동재하시험을 통한 선단이 암반에 근입된 초고강도 매입 PHC 말뚝의 지지력 특성 분석 (Analysis of Bearing Capacity of Rock Socketed Pre-Bored Super Strength Piles Based on Dynamic Load Test Results)

  • 본 연구에서는 동재하시험을 통해 매입공법으로 선단이 암반에 근입된 초고강도 PHC 말뚝의 지지력 특성을 분석하였다. 초고강도 PHC 말뚝은 일반 고강도 PHC 말뚝에 비해 콘크리트의 강도가 높아 허용구조내력을 향상시킬 수 있었다. 초고강도 PHC 말뚝의 최적 설계를 위해서는 지반지지력도 증가된 구조내력과 균형을 맞출 수 있도록 증가되어야 할 것이다. 오늘날, 지반지지력 검증을 위한 동재하시험 시 경험적으로 고강도 PHC 말뚝과 유사한 항타에너지를 초고강도 PHC 말뚝에 적용하고 있는 실정이다. 동재하시험 결과를 기반으로 초고강도 PHC 말뚝의 지지력에 영향을 미치는 요소들을 분석한 결과, 선단지지력에 대해 선단 주변지반의 표준관입시험 N값의 영향은 미미하였으며, 항타에너지가 증가할수록 선단지지력이 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 그러나 주면마찰력의 경우, 항타에너지의 증가에 따른 변화가 나타나지 않았다. 또한, 허용지지력을 판단하는 Restrike 시험시 선단지지력의 영향은 극히 작아 허용지지력 판단시 합리적인 방안이 필요하다.

The effect of coloring liquid dipping time on the fracture load and color of zirconia ceramics

  • PURPOSE. The aims of the study were to evaluate the fracture load of zirconia core material after dipping in coloring liquid at different time intervals and to compare the color of dipped blocks with that of prefabricated shaded blocks. MATERIALS AND METHODS. 3-unit bridge frameworks were designed digitally. Sixty frameworks were fabricated using uncolored zirconia blocks by CAD/CAM and divided into 4 groups randomly (n = 15). Group 2 (G2) was subjected to coloring liquids for 2 minutes, Group 4 (G4) for 4 minutes, and Group 6 (G6) for 6 minutes. CFS group was not subjected to any coloring procedure. After coloring, color differences between the test groups and a prefabricated shaded zirconia group (CPZ, n = 15) were evaluated by using a spectrophotometer. Fracture test was conducted immediately after shade evaluation with a Testometric test device at a cross-head speed of 1 mm/sec. Statistical analysis for evaluating color and fracture load was performed by using one way ANOVA followed by Tukey HSD test ($P{\leq}.05$). Weibull analysis was conducted for distribution of fracture load. RESULTS. There was no difference in terms of fracture load and color between CFS (1176.681 N) and G2 (985.638 N) group and between CPZ (81.340) and G2 (81.140) group, respectively. Fracture load values of G4 (779.340 N) and G6 (935.491 N) groups were statistically significantly lower than that of CFS group ($P{\leq}.005$). The color values of G4 (79.340) and G6 (79.673) groups were statistically different than that of CPZ group ($P{\leq}.005$). CONCLUSION. Prolonged immersion of zirconia in coloring liquid not only negatively affected the fracture load of the zirconia being tested in the current study but also deteriorated the desired shade of the restoration.

컨테이너 크레인의 전산유동해석과 풍동실험에 의한 풍하중 분석 (Wind Load Analysis owing to the Computation Fluid Dynamics and Wind Tunnel Test of a Container Crane)

  • 컨테이너 크레인은 강풍으로부터 보호를 받기 위한 차폐물이 없는 곳에 존재하기 때문에 이상 기후 조건에 취약성이 있는 구조물이다. 본 연구에서는 붐 각도의 변화에 따라 풍동실험과 전산유동 해석을 사용하여 컨테이너 크레인의 구조물에 대한 풍하중의 영향을 수행하였다. 그리고 75m/s의 풍속을 컨테이너 크레인에 적용하였다고 가정하였을 때 컨테이너 크레인의 풍력 내구성 설계에 사용되는 데이터를 컨테이너 크레인 설계자에게 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 건축물 하중기준의 풍하중 설계기준에 따라 풍하중을 적용하였으며 풍향에 따른 영향을 분석하기 위해서 유동장을 $10^{\circ}$ 간격으로 분할하였다. 이를 바탕으로 풍동실험과 전산 유동해석을 수행하였으며 얻어진 결과들을 비교 연구함으로써 컨테이너 크레인의 구조설계에 필요한 풍하중을 분석하였다.

