  • Nodal displacements are referred to the Initial configuration in the total Lagrangian formulation and to the last converged configuration in the updated Lagrangian formulation. This research proposes a relative nodal displacement method to represent the position and orientation for a node in truss structures. Since the proposed method measures the relative nodal displacements relative to its adjacent nodal reference frame, they are still small for a truss structure undergoing large deformations for the small size elements. As a consequence, element formulations developed under the small deformation assumption are still valid fer structures undergoing large deformations, which significantly simplifies the equations of equilibrium. A structural system is represented by a graph to systematically develop the governing equations of equilibrium for general systems. A node and an element are represented by a node and an edge in graph representation, respectively. Closed loops are opened to form a spanning tree by cutting edges. Two computational sequences are defined in the graph representation. One is the forward path sequence that is used to recover the Cartesian nodal displacements from relative nodal displacements and traverses a graph from the base node towards the terminal nodes. The other is the backward path sequence that is used to recover the nodal forces in the relative coordinate system from the known nodal forces in the absolute coordinate system and traverses from the terminal nodes towards the base node. One closed loop structure undergoing large deformations is analyzed to demonstrate the efficiency and validity of the proposed method.

  • This study presents the evaluation process for door module. Its objective evades the resonance generated at module plate due to the operation of window regulator motor. For this study, the design improvement process is composed of experimental methods having three steps. First step is modal analysis at door assembly status for acquisition of dynamic characteristics which are modal frequency and damping. Second step is a vibration experiment to get the test mode considered an efficiency of window regulator motor. Last step is a vibration measurement by the form of $6{\times}6$ array on module plate. A vibration measurement of 6x6 array form can be got to three analysis results which are a transfer path of vibration using cross correlation function, a vibration map using OA level and a contribution by frequency band using coherent output power spectrum on module plate. These results are applied to SDM(structural dynamic modification) for design improvement to get around the resonance on module plate by the excitation of window regulator motor.

  • This paper describes the development process of high stiffness body for ride and handling performance. High stiffness and light weight vehicle is a major target in the refinement of Passenger cars to meet customers' contradictable requirements between ride and handling performance and fuel economy This paper describes the analysis approach process for high stiffness body through the data level of body stiffness. According to the frequency band. we can suggest the design guideline about lg cornering static stiffness, torsional and lateral stiffness, body attachment stiffness. The ride and handling characteristic of a vehicle Is significantly affected by vibration transferred to the body through the chassis mounting points from front and rear suspension. It is known that body attachment stiffness is an important factor of ride and handling performance improvement. And high stiffness helps to improve the flexibility of bushing rate tuning between handling and road noise. It makes possible to design the good handling performance vehicle and save vehicles to be used in tests by using mother car at initial design stage. These improvements can lead to shortening the time needed to develop better vehicles.

  • 본 논문에서는 본 논문의 제1부에서 다룬 디지털 통신시스템인 ASK, QAM, CPSK, DPSK, FSK 및 MSK 시스템이 가우스성잡음 및 임펄스성잡음만이 아니라 페이딩으로부터 영향을 받았을 때의 오율에 관한 식을 유도하여 반송파 전력대 잡음전력의 비(CNR), 임펄스지수 및 임펄스성 잡음전력 대 가우스서 잡음전력 비 뿐만 아니라 페이딩 지수 등을 함수로 하여 각각의 시스템의 성능을 구하고 이를 비교하였다. 해석결과, 제1부의 결과와는 달리 신호가 강한 페이딩을 받았을 때는 임펄스성 잡음의 영향보다 가우스성잡음의 영향이 크다는 것을 알 수 있었고 시스템의 비교에서는 약한 페이딩에서나 강한 페이딩 모두에 있어서 위상변조시스템의 성능이 가장 양호하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

주변고정 장방형 평판에 있어서 임의점 가진에 의한 고체전파음의 예측 (An estimate of structure-borne sound by the excitation at an arbitrary point on the rectangular plate with fixed edges)

