The objective of this study is to establish a standard size for clothing construction and to develop a basic bodice pattern for Misses. 1. Seven kinds of pattern generally used in Korea were collected and compared in the aspect of items of necessary measurements and application of measurements to pattern drawing. 2. 209 girls aged 17 to 25 were measured on 22 items. The measurements were analyzed by calculation of means, standard deviations, co-variance, range, maximum, minimum, and correlation co-efficient between each item. the data were classified into four size groups according to bust size. Correlation co-efficient between each item were as follows: 1) Correlation co-efficients of bust to upper bust and waist were very high. 2) Correlation co-efficients of bust to shoulder width, across back and across chest were relatively high (r=.6385, r=.7493, r=.6344, respectively). 3) Bust had little correlation to neck and shoulder slope.
Myopericytoma is a benign tumor that is composed of myoid-appearing oval to spindle-shaped cells with a concentric perivascular pattern of growth. The tumor is morphologically heterogeneous and can exhibit a broad histologic spectrum. We describe a case of multiple myopericytoma occurring in the head and neck skin region with involvement of the parotid gland where it is known to occur very rarely. A 40-year-old woman noticed multiple enlarging, painless, round-shaped masses on her left cheek. The patient had experienced a similar lesion of the same area 8 years earlier which was completely excised and the pathological diagnosis was spindle cell type myoepithelioma. On a computed tomographic image, one mass involved the superficial parotid gland and was well encapsulated. Excision of the facial masses and superficial parotidectomy with facial nerve preservation were performed. A diagnosis of myopericytoma was established in light of the immunohistochemical pattern with the histopathological findings. Over the 4-year follow-up period, there was no evidence of recurrence. As many perivascular myoid neoplasms share common morphologic features with myopericytoma, we should consider the differential diagnosis, and confirm the histological findings with appropriate immunohistochemical staining. After identifying myopericytoma, it should be treated with wide surgical excision to prevent local recurrence.
Objective : The purpose of this study is to review a case of hypertension. The patient was 41 years, a male. We stabilized blood pressure after administration of Daehuanghuanglianxiexin-tang. In this paper, we review the interpretation of Shanghanlun by analyzing the patient's progress, diagnosis, treatment. Methods : Blood pressure changes have been monitored during the period. Additionally, We have observed the patients' compliance and accompanied symptom by the timeline analysis. Results : According to Shanghanlun disease pattern identification diagnostic system, Wediagnosed a Greater yang disease. The patient was treated with Daehuanghuanglianxiexin-tang for 2 months. Daehuanghuanglianxiexin-tang was able to control blood pressure to under 120mmhg / 80mmhg. During the treatment period, the accompanied symptom Stiffness and pain in posterior neck has improved, patient's compliance was good, and symptoms improved without significant complication Conclusions : Taking of the Daehuanghuanglianxiexin-tang makes patient's blood pressure controlled to safe and stable range and eases the discomfort of posterior neck pain.

Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) is the sixth most common malignancy worldwide. The molecular mechanisms involved in the development and progression of these carcinomas are not well known. Abnormalities of genomic methylation patterns have been attributed a role in carcinogenesis and local de novo methylation at tumor suppressor loci was held to be involved in silencing of tumor suppressor genes. Using Ms APPCR, we previously isolated a hypermethylated fragment corresponded to the 5' end of TPEF gene from primary liver and lung cancer cells. To confirm the inactivation of TPEF gene by hypermethylation in HNSCC, we investigated correlation between methylation pattern and expression of TPEF in 10 HNSCC cell lines. In methylation analysis such as combined-bisulfite restriction analysis(COBRA) and bisulfite sequencing, only RPMI 2650 showed none methylated pattern and another 9 cell lines showed dense methylation. The TPEF gene expression level analysis using RT-PCR showed that these 9 cell lines had not or significantly low expression levels of TPEF as compared with RPMI 2650. In addition, the increase of TPEF reexpression by 5-AzaC as demethylating agent in 9 cell lines also indicated that TPEF expression was regulated by hypermethylation. These results of this study demonstrate that epigenetic silencing of TPEF gene by aberrant methylation could play an important role in HNSCC carcinogenesis.