압축기출구에 공기분사가 터보과급 디젤기관의 성능에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Injected Air into the Compressor Exit for the Performances of a Turbocharged Diesel Engine)

  • For the purpose of improving performances of a turbocharged diesel engine at low speed, this study investigates the effects of the injected air for the performances and flow characteristics in the intake and exhaust pipes by using the computer simulation with test bed. In the theoretical analysis, the whole flow system, including engine cylinders and intake and exhaust pipes, is calculated numerically by the method of filling and emptying. From the results of this study, the following conclusions may be summarized. Increasing injected air pressure into the pipe of compressor exit brings about the improvement in a performance and flow characteristics of intake and exhaust pipes under full load operating conditions at 1000 rpm of the engine speed, but shows trends of the inferior performances under no load operating conditions at 2000 rpm of the engine speed.

비모수 경향분석법 적용을 통한 금강수계 총량관리 단위유역의 수질변화 연구 (A Study on the Water Quality Changes of TMDL Unit Watershed in Guem River Basin Using a Nonparametric Trend Analysis)

  • In order to assess the effect of TMDLs management and improve that in the future, it is necessary to analyze long-term changes in water quality during management period. Therefore, long term trend analysis of BOD was performed on thirty monitoring stations in Geum River TMDL unit watersheds. Nonparametric trend analysis method was used for analysis as the water quality data are generally not in normal distribution. The monthly median values of BOD during 2004~2010 were analyzed by Seasonal Mann-Kendall test and LOWESS(LOcally WEighted Scatter plot Smoother). And the effect of Total Maximum Daily Loads(TMDLs) management on water quality changes at each unit watershed was analyzed with the result of trend analysis. The Seasonal Mann-Kendall test results showed that BOD concentrations had the downward trend at 10 unit watersheds, upward trend at 4 unit watersheds and no significant trend at 16 unit watersheds. And the LOWESS analysis showed that BOD concentration began to decrease after mid-2009 at almost all of unit watersheds having no trend in implementation plan watershed. It was estimated that TMDLs improved water quality in Geum River water system and the improvement of water quality was made mainly in implementation plan unit watershed and tributaries.

최대운동부하시 정상인과 만성요통환자의 심폐계 반응에 대한 비교연구 (A comparative study on the cardiovascular function response to maximal exercise of chronic low back pain patients and normal group)

  • This study is aimed to determine the cardiovascular function response to maximal exercise of chronic low back pain patients(N=13) and normal group(N=13). by using BRUCE PROTOCOL, subjects underwent tredmill exercise test. Their cardiovascular function responses during rest and after maximal exercise were compared The responses were analyzed using t-test for SPSS 7.0 program. The Cardiovascular function variables employed at rest time(Vo2, HR. Vo2/kg, VE, Vco2.) and all out time(Vo2peak. HRpeak, Vo2peak/kg, VEpeak. Vco2peak). Result show that : 1 There was no significant difference in Vo2 between chronic low back pain patients and normal group at rest time. However significant difference in Volpeak was observed after maximal exercise( p<.05). 2. There was no significant difference in HR between chronic low back pain patients and normal group at rest time. No significant difference in HRpeak likewise observed. 3. There was no significant difference in Vo2/kg between chronic low back pain patients and normal group at rest time. However significant difference in Vo2peak/kg was observed after maximal exercise load(p<.05). 4. There was no significance in VE between chronic low bark pain patients and normal group at rest time. However significant difference in VEpeak observed after maximal exercise load(p<.05).

