This study tried to analyze the social perception of news coverage on inclusive education by using big data analysis techniques. News articles were collected according to the 5-year policy period for the development of special education, and news big data was analyzed. As a result, the frequency of media reports during the five-year policy period of special education development from 1998 in the first year to 2022 in the fifth year was steadily increased. During this period, the top topic words in news coverage changed from words conceptualizing simple definitions to words expressing the active will of students with disabilities for the actual right to education. In addition, as a result of emotional analysis of the overall keywords in the inclusive education news coverage, it was found that the positive word ratio was high. Through this study, it can be seen that interest in news coverage on inclusive education is increasing quantitatively in accordance with changes in special education policies, and the demand for inclusive education is being concreted in the direction of guaranteeing the actual right to education of students with disabilities.

This study is designed to introduce 'news literacy' as a theoretical framework to evaluate news education in digital age. Specifically, this study conceptually defined news literacy as news literacy self-efficacy and empirically tested how this variable is associated with other related determinants including users' news media consumption pattern, news knowledge structure on news content production, and involvement with news. The findings showed that users' 'searching/understanding' news literacy self-efficacy was positively affected by their knowledge structure and involvement with news, whereas users' 'sharing/expressing' news literacy self-efficacy was positively affected by their knowledge structure. The findings also demonstrated that users' 'searching/understanding' news literacy self-efficacy positively influenced their consumption of new types of news media, whereas users' 'sharing/expressing' news literacy self-efficacy positively influenced their consumption of traditional news media. As a result, this study practically suggests how news literacy is associated with the important factors affecting news consumption and news education.

The spaces of the news are specially edited. The environment news is often negative/disagreeable in tenor because the news is mostly of straight ones written by non-experts. Applying newspapers in education is a useful learning method which students could develop thinking power and induce concerning and interest by themselves. From the results of the study, the useful suggestions to apply newspapers to learning are as follows. At first, spaces and types of news must be read in detail. Secondly, it is hopeful that indirect news by not writer himself might be possibly avoided in learning. Thirdly, the themes of news would be picked up in relation with learning contents. Lastly, it suggests that the tenor of news is neutral or, in cases, positive and negative together possibly.

Recently, a number of researches actively focus on the contents and sensitivity of information distributed through SNS as smartphones and SNS gained its popularity. In this paper, we collected online news data about SW education, extracted words after morphological analysis, and analyzed emotions of collected news data by calculating sentimental score of each news datum. Also, the accuracy of the calculated sentimental score was examined. As a result, the number of news related to 'SW education' in the collection period was about 189 per month, and the average of sentimental score was 0.7, which signifies the news related to 'SW education' was emotionally positive. We were positive about the importance of SW education and the policy implementation, but there were negative views on the specific method for the realization. That is, a lack of SW education environment and its education method, a problem related to improvement of SW developers and improvement of their labor conditions, and increase of private education in coding were the factors for the negative viewers.
