  • Recently, rapid process of network technology has an effect on the field of control engineering. And it gives effect to network control system(NCS) research that grafts existing control system and network has been studied. According to one-chip development of TCP/IP that is the most useful in LAN server for hardware, it can usefully and conveniently apply to network control system before. This paper construct network control system that can work close-loop control takes advantage of Ethernet that is the most for general data transmission network. Here, protocol uses for data transmission makes use for TCP/IP. This work the basic data transmitter-receive experiment to take advantage of network node was produced. And then, DC-motor can be control plant. Finally, I will prove to build speed control system of multiple DC-motor through Ethernet.

  • In this paper, we have studied the devices needed for long distance wireless transmission of SDH network. This devices propose wireless transmission and measurement method of STM-1(basic transmission unit of SDH method) signal and 200Mbps synchronous ethernet. The synchronous clock recovery function is provided for STM-N transmission and synchronous ethernet transmission, and spare clock switching function is designed for stable synchronization. In addition, we discussed the measurement method of STM-N and synchronous Etherent communication method in wireless transmission section.

  • In a ubiquitous sensor network (USN) with several nodes, real-time data processing is one of important factors. In order to process data appropriately, all the nodes should transmit sensor data in time and the transmission between nodes and their server should be managed very systematically. For the purpose of systematic management of transmission in a USN, this paper proposes a system for analyzing transmission time of sensor data. To implement the proposed system, an analyzing process of data transmission time, an analyzing method of clock drift, a collecting method of data send/receive times, and calculating formulas of data transmission duration are proposed. According to the proposed process and methods, this paper presents a system for monitoring and analyzing data transmission duration, and it also shows the results of a sample case.

  • With repid development of optical networking technology, Software-Defined Network (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV), high performance networking service, collaboration platform that enables collaborative research globally, drastically National Research Network (NRN) including Internet Service has changed. Therefore we compared and analyzed several world-class NRNs and took a view of future development strategy of the NRN. Also we suggest high speed security environment in super high bandwidth network with 40Gbps and 100Gbps optical transmission technology, network separation of NRN with Science DMZ to support high performance network transmission for science big data, building security environment for last-mile in campus network that supports programmability of IDS using BRO framework.

  • Main power transmission network in Korea is consist of 154kV, 345kV transmission lines. Also 765kV transmission lines are on construction currently. There are some differences in the insulation design concept, methods and contents on 154kV, 345kV and 765kV overhead transmission lines respectively. In this paper, we described and summarized the applied insulation design concept, methods and features on each transmission lines.

  • In this paper, the authors propose a multi-transmission mechanism of heterogeneous network environment which is applicable to the SMART screen services over wire and wireless convergence network. This paper presents study results including a SMART screen handover algorithm among multiple collaborative devices under wire and wireless convergence and heterogeneous network environment, and a service operation and management system and a NAS system providing SMART services of AV streaming and contents files. These validate implementation feasibility of a call processing engine for seamless SMART screen collaborative services, AV streaming services and SMART screen collaborative services supporting mobility management and multiple users/multiple streams.

  • In wireless sensor networks where there is no centralized base station, each node has limited transmission range and the multi-hop routing for transmitting data to the destination is the one of the important technical issues. In particular, the wireless sensor network is not powered by external power source but operates by its own battery, so it is required to maximize the network life through efficient use of energy. To balance the power consumption, the residual power based adaptive power control is required in routing protocol. In this paper, we propose a routing protocol that prolongs the network lifetime by balancing the power consumption among the nodes by controlling the transmit power according to the residual power. We evaluate the proposed routing protocol using extensive simulation, and the results show that the proposed routing scheme can balance the power consumption and prolong network lifetime.

  • Advent of the brain wave health care system is considered as an important issues in the industrial and research area in these days. It is necessary to detect EEG signals in real-time in order to support the medical emergency service for the epileptic or brain infarct patients. Since the efficient network support is an essential factor for the system, several topologies using sensor node based wireless body area network is suggested and simulated in this paper. Finally the Opnet simulation result is evaluated for the efficient topology of the body area network.

  • In this paper,a network interface unit of token-passing bus network and its driving software are implemented based on Mini-MAP. This network interface unit performs the function of MAC layer which is responsible for transmission and reception of frames as well as the management of logical ring. The driving software performs the management of data buffer and the report of errors, if ocoured, to the higher layer. Motorola MC68824 of is used as a TBC(Token Bus Controller) and Intel80186 as a CPU for network interface unit. The operation of network interface unit is verified by self-test which checks the functioning of TBC and CPU. In addition each module of driving software is tested to check the functions regarding transmission and reception of frames.

  • It is desirable that the implementation of next generation information infrastructure is the Integrated Network combining the satellite and the terrestrial network. The application of the ATM network being the dominant infrastrure of terrestrial network to the satellite network is being studied variously. Considering these concepts, this paper analyzes due to ATM transport via satellite, evaluates the degradation of QoS and proposes reliable method of ATM cell transport via satellite. Because ATM is investigated with the optical fiber which is almost error free characteristics, the practical application of ATM transport via satellite essentially need the channel coding(FEC:Forward Error Correction) to enhance BER performance. But using the FEC coding, satellite link has burst error characteristics which evoke severe performance degradation fo ATM QoS. Therefore in satellite link, we analyze burst error characteristics using experimental results of computer simulation. Then to compensate these characteristics, based on this analysis and HEC dual mode algorithm we propose various interleaver structures(Block interleaver, Intra interlever, and Inter-Intra interleaver) to improve cell transmission QoS. We execute performance evaluations of iterleaver structures by computer simulation.