  • Machinery enclosures are widely adopted to reduce the noise emission in various fields of application. Emitted noise, which is due to the vibration of enclosure's outer surface, is composed of two kinds of sound with different path of propagation. One is the "structure-borne sound", while the other is "air-borne sound". In order to get a most efficient machinery enclouser a prudent consideration upon the above structure-borne and air-borne sound is required, as the guiding principle of contermeasure for each noise is quite different. The controlling of input vibration and its isolation are major subjects for the structure-borne sound, and the specifications of absorbing members and damping panels are the major related matters for the air-borne sound. Hence, it seems very efficient to separate the total sounds into two categories with a great accuracy when one think of further reduction of noise from the existing enclosure, although its separating methods have not been made clear for many years. Author proposes an application method of experimental modal analysis to extract the structure-borne sound from the measured total radiation sound, as the air-borne sound is deduced by the vectorial difference between the measured total radiation sound and the calculated structure-borne sound. In order to calculate the correct structure-borne sound by the excitation at an arbitrary point on the enclosure structure, it is important to decide 1) how to estimate the enclosure's surface vibration velocity and 2) how to compute the radiation sound which is considered as the effect of vibration modes of enclosure surface. The former can be solved with total frequency response function calculated by the application of experimental modal analysis. The latter is to be solved by the author's new approaches for radiation sound computation by means of the Rayleigh's integral equation and the boundary-element method applied complex surface vibration velocity. As a first step, structure-borne sound by the excitation at an arbitry point on the rectangular plate with fixed edges, has been calculated to verified the reliability of the developed computation methods. The results of calculation show good agreements with those of the actual measurements.actual measurements.

  • 본 연구에서는 소음에 대한 이론적 연구와 도로교통소음에 관하여 살펴보았다. 그리고 국내의 도로소음예측모델을 다른 선진국의 모델과 비교 분석하여 예측인자의 적용현황 및 적용상의 문제점을 도출하였다. 일반식 정립을 위한 사례연구에서는 국립환경연구원에서 제안한 식에 적용한 예측치와 실측치를 비교하여 국내의 도로교통소음 예측모델의 개선점을 살펴보았다. 또한 소음에 대한 통행량과 속도의 관계를 고찰해보기 위해서, 이 식에서 주요 요인으로 사용한 통행량과 속도의 두 요인 중에서 무엇이 더 큰 영향을 가지는지를 회귀분석을 통하여 속도가 통행량보다 더 밀접한 관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 도로소음을 줄이기 위해서는 차량의 통행량의 고려도 중요하지만 차량의 속도 규제가 더욱 중요하다고 볼 수 있다. 지구보정치 도출을 위한 사례연구에서는 도로교통소음이 단지내에 공간적으로 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 세 아파트 단지의 도로교통소음을 측정하여 비교 분석함으로써 도로교통소음은 단지내에 평면적 입체적으로 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다. 즉, 소음원에서 거리가 멀어질수록 소음의 크기가 적어지고, 높은 위치로 올라갈수록 소음의 크기는 증가하다가 어느 정도 높이 이상에서는 다시 소음의 크기는 줄어들고, 소음의 방향에 장애물이 있을 경우 소음의 영향이 줄어들었다. 따라서 단지내에 소음이 미치는 영향을 이러한 점들을 고려하여 공간적으로 파악한 단지 설계를 해야 한다.

  • This paper presents optimal design procedures of mount based on a magnetorheological (MR) fluid to isolate the vibration in heavy diesel engine system. At first, frequency response and force-displacement transmissibility methods are used to get required damping force that is necessary for effective vibration isolation. From this result, a new type of high damping force engine mount is proposed and the governing equation of Bingham plastic behavior of MR fluid in flow path is mathematically derived under cylindrical coordinates. Finally, parametric design optimization featuring finite element is performed using ANSYS software to get the required damping force in MR mount system which can be used to reduce engine vibration. Damping force of the MR mount is then determined as an objective function in this analysis based on ANSYS. Furthermore, Magnetic analysis is then applied in this process.
