PLOC를 고려한 배전계통의 신뢰도 계산 및 ANP에 의한 종합적 평가 (Reliability Assessment Considering PLOC and Unified Evaluation via Analytic Network Process)

  • 본 연구는 확장하연서도 적용하기 어려운 계통인 인천국제공항 배전계통에 대하여 전력공급제한을 포함하는 종합적언 선협도평가를 하였다. 우선, 계통의 선로제약 및 전압강하를 고려한 평가를 하기 위하여 확정론적인 방법과 고장모드-효과분석법에 지반을 푼 PLOC지법을 도입하고, 신뢰도지수를 계산하었다. 또한 계통의 능력을 평가하고, 신뢰도를 개선하기 위하여 ANP를 도입하였다. 이와같은은 결과로 정확한 신뢰도를 계산하교 취약부분을 찾아내고, 계통의 확장계획을 수립하는 것올 가능하게 하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 방향성 그래프인 Rotator 그래프와 Faber-Moore 그래프를 병합한 새로운 상호 연결망으로 RFM그래프를 제안하고, RFM그래프에 대하여 고장 허용도, 라우팅 알고리즘, 노드 중복 없는 싸이클, 방송 알고리즘을 분석한다. 또한 2차원 토러스, Strar 그래프, Bubblesort 그래프를 RFM 그래프에 연장비율(dilation) 2와 확장비율(expansion)1에 임베딩하는 방법을 제시한다.

  • virus방역 체계 관리는 network infra구조관리, traffic소통경로관리. 방역 zone설정, gateway구간 방역관리이다. 본 논문은 일반적인 방역체계 구조의 성격과 취약점을 진단하고 이를 개선할 수 있는 대책으로서 개선된 방역체계를 설계하였다. 또한 설계된 방역체계와 configuration, mechanism하에서는 어느 정도의 개선효과 나타나고 있는지 분석하였다. 개선된 다단계 방역체계 하에서는 gateway 단계에서 불필요한 mail을 걸러주므로서 server에 주는 부하는 감소하며 virus wall상의 CPU부하의 감소와 virus 치료율의 상승으로 송신 적체 건수는 감소하고 시스템 process수는 증대하고있다.

  • Today the mobile devices including smart phones have influenced on the users' daily activities in the mobile internet society, and the expansion of social media has also affected on the purchasing behavior of consumers. This study examines whether the quality of corporate twitter, a typical social network service for call centers influences on the customer satisfaction, and brand loyalty. In order to achieve the research goal, the quality of twitter has been divided into four variables; information quality, service quality, system quality, and social quality. The results of our empirical analysis show that the three variables except service quality have significantly influenced on the customer satisfaction and the customer satisfaction also significantly has a casual effect on the brand loyalty. The empirical results are expected as a guideline to contribute on the practical improvement of customer service, satisfaction, and brand loyalty through corporate social network services such as corporate twitters in the future.

Step-Size Control for Width Adaptation in Radial Basis Function Networks for Nonlinear Channel Equalization

  • A method of width adaptation in the radial basis function network (RBFN) using stochastic gradient (SG) algorithm is introduced. Using Taylor's expansion of error signal and differentiating the error with respect to the step-size, the optimal time-varying step-size of the width in RBFN is derived. The proposed approach to adjusting widths in RBFN achieves superior learning speed and the steady-state mean square error (MSE) performance in nonlinear channel environment. The proposed method has shown enhanced steady-state MSE performance by more than 3 dB in both nonlinear channel environments. The results confirm that controlling over step-size of the width in RBFN by the proposed algorithm can be an effective approach to enhancement of convergence speed and the steady-state value of MSE.

Design and Configuration of Reconfigurable ATM Networks with Unreliable Links

  • This paper considers a problem of configuring both physical backbone and logical virtual path (VP) networks in a reconfigurable asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) network where links are subject to failures. The objective is to determine jointly the VP assignment, the capacity assignment of physical links and the bandwidth allocation of VPs, and the routing assignment of traffic demand at least cost. The network cost includes backbone link capacity expansion cost and penalty cost for not satisfying the maximum throughput of the traffic due to link failures or insufficient link capacities. The problem is formulated as a zero-one non-linear mixed integer programming problem, for which an effective solution procedure is developed by using a Lagrangean relaxation technique for finding a lower bound and a heuristic method exploited for improving the upper bound of any intermediate solution. The solution procedure is tested for its effectiveness with various numerical examples.

  • This paper describes the systematic control method of process information transfer and machine cell control in FMS implementation. We have constructed an experimental FMS computer network and control system. The system hardware consists of host computer to manage process data and information transfer of machine cells, cell control computers to control machine cells(NC lathe, machining center). On the other hand, software is made up of oredr management module, NC program searching and generation module, NC part program error check module and cell control module. In this study, we could arrive at conclusion as following : The first, each task could be accomplihed by the efficient information transfer in hierachical computer network. The second, data base system of part programs and process control data is needed for the efficint information transfer and production management. Lastly, expansion of FMS control system could be achieved by the hierachical and decentralized computer control system.

  • The development of data communication and network technology has brought a change to various communications through the internet. Regarding the stable internet service, corporations and Individuals came to require an internet data center in which there is computer equipment and network devices available 24 hours everyday. The internet data center is now on a large scale in its structure and facility, suitable for the internet environment that is under development in various dimensions, and effective for task support, stable facility, capable of space expansion and flexibility, and easiness in ease of maintenance and management, etc. The monitoring center of the data center which is one of the core facilities in the center, special space elements and functions as well as a function of task space are to be put into consideration additionally. This study was to present a proposal for the space elements and environmental design of a monitoring center, which could create an efficient and comfortable room.

Fitness Sharing Particle Swarm Optimization Approach to FACTS Installation for Transmission System Loadability Enhancement

  • Proper installation of Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) devices in existing transmission networks can enable power systems to accommodate more power transfer with less network expansion cost. The problem to maximize transmission system loadability by determining optimal locations and settings for installations of two types of FACTS devices, namely static var compensator (SVC) and thyristor controlled series compensator (TCSC), is formulated as a mixed discrete-continuous nonlinear optimization problem (MDCP). For solving the MDCP, in the paper, the proposed method with fitness sharing technique involved in the updating process of the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm, can diversify the particles over the search regions as much as possible, making it possible to achieve the optimal solution with a big probability. The modified IEEE-14 bus network and a practical power system are used to validate the proposed method.

  • This paper presents an application of a newly designed Adaptive Genetic Algorithm (AGA) to solve the Optimal Feeder Routing (OFR) problem for distribution system planning. The main objective of the OFR problem usually is to minimize the total cost that is the sum of investment costs and system operation costs. We propose a properly designed AGA, in this paper, which can handle the horizon-year expansion planning problem of power distribution network in which the location of substation candidates, the location and amount of forecasted demands are given. In the proposed AGA, we applied adaptive operators using specially designed adaptive probabilities. we also a Simplified Load Flow (SLF) technique for radial networks to improve a searching efficiency of AGA. The proposed algorithm has been evaluated with the practical 32, 69 bus test system to show favorable performance. It is also shown that the proposed method for the OFR can also be used for the network reconfiguration problem in distribution system.
