A Study on Pitch Control for Load - Reducing of Wind Turbine (풍력 시스템 하중 절감을 위한 피치 제어에 관한 연구)

  • This paper deals with a pitch control for reducing load of the wind turbine system. To make a model of the wind turbine system, the Momentum Theory and Blade Element Theory are used. Considering wind shear, wind model was also built. Due to a difference of the wind speed between upper parts and lower parts of the sweep area, overturning moment of the wind turbine is generated. So, in this paper through analyzing of the system model of the wind turbine, a control algorithm which was able to achieve both maintaining power and reducing overturning moment was proposed. Using matlab simulink, controller performance was verified.

  • 본 논문은 DSP Controller를 적용한 연료전지시스템의 유량제어에 관한 논문이다. 그리고 이 연구에서 사용된 시스템은 1kW급 계통연계 연료전지 시스템이다. 이 연료전지 시스템이 안정적으로 전원을 공급할 수 있도록 시스템에서 요구하는 공기 유량을 정확히 공급하도록 제어하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 이 목적을 이루기 위해 공기 공급 장치에 PID 제어기를 설계하여 적용하였다. PID 제어기의 Gain값은 지글러 니콜스 Tuning 방식으로 정하였다. 이 제어기를 적용하여 실험한 결과, 적용 전 상태와 비교하면 맥동이 30% 저감하였고, 정상상태 오차가 제거되어 온도 변화와 같은 외란과 상관없이 정확한 요구 공기 유량을 공급함을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 부하가 변동함에 따라 해당 요구 공기 유량이 바뀔 때 1초 내에 그 요구 공기 유량을 추종하여 스택이 안정적으로 운전될 수 있도록 하였다.

  • The color and the installation position of the LED lamp for night voyage of the ship are changed by the purpose of it. The power dissipation occurs because a navigation light is on and off or continuously on. In addition, in case that the light is produced by operating generator in the ship, it's very inefficient except that it's on a voyage. Therefore in this dissertation, we construct auxiliary power system for the LED lamp of the ship, producing and developing a module, a panel, and a charging system using Dye-sensitize Solar Cell.

  • The increased penetration of PV is impacting on grid operation and in particular the voltage within the local grid can be significantly influenced by the various PV systems. This paper describes domestic technical standard of Photovoltaic(PV) PCS(Power Conditioning Systems)- Characteristics of the utility interface. Especially protective function test items of 1) Output overvoltage protection test, 2) Output undervoltage protection test, 3) Frequency rise protection test, 4) Frequency fall protection test, 5) System voltage's momentary interruptions, 6) System voltage distortion capability test. Therefore in this paper protective function test item of facilities evaluation detailed standards for new renewable energy, small, medium and large photovoltaic inverter standard is studied and analyzed and finally full tested by PV inverter performance function.

  • According to the second plan of the Korean Government about technology development, utilization and popularization of new renewable energy, the continuous growth of distributed resources are expected. Various studies about impact of distributed resource on distribution system have been already accomplished. Rut there is a few paper about recloser and sectionalizer coordination and protection scheme in distribution system interconnected a number of distributed resources. In this paper, it is dealt with that recloser and sectionalizer coordination at the cases concerned with fault position. The problems of these cases are investigated through simulation.

  • This study investigates the effects of Pierson-Moskowitz, Jonswap spectrum that are typical irregular wave spectrums for wind turbine system with jacket support structure. Also various offshore environmental parameters based on korean local condition were used in our study. The loads acting on the system was considered by referring to the Design Load Case from IEC guide line. And improved von Karman model was used as a turbulence model. As a result, various significant wave height and peak spectral period cause noticeable difference of extreme and fatigue loads prediction.

  • In the power generation industry, various efforts are needed to cope with tightening regulation on carbon dioxide emission. Integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) is a relatively environment friendly power generation method using coal. Moreover, pre-combustion $CO_2$ removal is possible in the IGCC system. Therefore, much effort is being made to develop advanced IGCC systems. However, removal of $CO_2$ may affect the system performance and operation through reduction of fuel gas supplied to the gas turbine. This study predicts system performance change due to $CO_2$ capture by pre-combustion process from the normal IGCC performance without $CO_2$ capture and presents results of design parametric analysis.

  • In design PV(photovoltaic) system, there are many important factors to consider for best site selection. It is essential to understand to know the amount of sunlight available and how to minimize the shadings. This study presents basic concepts for understanding sun's position and insolation. also gives easy tools for topography analysis. Finally, this study shows some theoretical calculations of power generation losses and disadvantages in economic feasibility.
