히스 노이즈제거를 통한 아날로그의 디지털 복원에 대한 연구 - X-NOISE를 활용한 히스 노이즈리덕션을 중심으로 - (A Research on the Digital Restoration of the Analog by Removing Hiss Noise (Using X-NOISE Based on Hiss-Noise Reduction))

  • Analog cassette tapes are easily changed due to environmental factors. To digitize is the best way to preserve a sound source. The way to digitize is to deal with the original sound to be enhanced to a variety of sources by playing through the audio card after recording. In this process to occur, it's the most important to remove various noise and equalizing sound in a method for preserving. It's studied about how to remove noise by using one of softwares, Cubase 5. 5, to remove hiss noise, which happens changing analog tape into digitalization. A amount of hiss noise is reduced to use X-Noise software of Wave which uses in Cubase 5.0, one of PLUG-IN. The noise is removed changing value of threshold and reduction every 10 times in no change of origin sound. To keep regular condition, the experiment to remove the hiss noise is conducted based on sound meondle, which is one of sound Nonmaegi. The noise is removed easily when the value of threshold is getting high in spite of giving a little value of reduction. However, as it gives a amount of reduction high, the damage rate of the sound source gets high.

Statistical Model-Based Noise Reduction Approach for Car Interior Applications to Speech Recognition

  • This paper presents a statistical model-based noise suppression approach for voice recognition in a car environment. In order to alleviate the spectral whitening and signal distortion problem in the traditional decision-directed Wiener filter, we combine a decision-directed method with an original spectrum reconstruction method and develop a new two-stage noise reduction filter estimation scheme. When a tradeoff between the performance and computational efficiency under resource-constrained automotive devices is considered, ETSI standard advance distributed speech recognition font-end (ETSI-AFE) can be an effective solution, and ETSI-AFE is also based on the decision-directed Wiener filter. Thus, a series of voice recognition and computational complexity tests are conducted by comparing the proposed approach with ETSI-AFE. The experimental results show that the proposed approach is superior to the conventional method in terms of speech recognition accuracy, while the computational cost and frame latency are significantly reduced.

  • 스퀴드 자력계는 외부의 배경잡음원에 대해서 매우 민감하므로 뇌자도 신호 측정을 목적으로 하는 미세 자기신호 측정에서는 배경자기잡음을 충분히 제거해야 한다. 배경잡음 제거에 일반적으로 사용되는 소프트웨어적 방법으로는 합성 미분계 및 적응필터 방법이 있다. 본 논문에서는 뇌자도 측정용으로 개발한 37채널 스퀴드 자력계에서 합성 미분계 적응필터 및 주파수 영역 적응필터를 적용하여 각각의 배경잡음 제거 효과 및 각 방법의 장단점을 살펴보고, 임상 뇌자도 측정시 상기 방법들의 선택적 적용에 관하여 논의한다

음성 강화를 위한 a priori SNR 추정기반 적응 바람소리 저감 방법 (An Adaptive Wind Noise Reduction Method Based on a priori SNR Estimation for Speech Eenhancement)

  • This paper focuses on a priori signal to noise ratio (SNR) estimation method for the speech enhancement. There are many researches for speech enhancement with several ambient noise cancellation methods. The method based on spectral subtraction (SS) which is widely used in noise reduction has a trade-off between the performance and the distortion of the signals. So the need of adaptive method like an estimated a priori SNR being able to making a high performance and low distortion is increasing. The decision directed (DD) approach is used to determine a priori SNR in noisy speech signals. A priori SNR is estimated by using only the magnitude components and consequently follows a posteriori SNR with one frame delay. We propose a modified a priori SNR estimator and the weighted rational transfer function for speech enhancement with wind noises. The experimental result shows the performance of our proposed estimator is better Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality scores (PESQ, ITU-T P.862) compare to the conventional DD approach-based systems and different noise reduction methods.

실험 4단자정수를 이용한 저소음 흡기계의 강건 최적 설계 (The Robust Design of Low Noise Intake System with Experimental 4-poles)

  • Recently, regulations of the government and concerns of people give rise to the interest in exhaust and intake noise of passenger car as much as other vehicles. In these demands, performance prediction software with hybrid method was developed at first. Secondly, robust design was used for improving the noise reduction capacity of intake system with the performance prediction software. On the basis of the existing design, length and radios of each component that was thought to effect on the capacity of intake system was selected. The factors were arranged by using L18 table of orthogonal array and optimum value was obtained.

PCA를 적용한 결함 심각도 기반 차원 축소 모델 (Defect Severity-based Dimension Reduction Model using PCA)

  • 데이터의 차원축소는 요소들의 공통성을 파악해 영향력 있는 중요한 특징 요소를 추출하여 간소화함으로써 복잡함을 줄이고 다중 공선성 문제를 해결한다. 그리고 중복 및 노이즈 검출을 함으로써 불필요함을 줄인다. 이에 본 논문에서는 PCA(Prinicipal Component Analysis)을 적용한 결함 심각도 기반 차원 축소 모델을 제안한다. 제안된 모델은 결함 심각도가 있는 NASA 데이터 세트인 PC4에 적용하여 결함 심각도에 영향을 주는 속성의 차원수를 검증한다. 그 다음 데이터의 차원을 축소한 후 비교 분석한다. 실험결과, PC4의 적합한 차원수는 2~3개였고 그룹화를 통해 차원 축소가 가능한 것을 보였다.

  • Recently, many studies are performed according to increased interests about factory or room acoustics. In this study, the inside and environmental noise conditions of Diesel-locomotive load test building were investigated by multi-channel noise measurement system. In addition to this, the mitigation effects of environmental noise from this test building were analyzed using commercial software.

PET/MR 영상에서의 팬텀을 활용한 노이즈 감소를 위한 변형된 중간값 위너필터의 적용 효율성 연구 (Efficiency of Median Modified Wiener Filter Algorithm for Noise Reduction in PET/MR Images: A Phantom Study)

  • The digital image such as medical X-ray and nuclear medicine field mainly contains noise distribution. The noise degree in image degrades image quality. That is why, the noise reduction algorithm is efficient for medical image field. In this study, we confirmed effectiveness of application for median modified Wiener filter (MMWF) algorithm for noise reduction in PET/MR image compared with median filter image, which is used as conventional noise redcution algorithm. The Jaszczak PET phantom was used by using 18F solution and filled with NaCl+NiSO4 fluids. In addition, the radioactivity ratio between background and six spheres in the phantom is maintained to 1:8. In order to mimic noise distribution in the image, we applied Gaussian noise using MATLAB software. To evlauate image quality, the contrast to noise ratio (CNR) and coefficient of variation (COV) were used. According to the results, compared with noise image and images with MMWF algorithm, the image with MMWF algorithm is increased approximately 33.2% for CNR result, decreased approximately 79.3% for COV result. In conclusion, we proved usefulness of MMWF algorithm in the PET/MR images.
