  • Purpose - This study aims to provide a brief understanding of usability and its extended models with TAM as well as identifying additional determinants that had been suggested in previous studies on mobile services. Research design, data, and methodology - Empirical data were collected by conducting a field survey of potential mobile application service users. The call for participation was also made in mobile related application issues, which were widely discussed. Result - The ease of use and usefulness had a significantly positive influence on attitude and intention. It also was revealed that added value services can offer practical value to customers. Thus, positive attitudes toward the adoption of services by customers are present when they perceive higher usefulness and ease of use of mobile application services. Conclusion - It was indicated that customers who are more inclined to try new products or who have a higher demand for new things tend to think about those functionalities and added value mobile application services from the perspective of usefulness and ease of use and operation.

  • Purpose: This study develops heuristic process capability indices (PCIs) using distribution-decomposition methods and evaluates the performances. The heuristic methods decompose the variation of a quality characteristic into upper and lower deviations and adjust the value of the PCIs using decomposed deviations in accordance with the skewness. The weighted variance(WV), new WV(NWV), scaled WV(SWV), and weighted standard deviation(WSD) methods are considered. Methods: The performances of the heuristic PCIs are investigated under the varied situations such as various skewed distributions, sample sizes, and specifications. Results: WV PCI is the best under the normal populations, WSD and SWV PCIs are the best under the low skewed populations, NWV PCI is the best under the moderate and high skewed populations. Conclusion: Comprehensive analysis shows that the NWV method is most adequate for a practical use.

  • Recently genuine products and good commerce have been threatened by distributing forgery in home and abroad markets. It is because most customers cannot distinguish whether genuine or forgery, so establishing of strict distribution system is needed. Therefore recently Genuine Guarantee System which can confirm genuine products has been developed using the Internet. The object of this system is protecting to purchase forgery by confirming distribution system. This system can provide a reliable environment of consumption. But to be diffused at distribution structure and applied, We require the understanding about not only technical side but behavior side. That is, we need to research the cause and process of using this new information system. in this research, we understand the cause of affection on the system's acceptance and define the suitability about the model according to Technology Acceptance Model by Davis. The above can build the suitable operating strategy and understand the criterion as a new business model.

  • This paper proposes a new voltage control method of distribution substation using fuzzy inference. The aims of distribution voltage control equipments are reducing the operation frequency of lap changers and improving the characteristics of voltage(decreasing the errors between the actual voltage and the reference voltage). However, these objectives are in a trade-off relationship. Conventional voltage control equipment does not have functions of judgement and prediction, so it turns up limitations of voltage control. Proposed voltage control method using fuzzy inference can improve voltage characteristics as it has those functions of judgement and prediction. This paper describes the design method of new voltage control method using fuzzy inference, simulates with simple voltage and current models, and compares decreased voltage errors with conventional voltage errors.

  • This paper introduces performance characteristics of existing distribution class arrester ground lead disconnecting devices. The paper also introduces a new distribution class ground lead disconnector design that not only extends the claimable detonation range well below the 20 amps specified in industry standards, but is very durable when exposed to severe arrester durability tests. Finally, this paper shows how this next generation disconnector interacts with the connected arrester to improve the overvoltage withstand capability of the arrester assembly.

  • EM algorithm has good convergence rate for numerical procedures which converges on very small step. In the case of proportion estimation in a mixed distribution which has very big incomplete data or of update of new data continuously, however, EM algorithm highly depends on a initial value with slow convergence ratio. There have been many studies to improve the convergence rate of EM algorithm in estimating the proportion parameter of a mixed data. Among them, dynamic EM algorithm by Hurray Jorgensen and Titterington algorithm by D. M. Titterington are proven to have better convergence rate than the standard EM algorithm, when a new data is continuously updated. In this paper we suggest dynamic EM algorithm and Titterington algorithm for the estimation of a mixed Poisson distribution and compare them in terms of convergence rate by using a simulation method.

  • A new method of measurement of pore volume distribution in a porous material by adsorption of gases is proposed. In the newly proposed method the use of spherical molecules with relatively large molecular weight as adsorbates is strongly recommended to eliminate the troubles caused by stereospecificity and low boiling point of widely used $N_2$. It is also claimed that the universal t-curves that have been widely used since proposed by de Boer et al. must be replaced by the flat-surface isotherms that can be derived from the theory proposed by Chang et al. The results of analysis of pore volume distribution based on the method described in this paper are found to be reasonable and satisfactory.

  • In this paper, we introduce new subclasses of analytic and bi-univalent functions associated with the Mittag-Leffler-type Borel distribution by using the Legendre polynomials. Furthermore, we find estimates on the first two Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients |a2| and |a3| for functions in these subclasses and obtain Fekete-Szegő problem for these subclasses. We also state certain new subclasses of Σ and initial coefficient estimates and Fekete-Szegő inequalities.

  • Archidium Brid. (Archidiaceae), comprising a total of 35 species, is known to be widely distributed from subtropical to temperate regions, excluding the polar areas. The distribution of Archidium ohioense Schimp ex Müll. Hal. in Korea has been unclear. This study reports the collection of Archidium ohioense from Mt. Gamak, Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. This species is distinguished from similar species by median cell, alar region, capsule. We provide detailed description, illustrations, photographs, and a key to related species.
