저장탄수화물과 질소의 월동성과 재생활력에 대한 이용성 I. 저온처리가 유채 ( Brassica napus L. ) 의 생육 , 질소 및 비구조성 탄수화물의 총 함량에 미치는 영향 (Partitioning of Carbon and Nitrogen Reserves During Winter Adaptation and Spring Regrowth I. Effects of temperature on growth, total content of nitrogen and non-structureal carbohydrate in forage rape(Brassica napus L.))

  • The objective of this study is to obtain the basic data for investigating the effects of organic reserves on winter survial or regrowth yield. Dry matter, nitrogen and non-structural carbohydrate content of plants grown under $5^{\circ}C$ or $20^{\circ}C$ of culture temperature during 25 days were investigated. The dry matter content of leaves and roots were significantly reduced under $5^{\circ}C$ compared with $20^{\circ}C$culture condition. Comparing with the dry matter per plant under $20^{\circ}C$, those in leaves and roots under $5^{\circ}C$ decreased to 25% and 10%, respectively, after 25 days of temperature treatment. Total nitrogen content in leaves under $20^{\circ}C$ and $5^{\circ}C$ increased to 68% and 39% compared to the initial lenel(day O), respectively, during 25 days after temperature treatment, Nitrogen content in roots highly increased under 5 C while there was a little change under $20^{\circ}C$ condition. The nitrogen contents in roots under $5^{\circ}C$ and $20^{\circ}C$ were 39.0 and 30.8mgJg DM, respectively, after 25 days of temperature treatment. Total contents of soluble carbohydrate in both leaves and roots under $5^{\circ}C$ were higher than those under $20^{\circ}C$ condition. After 25 days of temperature treatment under$5^{\circ}C$ , their contents in leaves and roots were 1.4 and 2.0 times higher than those of under $20^{\circ}C$ condition. Stach atent in roots under $20^{\circ}C$ was less changed, while thatof under $5^{\circ}C$ greatly increased from 64.8 to 178.7mglg DM duling 25 days. 'Ihese results clearly showed that an accumulation of both nitrogen and non-structural carbohydrate in the plants occured under low temperature condition.e condition.

대두의 토양산도에 따른 질소반응 연구 I. 토양 및 양액의 산도와 질소시용량이 콩의 근류착생, Allantoin 태질소 및 전질소함량에 미치는 영향 (Studies on the Varietal Response of Soybeans to Nitrogen Application level Under the Different Soil Acidity I.   • 토양 및 양액의 산도와 질소시용이 대두의 근류착생과 식물체중의 allantoin태질소 및 전질소함량과 주요무기성분함량에 미치는 영향을 구명하여 산도에 따른 질소반응을 밝히기 위하여 장백콩과 두엽콩을 시험하여 산도를 산성(pH 5)과 중성(pH 7) 조건으로 하고 질소시용량을 4수준으로 하여 양액재배 및 포장시험을 실시하였는데 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 근류의 착생은 산성조건에서 적었고 질소증시에 의하여 감소하는 경향이었는데 무질소구는 표준질소구보다 떨어졌으며 특히 근류의 건물중은 중성조건에서 질소증시에 의하여 현저히 감소하였다. 2. 식물체중의 allantoin 태 질소함량은 엽보다 줄기중에 현저히 많았는데 산성조건과 질소증시에 의하여 감소하였고 특히 중성조건에서 질소증시에 의한 allantoin 태 질소함량의 감소가 현저하였으며 이와같은 경향은 단엽콩에서 더욱 현저하게 나타났다. 3. 근류의 착생정도는 식물체중의 allantoin 태 질소함량과 유의적인 상관관계를 나타내었다. 4. 식물체중의 전질소함량은 pH가 낮은 산성조건에서 감소하였고 질소증시에 의하여 증가하였는데 그 정도는 산성조건에서 현저하였고 특히 장백콩에서 잘 나타났다. 5. 식물체중의 K, Ca, MG, Mn 등의 함량도 산성조건에서 감소하였고 칼리함량은 질소시용량의 증가에 의하여 감소하는 경향이었다. 6. 상성조건에 의한 근류의 착생, 식물체중의 allantoin 태질소 및 전질소함량 등의 감소정도는 단엽콩에 비하여 장백콩에서 적게 나타나 내산성 품종의 특성을 나타내었다.

