A Study on the Brassiere Wearing Evaluation for Augmentation of Mammaplasty Patients (시판 유방 확대 수술 환자용 브래지어의 착의 평가)

  • The frequency of breast augmentation surgery continues to increase annually; however, the method of follow-up care varies from hospital to hospital. In particular, many different types of post-operative bras are available in the market. This study evaluated the wearing comfort of various commercial bras that were worn immediately after breast enlargement surgery prior to the manufacture of the bra. According to interviews of medical professionals and market research, five types of brassiere were selected and evaluated by wearing satisfaction, functional performance, and an external appearance test for 6 subjects with breast augmentation surgery. The evaluation questionnaires were based on a 5 point Likert scale with data analyzed using SPSS 20.0. The study results revealed that the bra with the highest degree of satisfaction was CNB (without bra cup) type. However, the use of CNB type showed dissatisfaction in functional evaluation questions regarding breast shaking and material & tactile sensation. In the future, it is necessary to develop a new post-operative brassiere based on a CNB type bra that showed the best evaluation. However, it is also necessary to identify the merits of the other four experimental bras and reflect these advantages.

Detergency Performance of Sodium Monoglycerol α-Sulfonated Alkanonates (소디움알파술폰 고급지방산 모노글리세리드의 세정성)

  • The detergencies of these new functional anionic surfactants, sodium monoglycerol ${\alpha}$-sulfonated alkanoates, were investigated and compared with those of two commercial surfactants, that is, sodium ${\alpha}$-sulfonated alkanoic acid methyl ester and sodium alkyl benzene sulfonate. According to the variation of the hydrophobic alkyl chain length, the order of detergency was shown to be $C_{16}$>$C_{18}$>$C_{14}$>$C_{12}$. From the comparision experiment for the detergency and the various fundamental properties of two other surfactants, it was found that sodium monoglycerol ${\alpha}$-sulfonated hexadecanonate has the most outstanding characteristics of detergency. Possibly this result shows light on its industrial application as a nonpolluting detergent.

Cloning and Characterization of Autonomously Replicating Sequence(ARS) from Kluyveromyces fragilis

  • An autonomously replicating sequence (Kf-ARS1) of Kluyveromyces fragilis was cloned from the genomic library which was constructed using pHN134 as a cloning vector to make a new host-vector system for the production of heterologous protein from K. fragilis as a host. The cloning vector pHN134 was composed of $Km^r, Ap^r$ and multiple cloning site in LacZ . A clone carrying Kf-ARS1 was isolated and the recombinant plasmid was designated as pIKD102. The cloned fragment was 2.3 kb (EcoRI/EcoRI) in length. Subcloning experiment showed that the region for ARS activity was 1.5 kb (SalI/EcoRI) fragment. It was shown that the Kf-ARS1 was active in Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Kluyveromyces fragilis.

  • This paper is proposed for a artificial neural network(ANN) sensorless control based on the vector controlled induction motor drive, or proposes a adaptive fuzzy teaming control(AFLC). The fuzzy logic principle is first utilized for the control rotor speed. AFLC scheme is then proposed in which the adaptation mechanism is executed using fuzzy logic. Also, this paper is proposed for a method of the estimation of speed of induction motor using ANN Controller. The back propagation neural network technique is used to provide a real time adaptive estimation of the motor speed. The error between the desired state variable and the actual one is back-propagated to adjust the rotor speed, so that the actual state variable coincide with the desired one. The back propagation mechanism is easy to derive and the estimated speed tracks precisely the actual motor speed. This paper is proposed the analysis results to verify the effectiveness of the new method.

  • It needs various technology assessment informations to perform reasonable technology valuation. It takes large amount of time and cost to collect technology assessment informations which is same or similar. To provide technology assessment informations efficiently, we develop new system which can batch search and browse all technology assessments gathered from institute of technology valuation, research institute and so on. In this paper, we explain how to use the method such as "metadata integration" and "metadata collection", "mapping for National Science & Technology Standard Classification" as a part of the system.

  • Anionic polyolic surfactants, ${alpha}-sulfo$ fatty acids that straight long chain alkyl group has from 12 to 18 hydrocarbon numbers, was synthesized with sulfur trioxide-dioxane complex to good yields. New sodium ${alpha}-sulfo$ long chain fatty acid monoglyceride were obtained by reaction that the ketalificaticn and esterification of glycerol, acetone and ${alpha}-sulfo$ long chain fatty acid and hydrolysis respectively. These reaction products separated by column chromatography and their $R_{f}$ values($R_{f}{\times}100$) were 19, 21, 24 and 26 respectively. These compounds were identified by infrared spectroscopy and $^{1}H$ NMR spectroscopy.

  • This paper is proposed an adaptive fuzzy controller of induction motor drive. The adaptive fuzzy controller approach for an estimate of the rotor time constant which is used to adjust the estimate of the slip angular speed. An estimate of the rotor time constant was obtained using an model reference adaptive system(MRAS) in a fuzzy control scheme. The rotor time constant was estimated by utilizing the rotor nut estimates. This paper is proposed the theoretical analysis as well as the simulation results to verify the effectiveness of the new method.

  • As the model of most practical system cannot be obtained, the practice of typical control method is limited. Accordingly, numerous artificial intelligence control methods have been used widely. Fuzzy control and neural network control have been an important point in the developing process of the field. This paper is proposed adaptive fuzzy-neural network based on the vector controlled interior permanent magnet synchronous motor drive system. The fuzzy-neural network is first utilized for the speed control. A model reference adaptive scheme is then proposed in which the adaptation mechanism is executed using fuzzy-neural network. Also, this paper is proposed estimation of speed of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor using artificial neural network controller.   • Kodu made by MS is a new 3D visual programming language made specifically for creating games. This language is based on creativity, problem-solving methods, and storytelling. So, it is very suitable for game programming education for kids. In this paper, we designed learning method to develop games based on elementary school students' creative thinking. The instruction was given to 27 6-grade elementary school students in 30 hours. And we applied the learning method in class. Also, we analyzed the changes in the learners' creative thinking and the learning effects of game programming.

  • Image restoration techniques such as noise reduction and contrast enhancement have been researched for enhancing a contaminated image by the noise. An image degraded by additive random noise can be enhanced by noise reduction. Sigma filtering is one of the most widely used method to reduce the noise. In this paper, we propose a new sigma filter algorithm based on noise variance estimation which effectively enhances the degraded image by noise. Specifically, the Bartlett test is used to measure the degree of noise with respect to the degree of image feature. Simulation results are also given to show the performance of the proposed algorithm.