국내에서 생산된 파티클보드의 나사못 유지력 예측 (Predicting the Screw Withdrawal Load of Commercial Particleboard Manufactured in Korea)

  • 국내에서 생산된 파티클보드에 대한 나사못 유지력을 기존의 식으로부터 수정 보완된 예측 식으로 나타내기 위해 나사못 유지력실험을 실시했다. 본 연구에 사용된 나사못은 No. 6, No. 8 및 No. 10이었다. 나사못 유지력의 예측 식은 나사못의 직경과 관입길이, 파티클보드의 비중 및 IB의 함수로 나타냈다. 예측 식은 길이가 서로 다른 No. 8 나사못의 실험결과와 상당히 일치하였다. 파티클보드에 대한 실험결과들과 표면에서 나사못 유지력의 예측 값은 비중보다 IB가 더 좋은 예측인자였고, 측면에서는 IB보다 비중이 더 일치하였다.

진동 및 전압 철근 콘크리트관의 종.횡단배수관 적용성 검토에 관한 연구 (Study on the possible application of Vibrated and Rolled reinforced concrete pipe to vertical.crossing water distribution system)

  • In case of carrying out vortical crossing water distribution system in expressways or general roads construction, VR(Vibrated and Rolled reinforced concrete) pipes are restricted because of their specification of reinforced spun concrete pipe or on-site made pipe. Therefore, in order to apply VR pipes to those constructions, through the structural behavior experiments of the pipes, VR pipes are compared and verified with reinforced spun concrete pipe and the results are obtained as the following. From the experiments and analyses of Pipe Stiffness(PS) of the pipes, cracking loading is approved to satisfy the KS regulations. Through a direct load test, the cracking loading strength and the maximum load test of VR pipe is larger compared with reinforced spun concrete pipe. Particularly, even if side weld is thin, there is no little change in the cracking strength of VR pipe. The results of the direct load test analysis show that the structural behavior of VR pipe is equivalent or higher compared with reinforced spun concrete pipe in performance and VR pipe could be used as the water distribution pipe for roads. In this study, through pipe stiffness, direct load test and load teat on earth, reinforced spun concrete pipe and VR pipe are compared. And as a result, the structural behavior of VR pipe is comprehensively excellent. From the structural behavior tests, VR pipe's section shows more thickness and has uniform characteristics so that VR pipe is considered more favorable than reinforced spun concrete pipe.

수평재하시험 역해석을 통한 수평지반반력계수 산정 (Estimation of Coefficient of Horizontal Subgrade Reaction by the Inverse Analysis on the Lateral Load Test Results)

  • 수평하중을 받는 말뚝의 해석에서 수평지반반력계수($k_h$)의 결정이 중요하나 시간과 비용 등의 문제로 기존의 제안식을 이용하여 수평지반반력계수를 산정하고 있어 말뚝기초의 거동을 상이하게 평가하고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 수평재하시험결과를 이용한 Chang 방법 및 수치해석 역해석 방법으로 수평지반반력계수를 산정하여 기존 제안식과의 상관성을 비교 분석하여 적정성 및 신뢰성을 규명하였다. 수평재하시험에 의한 수평지반반력계수 분석결과는 Chang 방법으로 산정된 값이 역해석에 의한 방법에 비해 과소평가 되었다. 그리고 도로교 표준시방서 방법으로 산정 시 지반의 변형계수는 Eo${\fallingdotseq}$1,400~1,600N 적용하는 경우 수평재하시험에 의한 수평지반반력계수와 유사한 범위를 가지는 것으로 확인되었다.

자동차 배터리 지지 구조의 진동 피로 해석에 대한 연구 (Study on Vibration Fatigue Analysis of Automotive Battery Supporter)

  • In this paper, the vibration load and analysis results for automotive battery supporter were performed to provide efficient vibration tolerance performance prediction methods for single-product vibration tolerance testing, and the major influencing factors and considerations for setting up single-unit vibration tolerance tests were reviewed. A common applicable standard load was applied to efficiently predict the performance of single-unit vibrations through the frequency response analysis technique. The results similar to test results can be predicted by checking vulnerable parts of the vehicle components for vibration loads and applying scale factor to standard loads. In addition, it was confirmed that the test conditions with a frequency generating the same durability severity as the endurance test are needed for accurate prediction of the durability of the single-unit vibration tolerance test conditions, and the acceleration and frequency with the conditions that there is no significant nonlinear phenomena in the vibration system are established during the single-unit vibration tolerance test conditions.
