  • We present a testbed for collecting log information and evaluating network security under various attacks. This testbed is modeled on real Internet, where attack traffic coexists with normal traffic. Attacks can be produced either by attack tools directly or by data sets including attack traffic. It costs less time and money than existing ones which are both costly and often time consuming in constructing. Also, it can be easily revised or extended according to the traffic types or the uses. Therefore, using our testbed can make various tests more efficient and facilitate collecting log information of sensors with attacks. We discuss how to use our testbed through replay procedures of DDoS attack and worm. We also discuss how we surmount some difficulty in constructing the testbed.

  • In this paper, we propose a testbed system for the crisis management system of the power grid(CMS-PG) using satellite communication network. For the verification of CMS-PG, the proposed system composed of the simulator of satellite communication network and the simulator of phase measurement unit. Proposed satellite communication simulator can evaluate the delay and the robustness of the communication according to the rainfall and the humidity of local site. And the proposed simulator can calculates the voltage stability by hardware implementation using FPGA. Using the proposed testbed system, we adapted its function of crisis management system for the conventional power grid.

  • In this paper, a home network access agent, which controls and monitors networked appliances at home using various terminals regardless of user's location, is designed and implemented. The proposed access agent integrates wire and wireless network on a home gateway (or home server) and is accessed with consistent messages using various terminals such as a web terminal, a PDA and a cellular phone. Also, in order to verify the operation and availability of the agent, a user interface for the various terminals is designed and a home network testbed which is accessed and controlled by the terminals is implemented.

  • The Temporal Database Management Testbed supports valid and transaction time. In this paper, we discuss the design and implementation of a testbed of a temporal database management system in main memory. The testbed consists of a syntactic analyzer, a semantic analyzer, a code generator, and an interpreter. The syntactic analyzer builds a parse tree from a temporal query. The semantic analyzer then checks it for correctness against the system catalog. The code generator builds an execution tree termed ann update network. We employ an incremental view materialization for the execution tree. After building the execution tree, the interpreter activates each node of the execution tree. Also, the indexing structure and the concurrency control are discussed in the testbed.

  • In this paper, we overview the system development status of the national maritime precise point positioning-real-time kinematic (PPP-RTK) service in Korea, also known as the Precise POsitioning and INTegrity monitoring (POINT) system. The development of the POINT service began in 2020, and the open service is scheduled to start in 2025. The architecture of the POINT system is composed of three provider-side facilities-a reference station, monitoring station, and central control station-and one user-side receiver platform. Here, we propose the detailed functionality of each component considering unidirectional broadcasting of augmentation data. To meet the centimeter-level user positioning accuracy in maritime coverage, new reference stations were installed. Each reference station operates with a dual receiver and dual antenna to reduce the risk of malfunctioning, which can deteriorate the availability of the POINT service. The initial experimental results of a testbed from corrections generated from the testbed network, including newly installed reference stations, are presented. The results show that the horizontal and vertical accuracies satisfy 2.63 cm and 5.77 cm, respectively. For the purpose of (near) real-time broadcasting of POINT correction data, we designed a correction message format including satellite orbit, satellite clock, satellite signal bias, ionospheric delay, tropospheric delay, and coordinate transformation parameters. The (near) real-time experimental setup utilizing (near) real-time processing of testbed network data and the designed message format are proposed for future testing and verification of the system.

  • Wireless Mesh Network(WMN) is wireless backbone networks technique which has ease of network configuration and cost of advantage. Recently, WNM released a new product, but most of existing research and technology analysis the performance through the simulation. This paper build the wireless mesh network testbed for actual situation. Testbed supports multi-channel multi-interface using bridge, the Wireless Distribution System and dynamic location-based routing protocol. This routing protocol strongly design against wireless interference using metric for link channel change and real distance. Then, the address of mesh clients assigned by the centralized address management server. Mesh clients is designed and implemented to manage network through Simple Network Management Protocol.

  • Recently, research activities on the future internet are being actively performed in foreign and domestic. In domestic, ETRI and 4 universities are focused on implementation of a testbed for research on the future internet named as 'FiRST(Future Internet Research for Sustainable Testbed)'. In the 'FiRST' project, 4 universities are performing a project in collaboration named as 'FiRST@PC' project that is for an implementation of the testbed using the programmable platform-based openflow switches. Currently, the research on the virtualization of the testbed is being performed that has a purpose for supporting an isolated network to individual researcher. In this paper, we implemented a traffic scheduler for providing QoS by using the programmable platform that performs a hardware-based packet processing and we are implemented a testbed using that traffic scheduler. We perform a performance evaluation of the traffic scheduler on the testbed. As a result, we show that the hardware-based NetFPGA scheduler can provide reliable and stable QoS to virtualized networks of the Future Internet Testbed.

  • WSN (Wireless Sensor Network), to take advantage of the range was gradually expanded. So WSN access from public network to the desire to be increased. As a result, the test network environment for research has been progressing steadily. Because it requires a lot of sensor nodes, to establish of Testbed for WSN is difficult. in this paper suggests efficient integration test simulation environment of Testbed and Virtual environment for WSN. In addition to this paper suggests simulation environment able to integration of simulation time of Testbed and NS-3.

  • Network virtualization technology is a crucial research issue of Future Internet which pursues a service-oriented architecture so-called NaaS (Network as a Service) or SDN (Software Defined Network). Network virtualization is expected to play an important role in Future Internet researches as a network testbed technology which enables innovative protocols to be experimented independently on a common testbed environment. We propose a control framework in order to provide user defined topology and bandwidth services with network virtualization and to separate and manage multiple-user traffics in a small and medium scale - single domain research network. The proposed framework (VIMS; Virtual network Integrated control and Management System) supports testbed expansions without any changes of heterogeneous virtual network support equipments through accommodation of each equipment's control plane. The framework shows a feasibility through applied to KOREN and we describe the differences and further study directions for improvement the framework comparing with GENI control framework.
