In this paper we challenge the mobile node Authentication using Java Card authentication protocol in Ad-hoc network environment. Ad-hoc network is a collection of wireless mobile nodes without the support of a stationary infrastructure. and DSR routing protocol, which is one of famous mobile ad-hoc rooting protocols, has the following network path problem. this paper is the security structure that defined in a mobile network and security and watches all kinds of password related technology related to the existing authentication system. It looks up weakness point on security with a problem on the design that uses Ad-hoc based structure and transmission hierarchical security back of a mobile network, and a server-client holds for user authentication of an application level all and all, and it provides one counterproposal. Java Card Authentication of mobile node can possibly be applied to the area of M-Commerce, Wireless Security, and Ubiquitous Computing and so on.
A Mobile IPv6 services exposes its vulnerability when a mobile node is roaming the subnets belonging to the different domains. The AAA infrastructure is strongly recommended when the ISPs need to authenticate the mobile user comes from the different domains. In addition to the basic requirements for the AAA service, the authentication latency and AAA message overhead should be minimized for the continuity of the mobile service. This paper considers the roaming service with AAA infrastructure in Mobile IPv6 and proposes an authentication scheme using delegation to authenticate the mobile node with effective manner. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is confirmed using the cost analysis. The result shows at least 50% of performance enhancement when the MN is roaming fast under the control of the delegation.
Recently, there are many researches on security to remove vulnerability which is caused by wireless communication in wireless sensor networks. To guarantee secure communication, we should basically provide key management for each node, mutual authentication and key agreement protocol between two nodes. Although many protocols are presented to supply these security services, some of them require plentiful storage memory, powerful computation and communication capacity. In this paper, we propose a lightweight and efficient authentication and key agreement protocol between two sensor nodes, which is an enhanced version of Juang's scheme. In Juang's protocol, sensor node's information used to share a secret key should be transmitted to registration center via a base station. On the contrary, since node's information in our protocol is transmitted up to only base station, the proposed scheme can decrease computation and communication cost for establishing the shared key between two nodes.

In contrast with conventional networks, mobile ad hoc networks usually do not provide online access to trusted authorities or to centralized servers, and they exhibit frequent partitioning due to link and node failures and node mobility. For these reasons, traditional security solutions that require online trusted authorities or certificate repositories, but those are not well-suited for securing ad hoc networks. Moreover, a fundamental issue of securing mobile ad hoc networks is to ensure mobile nodes can authenticate each other. Because of its strength and efficiency, public key and digital signature is an ideal mechanism to construct the authentication service. Although this is already mature in the internet application, providing public key based authentication is still very challenging in mobile ad hoc networks. In this paper I propose a secure public key authentication service based on clustering model and trust model to protect nodes from getting false public keys of the others efficiently when there are malicious nodes in the network.

This paper proposes a new security system to detect cyber-attacks based on message authentication in a in-vehicle network. In the in-vehicle network, when a sending node transmits messages in a broadcast manner, it only uses a message identifier, rather than a node's identifier. It leads to a problem not identifying the source. In the proposed system, the sending node generates a message authentication code (MAC) using a cryptographic hash function to the control data and transmits it with the control data. When generating the MAC for each message, a multidimensional chaotic map is applied to increase the randomness of the result. The receiving node compares its MAC generated from the control data in the received message with the MAC of the received message to detect whether the message transmitted from the sending node is forged or not. We evaluate the performance of the proposed system by using CANoe and CAPL (Communication Access Programming Language). Our system shows a 100% of detection rate against cyber-attacks injected.
Blockchain technology provides a decentralized and peer-to-peer network, which has the advantages of transparency and immutability. In this paper, a novel secure authentication scheme applying digital holography to blockchain technology is proposed to protect privacy information in network nodes. The transactional information of the node is chained permanently and immutably in the blockchain to ensure network security. By designing a novel two-dimensional (2D) array data structure of the block, a proof of work (PoW) in the blockchain is executed through digital holography technology to verify true authentication and legal block linkage. A hash generated from the proposed algorithm reveals a random number of 2D array data. The real identity of each node in the network cannot be forged by a hacker's tampering because the privacy information of the node is encrypted using digital holography and stored in the blockchain. The reliability and feasibility of the proposed scheme are analyzed with the help of the research results, which evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Forgery by a malicious node is impossible with the proposed method by rejecting a tampered transaction. The principal application is a secure anonymity system guaranteeing privacy information protection for handling of large information.

Mobile computing system requires both precise identification and secure authentication scheme on remote mobile entities, which is based on the distributed mobile node. In this paper, existing discrete logarithm based $Schnorr^{[7]}$ like entity authentication schemes are improved by the analysis of performance and security on the hi-directional interactive proofs. And $EIGamal^{[14]}$ like efficient authentication schemes are also proposed. Then, these are enhanced with oblivious transfer based mono directional authentication schemes based on trusted third party for applying to the mobile agent based computing systems. Therefore, proposed schemes provide compatible performance and safety on mobile entity authentication processes.

Various researchers conducted the research on two-factor authentication suitable for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) after Das first proposed two-factor authentication combining the smart card and password. After then, To improve the security of user authentication, elliptic curve cryptography(ECC)-based authentication protocols have been proposed. Jiang et al. proposed a privacy-aware two-factor authentication protocol based on ECC for WSM for resolving various problems of ECC-based authentication protocols. However, Jiang et al.'s protocol has the vulnerabilities on a lack of mutual authentication, a risk of SID modification and a lack of sensor anonymity, and user's ID exposed on sensor node Therefore, this paper proposed security enhanced privacy-aware two-factor authentication protocol for wireless sensor networks to solve the problem of Jiang et al.'s protocol, and security analysis was conducted for the proposed protocol.

Earlier researches on Sensor Networks preferred symmetric key-based authentication schemes in consideration of limitations in network resources. However, recent advancements in cryptographic algorithms and sensor-node manufacturing techniques have opened suggestion to public key-based solutions such as Merkle tree-based schemes. This paper proposes a new concept of public key-based authentication using Polynomial Secret Sharing that can be effectively applied to sensor networks and a detection of malicious node using the hash function. This scheme is based on exponential distributed data concept, a derivative from Shamir's (t,n) threshold scheme, in which the authentication of neighbouring nodes are done simultaneously while minimising resources of sensor nodes and providing network scalability.

In this paper, we propose a handoff method supporting LBS (Location Based Services) Information in mobile clouding environment. In mobile clouding computing, handoff delay and re-authentication is occurred. A mobile node needs re-authentication procedure from cloud server whenever it arrives new AP. But Using of location information of node enables to reduce delay time due to re-authentication. To reduce re-authentication delay time, proposed method stores location information of APs on WiFi based location server to complement. GPS-based technology which can't receive satellite signal in indoor and then node collects location information of AP at handoff time. And also enables to process LBS without increasing handoff delay by splitting the process of handoff from process of requesting location information. For analysis of proposed method, We analyze handoff delay and location information process time and have compared previous handoff method in cloud environment. We confirmed that proposed method shows lower delay time without increasing LBS process time than previous method because node receives location information from location information server when handoff is occurred.
