Distraction osteogenesis(DO) can be performed in the bony defect associated with trauma, anomaly, and various kinds of disease. The gap generated by DO is filled with growing callus : during the period of distraction, the osteogenesis is continued. However, there have been few reports about expression pattern of growth factors in newly formed bone during the consolidation periods. We performed DO in the mandibular defect case and studied the expressed pattern of growth factors. Its pattern was compared to that of the same patient. BMP-2 and -4 were strongly expressed in the DO site. Particularly, BMP-4 was not expressed in the normal mature bone, but expressed in new bone in DO. However, there was no difference in the FGF-7 expression between the sites. Therefore, strong expression of BMP-4 are related to new bone formation in DO and they may not be related to the normal homeostasis in human bone. Though FGF-7 is related to the growth of keratinocyte, it may have minimal role in the DO and normal mature bone.

This study aims to discuss sustainable fashion trends and sustainable design directions that fashion companies are practicing with ESG in the post-corona new normal era. As a research method, this study examined sustainable fashion trends and ESG practices through empirical case studies focusing on each fashion brand's website, including previous research and literature research, using materials such as newspapers and magazines. As for ESG practice plans, they were divided into four categories: technology orientation, design orientation, consumption orientation, and social value pursuit orientation. The sustainable fashion trends were also divided into four categories. First, the trend exhibits cyclical sustainability using pro-environmental materials, such as pro-environmental fibers, recycled fibers, biodegradable fibers. Second, high sensitivity and rare value sustainability were shown using reuse and upcycling. Third, consumption-oriented trends were promoted through slow fashion. Fourth, in order to realize eco-friendly sustainable fashion and ESG as practical ways to pursue social values, there is a trend of integrating sustainability through changes in perception considering people, society, and the environment. Beyond spreading concern about value consumption trends and the environment, it presents a direction for future industries concerning core values with social roles, responsibility, and ethical awareness from various perspectives.
This study was carried out to investigate the changes in ovary in repeatedly superovulated rabbits. A total of 57 New Zealand White and Californian, 25 mature virgin and 32 immature does were used in this study. For induction of repeated superovulation, PMSG and HCG were injected at 17-day and 30-day intervals for mature does and 17-day intervals for immature ones. The repeatedly superovulated does at 17-day intervals were induced luteolysis of pseudopregnant corpus luteum with PGF2${\alpha}$ on Day 8 to 9 p.c. The effect of repeated superovulation on reproductive organs was investigated on Day 3 p.c. in mature does and on Day 3 and 6 p.c. in immature ones, respectively. 1. In mature virgin does, the number of ovulation points in the 2nd and 3rd superovulation period averaged 7.0 and 5.0 at 17-day intervals and 13.4 and 6.0 at 30-day intervals, respectively. These numbers were statistically similar to 9.5 ovulation points in the control. However, there were less (p<0.05) ovulation points in those periods compared with 22.1 ovulation points in the 1st superovulation period. 2. In immature does, the number of ovulation points in the 2nd and 3rd superovulation period averaged 5.3 and 2.3, respectively. These numbers were significantly (p<0.05) decreased than 17.1 ovulation points in the 1st periods. The number of ovulation points in the 2nd superovulation period was similar to that in the control, but there was a significant (p<0.05) decrease in the number of ovulation points in the 3rd period as compared to the control. 3. In mature virgin does, the number of visible normal and hemorrhagic follicles (>1.0mm diameter) on day 3 p.c. averaged 19.1 and 8.9 in the 1st superovulation period, respectively. In the 2nd 3rd superovulation period, the number of normal follicles averaged 8.3 and 15.5 at 17-day intervals and 17.8 and 14.5 at 30-day intervals. The number of hemorrhagic follicles in the 2nd and 3rd superovulation period averaged 6.3 and 2.0 at 17-day intervals and 5.2 and 7.8 at 30-day intervals, respectively. There was a slight decrease, although not significant, in the number of normal and hemorrhagic follicles in the 2nd and 3rd period at 17-day intervals compared to that in the 1st period. 4. In immature does, the number of visible normal follicles on day 3 and day 6 p.c. in the 1st superovulation period averaged 27:3 and 26.1, respectively. The follicles on day 3 p.c. tended to increase slightly more than that in the cortrol, but the average number of normal follicles on day 6 p.c. did not differ from that in the control. The number of visible hemorrhagic follicles on day 3 and day 6 p.c. in the 1st of follicles in the 1st superovulation period average 10.2 and 9.9, respectively. There was a slight increase in the number of follicles in the 1st period compared to that in the control. In the 2nd and 3rd superovulation period, the number of normal follicles revealed a slight decrease in the 3rd period, but the number of hemorrhagic follicles was not different between periods. 5. The number of growing follicles with incipient intral formation on day 3 p.c. in mature does of the 1st superovulaton period average 29.7 and the average number of growing follicles in the 3rd period was 26.7 at 17-day intervals and 31.0 at 30-day intervals, respectively. These numbers did not differ from that in the control. In immature does, the number of growing follicles averaged 57.7, 45.0 and 59.3 in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd superovulation period, respectively. There was a slight but not significant decrease in the number of growing follicles in the 3rd period compared to that in the control.
A new knee-ankle-foot-orthosis(KAFO) which uses an automatically-controlled electromechanical wrap spring clutch for the knee joint was developed in the present study. It was found that the output voltage from the foot switches of the developed KAFO was proportionally increased with respect to the applied load. The output voltage from the infrared sensor also decreased as the knee flexion angle increased. The knee joint system for the new KAFO weighs only 780g lighter than any other commercially available developed system. In addition, the solenoid reduces the reaction time for the automatic control of the knee joint. The static torque of the clutch was measured for three persons, and it satisfied the normal knee extension moment during the pre-swing. Three-dimensional gait analyses for three different gait patterns (normal gait, locked-knee gait, controlled-knee gait) from five normal subjects were conducted. Controlled-knee gait showed the maximum knee flexion angle of 40.56$\pm9.55^{\circ}$ and the maximum knee flexion moment of 0.20$\pm$0.07Nm/kg at similar periods in the normal gait. Our KAFO system satisfies both stability during stance phase and free knee flexion during the swing phase at the proper period during the gait cycle. Therefore, our KAFO system would be very useful in various low extremity orthotic applications.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the transitory and permanent growth effects of human capital of the Korean economy based on the analysis of the New Normal Era during the period 1970-2014. For the transitory effects, we found out that all the coefficients of capital and labor are significant above the 5% level, whereas the coefficients of labor and human capital are significant only at the 10% level during the period 1999~2014. In particular, in the case of 1% increase in the human capital, the actual growth rate raised up with the rate of 0.15% over a 45-year period. For the permanent growth effects, the coefficients of capital and labor are significant above the 5% level. Furthermore, sum of the coefficients of the capital and labor showed approximately 0.96~0.99, approaching to a unit, which implies that there is a constant returns scale with respect to these inputs. In particular, the coefficient of human capital at 0.064 is significant at the 10% level. This implies that the permanent growth effect of an additional index of human capital is about 0.64% the previous 45-year period.
New diagnosing method o flood possibility was proposed. The method can be processed by following steps: first, decide if current available water resources are above normal or not; second, compute a consecutive period above normal; third, precipitation is accumulate through the period; fourth, daily depletion (runoff and evapotranspiration) amount is subtracted from the accumulated precipitation and remains are translated to one day's precipitation, which is called effective precipitation; and finally, effective precipitation index. the larger effective precipitation index means the higher flood possibility. This method has been applied to the flood event occurred in the central region of Korea at late July 1996 and compared with the study by Korea Water resources Association (1996). The new method is proven to be much faster in computation, and therefore much better in practical use for emergency situation than current rainfall-runoff models. It is because the new method simplifies some steps of currently used method such as parameter estimation and water level observation. It is also known that new method is more scientific than any other methods that use accumulated precipitation only as it considers the runoff depletion in time