Combined effect of initial biomass density and nitrogen concentration on growth and astaxanthin production of Haematococcus pluvialis (Chlorophyta) in outdoor cultivation

  • Nitrogen availability and cell density each affects growth and cellular astaxanthin content of Haematococcus pluvialis, but possible combined effects of these two factors on the content and productivity of astaxanthin, especially under outdoor culture conditions, is less understood. In this study, the effects of the initial biomass densities IBDs of 0.1, 0.5, 0.8, 1.5, 2.7, 3.5, and 5.0 g $L^{-1}$ DW and initial nitrogen concentrations of 0, 4.4, 8.8, and 17.6 mM nitrate on growth and cellular astaxanthin content of H. pluvialis Flotow K-0084 were investigated in outdoor glass column photobioreactors in a batch culture mode. A low IBD of 0.1 g $L^{-1}$ DW led to photo-bleaching of the culture within 1-2 days. When the IBD was 0.5 g $L^{-1}$ and above, the rate at which the increase in biomass density and the astaxanthin content on a per cell basis was higher at lower IBD. When the IBD was optimal (i.e., 0.8 g $L^{-1}$), the maximum astaxanthin content of 3.8% of DW was obtained in the absence of nitrogen, whereas the maximum astaxanthin productivity of 16.0 mg $L^{-1}\;d^{-1}$ was obtained in the same IBD culture containing 4.4 mM nitrogen. The strategies for achieving maximum Haematococcus biomass productivity and for maximum cellular astaxanthin content are discussed.

질소시비 수준이 Italian Ryegrass의 질산염 축적에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Nitrogen Fertilization on Nitrate Accumulation in Italian Ryegrass)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of levels of nitrogen fertilizer on the nitrate accumulation in Italian ryegrass. Italian ryegrass was grown at the experimental field, College of Agriculture, Chonnam National University, Kwangju from September, 29, 1987 to June, 24, 1988. The experiment was arranged as a randomized complete block design with three treatment(2.5, 7.5 and 15kg-NIlOa). The results obtained are summarized as follow; Nitrate nitrogen content of the stem, leaves and whole was increased as increasing nitrogen fertilizer(P< 0.05). Total nitrogen content in the leaves was much higher than that of stem, and not significance among the levels of nitrogen fertilizer. Total water soluble carbohydrate content in stem was higher than that in the leaves and decreased after cutting as increasing nitrogen fertilizer(P < 0.05)

Effects of Fertilizer on Growth, Carbon and Nitrogen Responses of Foliage in a Red Pine Stand

  • This study was to examine growth, carbon and nitrogen responses in foliage following forest fertilization in a red pine stand. Two types of fertilizer (N:P:K=113:150:37 kg $ha^{-1}$; P:K=150:37 kg $ha^{-1}$) were applied on late April 2011. Growth, carbon and nitrogen responses of foliage were monitored 3 times (July, September, November) after fertilization. Morphological growth responses (dry mass, leaf area, specific leaf area) with foliage age were not significantly (P > 0.05) affected by fertilizer application, while needle dry mass and leaf area of July were significantly lower in current-year-old than in one-year-old or two-year-old needles of September or November. Carbon concentration and content in foliage was little affected by fertilizer application compared with sampling month or needle age, while the NPK fertilizer produced high nitrogen concentration and content of foliage. The results indicate that nitrogen concentration and content in foliage may serve as an indicator of the nitrogen status by fertilization in a red pine stand.

인삼식물의 종자발육 과정에 있어서의 생리화학적 연구 (Studies on the Physiological Chemistry of Seed Development in Ginseng Seed)

