivity method is conducted on the CAE model of a linear elastic specimen by adding concentration mass and the vibration fatigue of the simple specimen is analyzed to estimate the relationship between fatigue behaviors and sensitivity consequences.

장거리 사물인터넷을 위한 케리어 센싱 기술 (Carrier Sensing Techniques for Long Range Internet of Things)

  • 사물인터넷 시대에는 사물들이 유무선 네트워크로 서로 연결되어 필요할 때마다 정보를 주고 받는다. 채널과 네트워크 환경은 시간에 따라 변하고 잡음과 간섭 신호가 채널에 혼재하므로 자신이 수신해야 하는 신호가 언제 채널에 존재하는지 판단하는 케리어 센싱 기능이 매우 중요하다. 무선 통신 시스템의 케리어 센싱 회로는 수신기의 수신감도를 결정짓고, 수신감도는 시스템의 서비스 커버리지와 서비스 품질과 밀접한 연관이 있다. 수신감도가 낮을수록 서비스 커버리지가 증가하지만 노이즈에 민감해지고, 수신감도가 높을수록 서비스 커버리지는 감소하는 반면에 노이즈에 둔감해 진다. 그러므로 수신감도와 노이즈 민감도 관점에서 최적의 케리어 센싱 설계와 최적화가 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 장거리 사물인터넷을 위해 수신감도의 최적화 관점에서 효과적인 케리어 센싱 기법을 제안한다.

디지털 방사선 시스템(DR)의 복부와 골반부 검사 시 관전압과 감도 변화에 따른 영상 화질과 방사선 출력의 안정성 평가 (Evaluation of Image Quality and Stability of Radiation Output according to Change in Tube Voltage and Sensitivity when Abdomen and Pelvis Examination of Digital Radiography (DR))

  • 본 연구는 자동노출제어장치 사용 시 파라미터 조합에 따른 영상 화질과 방사선 출력을 분석하여 임상에 적용할 수 있는 최적의 방법을 모색하고자 하였다. 실험방법은 관전압 70, 81 kVp와 자동노출제어장치(Automatic Exposure Control, AEC)의 감도 S200, S400, S800, S1000을 조합해서 복부와 골반부의 입사표면선량, 관전류량, 신호 대 잡음비(Signal to Noise Ratio, SNR), 대조도 대 잡음비(Contrast to Noise Ratio, CNR), 시간-방사선량 곡선을 구하였다. 그 후 영상 화질과 출력의 안정성을 평가하였다. 그 결과 입사표면선량, 관전류량, 신호 대 잡음비, 대조도 대 잡음비는 관전압과 감도가 높게 설정될수록 감소하였다. 또한 관전압과 감도가 높게 설정될수록 시간-방사선량 곡선은 출력의 안정성이 줄어드는 양상을 보였다. 결론적으로 복부와 골반부 검사 시 관전압과 감도를 높게 조합할수록 검출기는 영상 화질과 방사선 출력을 정상적으로 재현해내지 못하였다. 따라서 비교적 낮은 관전압과 감도를 조합하여 검출기가 파라미터의 조합을 인식할 때 발생하는 오차 범위를 최소화해야 영상 화질과 방사선 출력의 안정성을 최적화할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

Sensitivity Analysis of Width Representation for Gait Recognition

  • In this paper, we discuss a gait representation based on the width of silhouette in terms of discriminative power and robustness against the noise in silhouette image for gait recognition. Its sensitivity to the noise in silhouette image are rigorously analyzed using probabilistic noisy silhouette model. In addition, we develop a gait recognition system using width representation and identify subjects using the decision level fusion based on majority voting. Experiments on CASIA gait dataset A and the SOTON gait database demonstrate the recognition performance with respect to the noise level added to the silhouette image.

  • In the concurrent engineering, the CAD-based design model is necessary for multidisciplinary analysis and for computer-aided manufacturing (CAM). A shape and configuration design velocity field computation of structure has been developed using a computer-aided design (CAD) tool, Pro/ENGINEER. The design Parameterization with CAD tool is to characterize the change in dimensions and movements of geometric control points that govern the shape/orientation of the structural boundary. The boundary velocity is obtained by using a CAD-based finite difference method and the domain velocity field is obtained from finite element analysis (FEA) using the boundary displacement method. In this paper, the continuum configuration DSA for NVH problem, which requires the shape velocity field and the orientation velocity field at the same time, is developed using linear shape functions. For validation of continuum design sensitivity coefficients, design sensitivity coefficients are compared with the coefficients computed using by the finite difference method.

전기화학적 노이즈 저항 측정에서의 불확도 평가 (Uncertainty evaluation in electrochemical noise resistance measurement)

  • The uncertainty in statistical noise resistance measurement was evaluated for a type 316 stainless steel in NaCl solutions at room temperature. Sensitivity coefficients were determined for measurands or variables such as NaCl concentration, pH, solution temperature, surface roughness, inert gas flow rate and bias potential amplitude. The coefficients were larger for the variables such as NaCl concentration, pH, inert gas flow rate and solution temperature, and they were the major factors increasing the combined standard uncertainty of noise resistance. However, the contribution to the uncertainty in noise resistance measurement from the above variables was remarkably low compared to that from repeated measurements of noise resistance, and thus, it is difficult to lower the uncertainty in noise resistance measurement significantly by lowering the uncertainties related with NaCl concentration, pH, inert gas flow rate and solution temperature. In addition, the uncertainty in noise resistance measurement was high amounting to 17.3 % of the mean, indicating that the reliability in measurement of noise resistance is low.

신호탐지론을 활용한 조종사 Error 차이 분석 (Analysis of the Difference in Pilot Error by Using the Signal Detection Theory)

  • This study was to analyze the difference in pilot error by using the Signal Detection Theory. The task was to detect the targeted aircraft(signal) which is different shape from many other aircraft(noise). From the two experiments, we differentiated the task difficulty followed by change in noise stimuli. Experiment 1 was to search the signal stimuli(fighter plane) while the noise stimuli(cargo plane) were increasing. The results from the Experiment 1 showed the tendency to decrease the hit rate by increasing the number of noise stimuli. However, the false alarm rate was not increased. The sensitivity(d') showed quite high. In Experiment 2, a disturbance stimulus(helicopter) was added to noise stimuli. The result was generally similar to those of Experiment 1. However, the hit rate was lower than that of Experiment 1.