The biggest reason to prefer the remodeling is a relatively short period of time (5~6 years) compared to the reconstruction work that takes 8~9 years. In addition, from the perspective that the period of temporary residence is usually 24 months, the necessity of shortening is greater. Also, since the remodeling construction period is approximately 28~35 months on average, the strategies and efforts are needed to make up for the shortening the remodeling construction period. For these reasons, this paper is to develop an estimating model for normal project duration of apartment remodeling project. This model is reflected in the remodeling properties thorugh difference analysis of the new apartment construction project. Demolition works, reinforcement works, extension works are different, so this paper newly defines these construction work's duration in normal project duraion of remodeling. Case study and experts interviews are used to validate normal project duration. This model can be used to calculate rough construction period each alternatives, and will help a strategic decision making among the stakeholders.

This paper presents new criteria for DGA(Dissolved Gases Analysis) using CDF(Cumulative Distribution Function) obtained from the data from the diagnosis of transformers operated in KEPCO over a period of 16 years. Because of differences in operating environments, construction type, oil volume, and other factors, the interpretative criteria of DGA at KEPCO differs from other standards such as IEC-60599, or Rogers and Doernenburg. To suggest the most appropriate criteria, the DGA data from transformers under normal conditions as well as from developing fault transformers were collected. Using these data, this study suggests the limitative gas level of transformers under normal operating conditions and verifies the suitability of the criteria. Because the application of this new criterion to transformers at KEPCO increases the detectable ratio of incipient faults and reduces unnecessary follow-up sampling and analysis, the new criteria yields a more reliable prediction of transformer condition.
The reliability qualification test is essential in order to ensure the life time of the product under the normal operation conditions when a new product is developed. The reliability qualification test period has an important impact on the development time of new product. Therefore, some researches to reduce the test time of reliability qualification test have been actively studied. Generally, accelerated life test is well known as one method that can save the test time of the reliability qualification test. This test is conducted under the higher stress condition than normal condition. So we need to investigate what factor affects to the higher stress condition. This paper shows the relationship between the acceleration factor and reliability qualification test period. Especially, we focused on the method to obtain effective acceleration factors under the high temperature condition. Through some experiments for a refrigerator's compressor, we were able to confirm how to increase acceleration factors and how to reduce the reliability qualification test period with minimum samples.

In this study, detailed factors of public sentiment toward the 'post-corona new normal' were examined through social media big data sentiment analysis. Thus, it is to provide basic data to preemptively cope with the post-COVID-19 era. For data collection and analysis, the emotional analysis program of 'Textom', a big data analysis program, was used. The data collection period is one year from October 5, 2020 to October 5, 2021, and the collection channels are set as blogs, cafes, Twitter, and Facebook on Daum and Naver. The original data edited and refined a total of 3,770 collected texts from this channel were used for this study. The conclusion is as follows. First, there is a high level of interest and liking for the 'post-corona new normal'. In other words, it can be seen that optimism such as daily recovery, technological growth, and expectations for a new future took the lead at 77.62%. Second, negative emotions such as sadness and rejection are 22.38% of the total, but the intensity of emotions is 23.91%, which is higher than the ratio, suggesting that these negative emotions are intense. This study has a contribution to the detailed factor analysis of the public's positive and negative emotions through big data analysis on the 'post-corona new normal'.