  • 인삼 종자의 결실과 최아과정중에서 일어나는 물질대사의 기본적 소인을 알고저 화기형성초기로부터 개화기까지, 결실초기부터 홍숙기까지, 그리고 최아과정중 화학성분의 변화를 추구하였다. 1. 화뢰에서는 감수분열기 이전까지 신선중, 건물중, 회수화물, 질소화합물의 변동은 그리 크지 않으며 TCA가용성인, 특히 유기태인의 증가와 현저하였다. 2. 감수분열기로부터 소포자기에 이르는 기간 동안 신선중, 건물중이 급격히 증가되고 전질소량이 증가하는데 불용성 질소구분은 이 시기부터 그 량이 늘어나 단백질이 합성되는 것을 의미하고 있으며 불용성 질소가 전질소의 62∼70%를 차지하고 있다. 또한 가용성 당분이 급격하게 증가되어 환원당, 비환원당이 모두 증가하나 전분의 증가는 볼 수 없고, 전인에 대한 TCA가용성인이 85.4%, TCA불용성인이 14.6%로 화뢰성장중 각각 최고, 최소치를 나타내고 있다. 3. 화분성숙기 이후와 개화기에서 특히 건물중의 증가가 현저하고 불용성질소도 계속 증가되어 총질소의 67%에 이른다. 또한 두드러진 유기태인의 저하와 갑작스런 조전분의 증가를 볼 수 있고 무기태인량이 유기태 인량을 능가하게 된다. 4. 결실기부터 홍열기까지에 있어서는 신선중량의 90%가 결실 후 3주간에 증가하는데, 1) 전질소량은 7배로 증가되었고 성숙되어 갈수록 전질소에 대한 불용성질소의 량이 커져서 65%에서 80%이상으로 상승되고 한편 가용성질소의 비율은 35%에서 20%이하로 저하되었다. 2) 전인산량도 8배로 증가되는데 홍숙이 시작되는 시기에 최고에 이르고 이때에 전인산에 대한 TCA가용성인의 비율도 가장 커서 90%에 이른다. 유기태인도 홍숙이 시작될 때까지 29배나 증가되며 지질태인, 핵산태인, 단백태인이 모두 증가되고 있다. 3) 회수화물의 증가는 신선중의 증가와 유사한데결실한지 3주 후에 최고량에 달하고 그 후는 사실상 증가하지 않으며 가용성당도 3주 후에 최고에 달했다가 일시 감소하며 홍숙기에 약간 증가하나 먼저 수준에는 이르지 못하며 조전분은 점차 증가되어 홍숙되기 일주 전에 최고량에 달하나 전 건물량의 2.36% 밖에 되지 못한다. 회수화물중 가용성당이 차지하는 비율이 훨씬 크며 완숙기에서는 가용성당분중 약80% 이상의 비환원당으로 되어 있어 인삼 종자의 주요 회수화물을 이루고 있다. 4) 한편 완숙된 종자의 배란중에는 60% 이상의 지방을 함유하고 있어 인삼 종자의 저장물질은 단백질이나 회수화물이기 보다는 주로 지방이다. 5. 최아조작중에는 배가 11월중순의 파종기까지 4.2∼4.7mm로 발육하며 충분히 흡수하여 50∼60%에 이르고, 저장지방, 단백질, 전분이 가수분해하여 가용화되고 당분, 무기태인, 인지질, 핵산태인, 단백태인과 가용성질소의 증가를 보이고 있어 세포내용물의 전이가 일어나 발아에 필요한 물질을 축적하고 있다.

시용질소양이 상엽중 이온 균형 및 엽위별 변화에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Nitrogen Rate on the Ionic Balance and the Variance with Leaf Sequance in Mulberry (Morus alba L.) Leaves)

  • 하비의 질소시비량을 달리하였을 때 뽕나무의 생육, 수엽량, 이온함량의 변동과 엽위별 이동, 균형 등을 알기 위해 요소관행구(25kg/10a)와 요소 3배증시구(75kg/10a)를 설치하고 시험한 결과 다음과 같았다. 1. 요소증시는 관행양에 비해 조장, 조중을 증가시켰으며, 정엽양은 9월20일경에 생물중으로 273.6kg/10a를 증가시켰다. 2. 뽕잎중의 수분함양은 8월30일까지 73%이상을 유지하였으나, 그 후 계속 감소되어 9월20일경에는 63%내외로 떨어졌다. 증시구에서는 관행구보다 0.1~1.8%정도 높았으며 10월10일경까지도 뽕잎이 연하였다. 3. 생육초기부터 계속 증가한 뽕잎의 건물중은 9월20일경에 현저히 감소되었으나 지조의 무게는 9월 30일까지도 계속 증가하였다. 4. 엽중의 $Ca^{2+}$는 경시적으로 함양이 현저히 증가되었으나, $K^{+}$$Mg^{2+}$은 감소되었으며, $Ca^{2+}$은 증시구에서 현저히 높았다. 5. 각종 이온의 경시적인 엽위별 이동을 보면 8월30일경에 전질소 및 수분함량이 급격히 감소함에 따라 이동성이 불량한 $Ca^{2+}$와 Cl$^{-}$는 상부로, 양호한 $K^{+}$, H$_2$PO$^{-}$$_4$ 그리고 SO$^{2-}$ $_4$ 등은 하부로 점차 이동하였다. 6. 전질소의 함양은 8월30일 이전에 3,200me/kg DM에서 9월 초순 이후에는 2,000me/kg DM으로 현저히 감소하였다. 관행구는 9월12일에, 증시구는 9월22일에 최대함량부위가 아래 엽위로 떨어지면서 10일후에는 각각 선단의 생장점이 고사ㆍ탈락하였다. 7. ∑C는 생육초기에 1,400me/kg DM에서 점차 증가하여 1,600me/kg DM 내외를, ∑A는 400me/kg DM 내외를, (C-A)는 생육초기에는 1,000me/kg DM에서 증가하여 1,200me/kg DM 내외를 각각 유지하였다. 8. ∑C, ∑A, (C-A) 등은 관행구에서 보다 증시구에서 약간 높은 경향을 보였는데 이것은 증시구에서는Ca$^{2+}$의 함량이 현저히 높았으며, NO$^{-}$$_3$, SO$^{2-}$ $_4$, H$_2$PO$^{-}$$_4$ 등이 다소 높았기 때문이다.

