Spatial and seasonal variations in hydrogeochemical characteristics and the factors affecting the deterioration in quality of shallow portable groundwater in an agricultural area are examined. The aquifer consists of (from the surface to depth) agricultural soil, weathered soil, weathered rock, and bedrock. The geochemical signatures of the shallow groundwater are mostly affected by the NO₃⁻ and Cl⁻ contaminants that show a gradual downward increase in concentration from the upper area, due to the irregular distribution of contamination sources. The concentrations of the major cations do not varied with the elapsed time and the NO₃⁻ and Cl⁻ ions, when compared with concentrations in background groundwater, increase gradually with the distance from the upper area. This result suggests that the water quality in shallow groundwater deteriorates due to contaminant sources at the surface. The contaminations of the major contaminants in groundwater show a positive linear relationship with electrical conductivity, indicating the deterioration in water quality is related to the effects of the contaminants. The relationships between contaminant concentrations, as inferred from the ternary plots, show the contaminant concentrations in organic fertilizer are positively related to concentrations of NO₃⁻, Cl⁻, and SO₄²⁻ ions in the shallow portable groundwaters, which means the fertilizer is the main contaminant source. The results also show that the deterioration in shallow groundwater quality is caused mainly by NO₃⁻ and Cl⁻ derived from organic fertilizer with additional SO₄²⁻ contaminant from livestock wastes. Even though the concentrations of the contaminants within the shallow groundwaters and the contaminant sources are largely variable, it is useful to consider the ratio of contaminant concentrations and the relationship between contaminants in groundwater samples and in the contaminant source when analyzing deterioration in water quality.

Since the beginning of the 90's, Fashion shows appear to be a type of performance form of art combining with other areas to visually entertain the viewers. This can be explained by the modern tendency to escape from society which requires formality and complicated lifestyles. Fashion shows take place in a scene Influenced by the idea of post-modernism which redefines the definition of space. A church, old factory, unoccupied ground, subway stations, or even place like a waste disposal are used as a setting. The stage set is no longer the T shape run way and the procinium arch has disappeared. The gap between audience and stage has diminished and theatrical element is added to the fashion performance by using viewers living and working environments as setting of the show. The human relation with machine based on the cutting edge technology such as the stage automation, robots and mist making sprinkler system introduces new elements with spontaneity and detailed planning in the stage performance. Music also plays an Important role in attracting viewers. The sound track covers house music to techno music. Instead of music being abstract, folks orchestral music, choirs, piano. even live concert performed by pop artist provide the liveliness of the fashion show. And the catwalk itself is a performance. Model needs to be well trained as the capable talent who can handle sensitive gestures, facial expressions, dancing and choreography. The improvisatorial interaction between audience and model lead to audience participation. Models now range from pop star, ordinary people, handicapped people, to elderly and so on. John Galliano introduced the theatrical factors for the fashion show and Alexander Mcqueen approached the fashion show as the visual art of communication. Hussein Chalayan utilized high technology skewing futurism as if in a magic show. Today the Fashion show tends to be a total performance which includes audience participation, impromptu, and that break the limitation that fashion shows previously had. This will lead the fashion industry in opening new horizon of its own.

This study investigates relative density test of standard sand and bottom ash which were devided into No.40, No.60, No.100, No.200 and resonant column tests were conducted for samples with the relative density of 40%, 55%, and 70% on the basis of the test results. Resonant column tests were also conducted for each residual bottom ash which contains the passing sample of No.200 with the relative density of 55%. By compressing each residual sample with the compaction energy of A-compact mold test, the passing percentage of No.200 sieve increased up to 30%, which led to the adjustment of relative density to 10%, 20%, and 30%. Test results show that maximum shear modulus and damping ratio of bottom ash are smaller than those of standard sand because crushing strength and unit weight of the former are smaller than those of the latter.

This paper proposes a novel dynamically reconfigurable switch for various multimedia applications in hybrid NoC systems. Current NoC systems, which adopt hybrid NoC structure with fixed switch and job distribution algorithms, require designers to precisely predict the property of applications to be processed. This paper proposes a reconfigurable switch which minimizes buffer overflow in various multimedia applications running on an NoC system. To verify the performance of the proposed system, we performed experiments on various multimedia applications running on embedded systems, such as MPEG4 and MP3 decoder, GPS positioning system, and OFDM demodulator. Experimental results show that buffer overflow has been decreased by 41.8% and 29.0%, respectively, when compared with NoC systems having sub-clusters with mesh or star topology. Power usage has been increased by 2.3% compared with hybrid NoC systems using fixed switches, and chip area has been increased from -0.6% to 5.7% depending on sub-cluster topology.

Here we introduce and study vector bundles, E, on a smooth projective curve X having many "spread" sections and for which $E^{*}\;{\otimes}{\omega}X$ has many "spread" sections. We show that no such bundle exists on X if the gonality of X is too low.

A tuning method for the conventional PID controller in a two-input two-output multivariable system presented. The system is assumed to be no disturbances and modelling errors. Simulation studies show that controller can provide excellent tuning for highly interacting or unfavorable processes.