The purpose of this study was to compare torso pattern made by draping and flat pattern method in terms of the size of breast. The size of this study was classified as 75A and 75D according to the size of breast. Each torso pattern by the combination of the size and pattern method was compared and analyzed. In order to test the fit of the draping and flat pattern that was developed according to the size of breast, the outer appearance was evaluated. The results of the study were as follows: First, The most striking size difference was difference between the front and the back on bust line level, which decides on position of the side seam in comparison of size between draping and flat pattern of 75A and 75D. In the flat pattern, the difference between the front and the back in the size of breast was consistent regardless of a change in the size of breast. However, in the draping, the bigger breast led to the bigger difference between the front and the back on bustline level. Second, the flat pattern in 75D was evaluated to be the worst in 27 items among total 46 items for the evaluation of outer appearance in the draping and flat pattern of 75A and 75D. Third, regardless of size, the draping was evaluated to be more suitable in the areas related to neck, arm hole, and waist dart than the flat pattern. These results are suggesting that the draping is a method of reflecting characteristic of the body type more accurately than the flat pattern, and that the draping is a more suitable method than the flat pattern for the design of clothing pattern of the body type with big breast like 75D.
Recently, young men have become more muscular as they become more interested in physical figure. However, most of these muscular men have fit problems regarding ready-made clothes. In view of this, this study aimed to develop a prototype jacket pattern for muscular men. For this study, five muscular men were selected to put on existing jacket pattern for wearing tests. The regression formula, in which muscular men body measures were adopted, was applied to unsuitable parts, especially the areas determined not to be appropriate in the evaluation of existing jacket pattern wearing tests. After the first and the second jacket pattern wearing tests, the final jacket pattern suitable for muscular men was developed. The results of the study were as follows: In order to make up for the problem of the loosening of the lapel area, due to the development of the chest muscle, the chest circumference line on the chest area of the pattern was cut to be 1.0cm wide; thus, the front length was modified with an increase. The wearing tests found that a wearers felt discomfort from the tight armhole area, so the armhole depth was set to be a little lower than that of ready-made clothes. A muscular men needs much more extra quantity in this area because the upper part of the back side is projected due to the greater development of the trapezius muscle and the deltoid than in average men. Hence, concerning the standard line for the length of the back interscye, ease of 1.0cm was added to the regression equation formula {(0.371${\times}$chest circumference+3.145)/2} in order to resolve the discomfort with the back area. Also, for the biacromion length, the upper arm protruded more than the shoulder point of the jacket because of the development of the deltoid and the upper arm muscle, and it was set to be wider than the actual shoulder. In order to solve the problem of discomfort from the narrow neck area during the wearing of a jacket owing to the development of the trapezius muscle, extra ease of 0.5cm was added to chest circumference/12-0.5cm in the existing jacket prototype to the width of back of the neck, and it was corrected to be chest circumference/12.

The purpose of this study was to compare the stress distribution around the surrounding bone according to the splinted and non-splinted conditions on the finite element models of the two implant crowns with the different vertical bone level. The finite element model was designed with the parallel placement of the two fixtures ($4.0mm{\times}11.5mm$) with reverse buttress thread on the mandibular 1st and 2nd molars. As the bone quality, the inner cancellous bone and the outer 2 mm cortical bone were designed, and the cortical and cancellous bone were assumed to be perfectly bonded to the implant fixture. The splinted model(Model 1) had 2 mm contact surface and the non-splinted model(Model 2) had $8{\mu}m$ gap between two implant crowns. Two group (Splinted and non-splinted) was loaded with 200 N magnitude in the vertical and oblique directions on the loading point position on the central position of the crown, the 2 mm and 4 mm buccal offset point from the central position. Von Mises stress value was recorded and compared in the fixture-bone interface in the bucco-lingual and mesio-distal sections. The results were as follows; 1. In the vertical loading condition of central position, the stress was distributed on the cortical bone and the cancellous bone around the thread of the fixture in the splinted and non-splinted models. In the oblique loading condition, the stress was concentrated toward the cortical bone of the fixture neck, and the neck portion of 2nd molar in the non-splinted model was concentrated higher than that of 1st molar compared to the splinted model. 2. In the 2 mm buccal offset position of the vertical loading compared to the central vertical loading, stress pattern was shifted from apical third portion of the fixture to upper third portion of that. In the oblique loading condition, the stress was distributed over the fixture-bone interface. 3. In the 4 mm buccal offset position of the vertical loading, stress pattern was concentrated on the cortical bone around the buccal side of the fixture thread and shifted from apical third portion of the fixture to upper third portion of that in the splinted and non-splinted models. In the oblique loading, stresses pattern was distributed to the outer position of the neck portion of the fixture thread on the mesio-distal section in the splinted and non-splinted models. Above the results, it was concluded that the direction of loading condition was a key factor to effect the pattern and magnitude of stress over the surrounding bone of the fixture under the vertical and oblique loading conditions, although the type with or without proximal contact did not effect to the stress distribution.