황색종잎담배의 칼륨결핍증에 관한 연구 (시비수준에 따른 엽위 및 엽부위별 질소와 칼륨함량의 상호관계) (A study on potassium deficiency symptoms of flue-cured tobacco. (Interrelationship of nitrogen and potassium contents in leaves of stalk position applied with fertilizer levels))

  • Potassium deficiency symptoms were studied with flue-cured tobacco which was applied with different levels of compound fertilizer (10-15-20) ; 75kg, 100hg, and 125kg/10a. Ratio of N/$K_2O$ in leaves was increased from bottom to top stalk position due to the increase of nitrogen content in leaves. Nitrogen content in leaves was increased from stalk to tip as wall as from midrib to laminae, but vice versa in potassium content. Consequently, resulting in potassium deficiency symptoms in tip of leaves. Rate of reabsorption by rainfall during the latter part of growth was highest at top stalk position in case of nitrogen, but lowest in potassium. This observation was more evident with higher application rate of fertilizer. Nitrogen content of about 4 % in leaves of top stalk position applied with 125kg/10a was maintained up to 85days after trans planting. No increase in potassium in upper leaves was observed over the level of 100kg/10a fertilizer application. As the result, N/$K_2O$ ratio in leaves of top stalk position applied with 125kg/10a was kept at more than 1.0 up to 85days after transplanting, but it was less than 0.9 at 65days after tracts planting with less than 100kg/10a fertilizer application.

Effects of Carbon and Nitrogen Sources on Fatty Acid Contents and Composition in the Green Microalga, Chlorella sp. 227

  • In order to investigate and generalize the effects of carbon and nitrogen sources on the growth of and lipid production in Chlorella sp. 227, several nutritional combinations consisting of different carbon and nitrogen sources and concentrations were given to the media for cultivation of Chlorella sp. 227, respectively. The growth rate and lipid content were affected largely by concentration rather than by sources. The maximum specific growth was negatively affected by low concentrations of carbon and nitrogen. There is a maximum allowable inorganic carbon concentration (less than 500~1,000 mM bicarbonate) in autotrophic culture, but the maximum lipid content per gram dry cell weight (g DCW) was little affected by the concentration of inorganic carbon within the concentration. The lipid content per g DCW was increased when the microalga was cultured with the addition of glucose and bicarbonate (mixotrophic) at a fixed nitrogen concentration and with the lowest nitrogen concentration (0.2 mM), relatively. Considering that lipid contents per g DCW increased in those conditions, it suggests that a high ratio of carbon to nitrogen in culture media promotes lipid accumulation in the cells. Interestingly, a significant increase of the oleic acid amount to total fatty acids was observed in those conditions. These results showed the possibility to induce lipid production of high quality and content per g DCW by modifying the cultivation conditions.

지역, 년도 및 엽분에 따른 잎담배 이화학성 차이 (Effect of Locations, Production Year and Leaf Position on Physical and Chemical Characteristics of Tobacco Leaves.)

  • This study was conducted to find out physical and chemical characteristics of burley and flue-cured tobacco leaves followed by location, growing season and leaf position during the period 1985 to 1989. The locations of flue-cured tobacco were 7(65farms) and burley tobacco were 4(40 farms). 1. Flue-cured tobacco leaves The locations of Ch'unch'on and Suwon were higher nicotine and ether extract content, Taegu and Chinju were higher total nitrogen content but Chiniju was lower red color of cured leaves than that of other location. Nicotine content increased but total sugar content decreased during the period 1985 to 1989. Nicotine and total nitrogen content increased but crude ash decreased from lower leaf position to higher leaf position. Total sugar and ether extract content were variable followed by leaf position. 2. Burley tobacco leaves. The location of Ch'onju was higher ether extract content than that of others location, but there was no significant difference the others chemical component among location. Nicotine content and red color of cured leaves increased during the period 1985 to 1989. Nicotine, total nitrogen and ether extract content increased but decreased crude ash content and brightness of cured leaf from lower leaf position to higher leaf position.