The purpose of this study is to measure middle aged men's bodies around the ages of thirty-five through filly-five, whose age-group undergoes drastic changes on their body shapes. Further, body shapes are grouped based on the measurements, and pattern making methods are presented in order to effectively make up for the undesirable body features of middle-aged men. In order to develop patterns fit for middle aged men's body shapes, the regression which reflects physical characteristics was applied for the experimental shirts pattern, instead of comparative patterns which applies the same equation. For the two body types classified above(Bend-forward Type and Lean-back Type), correlation among the factors necessary for pattern design was considered and the regression was formularized accordingly. To validate the regression, the same amount of ease as in the comparative patterns was applied to the chest girth, and reasonable ease to the armhole depth and neck girth. In this way, experimental shirts patterns fit for the body types were developed. After the modification through the wearing test, the experimental shirts pattern was completed as herein.
The Shirts Blouse was produced through the process of shirts Blouse pattern making by utilizing CAD System developed by PAD Sys-tem Techologies Co. Ltd that is suitable to educational use or industrial use. The purpose of this study was to provide the basic data for the development of efficient and various design patterns by applying this pro-cess to the actual business of apparel making. The results were as follows: 1. The applicable range of CAD system 1) The repeated work can be avoided by thansforming and developing the basic pattern stored and the storage and remodification were easy. 2) The deletion duplication movement and copy of all points and lines in the pattern can be made freely and measurement of all lengths and angles the attachment of two patterns were possible. 3) The grading Library of the basic pattern was applied as it was and the time was curtailed by adding only several grading points with the change of design. 2. The problem in the use of the CAD System 1) Through the input of basic pattern by the digitizer the minute size difference was generated as each point on the curve came to be designated. 3) In grading the line of neck girth there was inconveniences to go to the plan view in order find out deviation.

Objectives: Metastasis in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) can occur in a variety of ways, and draining lymphatics and lymph nodes serve as a common route. Prior to metastasis, lymph nodes elicit an immune response to either wall off or create a favorable environment for homing of tumor cells. This immune response to tumor stimuli is visualized by recognizing various immunoreactive patterns exhibited by the lymph node. The present study aims to evaluate the role of immuno-morphologic patterns of the lymph node in neck dissection for cases of OSCC. Materials and Methods: Our retrospective study included 50 neck dissection cases of OSCC and a total of 1,078 lymph nodes. The grades of primary tumors with eight different immunoreactive patterns were compared. Vascularity and metastasis in lymph nodes were also evaluated. Results: The lymphocyte predominant pattern was the most common immunoreactive pattern found in 396 of 1,078 lymph nodes. Patterns of lymphocyte predominant (P=0.0005), sinus histiocytosis (P=0.0500), paracortical hyperplasia (P=0.0001), cortical hyperplasia (P=0.0001), and increased vascularity (P=0.0190) were significantly associated with tumor grade. Conclusion: The present study adds to the understanding of lymph node immunoreactivity patterns and their correlation with tumor grade. We recommend further study of lymph node patterns for all sentinel lymph node biopsies and routine neck dissections for OSCCs.
