In this thesis, we discuss on three theories about abdominal line of Penetration Meridian[衝脈] and focused on the text of several related chapters of "Naegyeong(內經)". Therefore, we can get the conclusion as follows. Penetration Meridian[衝脈] is the same root of the Foot Soeum Meridian[定少陰經; KI, Kidney Meridian] and its circulation course is also at one with the Foot Soeum Meridian[足少陰經]. "Naegyeong" presents two kinds of channel of Penetration Meridian at the trunk portion-abdominal and dorsal channels. And their inter-relationship would be described as relationship between the roots[本] and the manifestation[標] or meridian[line] and acupoint[point].
1. The concept about Jeok-chwiui(積聚) has been around since before "Hwangje-Naegyeong". Since "Hwangje-Naegyeong(黃帝內經)", Sik-jeok(食積) was made mention of specifically. In "Yu-gyeong(類經)", it is said that Sik-jeok is a combination of our body fluid and blood by bad eating and sleeping habits. 2. In the narrow sense Sik-jeok is indigestion and broadly it is inappropriately stagnant fluids in our body. 3. If studying on Sik-jeok in Dong-ui-bo-gam 1) It is located on the right side, in the epigastric region and between the skin and fascia. 2) The cause of Sik-jeok is indigestion, inappropriate temperature and weak stomach. 3) Symptoms of Sik-jeok are very diverse such as sick ascension, nausea, abdominal pain, headache, fever, etc. The right pulse is big and stressful. 4) Various symptoms related to digestive, respiratory, circulatory and reproductive system are represented by Sik-jeok. - Contemporarily women uterine or ovarian disease and back pain are mostly caused by Sik-jeok 5) Pediatric disease are mostly caused by Sik-jeok. 6) Treatment of Sik-jeok is light eating and if it is serious, you have to induce vomiting or diarrhea. Commonly used drugs are digestive medicine and invigorative medicine 7) To prevent Sik-jeok, you should forbid to eat until you are satisfied and wear warm clothes and continue to do spleen and genital do-in-beop.
${\ulcorner}$Hwangje-Naegyeong${\lrcorner}$ recorded The Twenty Eight Constellations(二十八宿), the polaris, the Seven stars(北斗七星) and the Five stars(五星) and it accepted the astronomy of that time. The Twenty Eight Constellations assinged seven stars in the four cardinal points according to the ecliptic and became the criterion obsevering the way of the sun and the moon. ${\ulcorner}$Hwangje-Naegyeong${\lrcorner}$ explained that The Twenty Eight Constellations bring about the change of weather and role as criterion about the Universe Gate-Earth Door(天門-地戶). The Five Elementary attachment of the Twenty Eight Constellations is based on the direction of the earth in spring. The direction of the Twenty Eight Constellations changes from the viewpoint of celestial body in other seasons. ${\ulcorner}$Gugungpalpung-pyeon(九宮八風篇)${\lrcorner}$ and ${\ulcorner}$Selo-pyeon(歲露論)${\lrcorner}$ explained that the azimuth of the polaris and the Seven stars are related to the change of weather. ${\ulcorner}$Gigyobyeondaelon(氣交變大論)${\lrcorner}$ said that we can predict the Taegwa(太過 or Bulgeub(不及) of O-un(五運) by the orbital tracks and magnitude of the Five stars. It means that the astronomical observation is correctly performed in that time. The learning of Un-Gi(運氣學) is the study on the reciprocal action of heaven and earth. Besides the changeable disease during the 24 solar terms is related to climatic change produced by movements of heavenly bodies. For this reason, I think that the understanding of astronomical background will help to research The learning of Un-Gi.
Objectives : Shanghanlon is based on the Hwangjenaegyeong(黃帝內經)'s theory. Therefore, the contents of the Naegyeong can interpret Shanghanlon's provision, Chengwuji(成無己) followed the same way. Therefore, I studied the relationship between the symptom of Shanghanlon and the defensive Gi(衛氣), I try to prove that the Naegyeong is the theoretical basis of Shanghanlon. Methods : Naegyeong explains that defensive Gi protects the outer parts of the body, and runs the outer parts of the body. So I will explain the spontaneous sweating(自汗) aversion to cold(惡寒) pain(痛症) fever(發熱) difficulty of urination(小便不利) using the function of defensive Gi. Results & Conclusions : The defensive Gi and the nutrient Gi(營氣) run together, if the defensive Gi is weak, can not protect the nutrient Gi. If the defensive Gi does not perform the function of inducing astringency(固攝), the symptom of spontaneous sweating appears. If aversion to cold is caused by the weak of defensive Gi, we use the treatment of warming the Yang(溫陽). If aversion to cold is caused by the defensive Gi can not run, we use the treatment of activating the Yang(通陽). If the Gi and Blood(氣血) is not feeding properly, the pain occurs. In this case, we use the treatment of activating the Yang(通陽). The fever is caused by the stagnation of defensive Gi. If the defensive Gi is weak, the symptom of difficulty of urination appears.
We get following conclusion in relationship of emotions and several diseases from the viewpoint of Gi(氣) movements. "Naegyeong(內經)" state mainly relationship of emotions and five organs, relationships of emotion and Gi(氣) movements in detail, but refer about symptoms of diseases that happen by anger, fear, and astonishment. "Yumunsachin(儒門事親)" supplement the relationships of emotions and five organs in "Naegyeong(內經)", and "Uihak-ipmun(醫學入門)" present medical treatments for each symptom of diseases that is led by emotion. According to "Naegyeong", as well as emotions can lead to various symptoms of diseases by affecting Gi(氣) movements, particular symptoms of diseases can affect in emotions by affecting Gi (氣) movements. Because emotions can affect to symptoms of diseases through Gi(氣) movements, we can treat with drugs that control Gi(氣) as well as with methods that control emotions in case of emotions leading to particular symptoms of diseases. Because particular symptoms of diseases can affect to emotions through Gi(氣) movements, we can treat with methods that control emotions as well as with drugs that control Gi(氣) movements in case of particular symptoms of diseases leading to emotions. We think the theory of Gi(氣) movements can be used as a principle of acupuncture as well as of drugs by examining the relationship of emotions and symptom of diseases from the viewpont of Gi(氣) movements.
"Uihakdokseogi(醫學讀書記)" is a casual work which mentions Ujaekyeong(尤在涇)'s thoughts on various problems found through extensive studying or in practice. The book does not focus on a single topic, thus the spectrum of the work is broad and is filled with problems which would interest most medical professionals. The major contents of the first volume of "Uihakdokseogi(醫學讀書記)" include differences of view on health preservation, the Five Circuit Phases[五運] and Six Atmospheric Influences[六氣], diseases, and the "Naegyeong(內經)", mentions on errors in transcription , and the gap between certain contents in "Yeongchu(靈樞)" and "Somun(素問)". U[尤在涇] asserts that Eum and Yang(陰陽) in a human should be in harmony as is the Gi(氣) of the sky and earth[天地] is, and that one should live according to the Gi(氣) of the four seasons to live a healthy life. He does not vary largely from the context of other writers on the matter of the Five Circuit Phases [五運] and Six Atmospheric Influences[六氣], and focuses on the concepts of predominant Gi[主氣], guest Gi[客氣], corresponding years[天符] , correlating years[歲會], and Taeeul corresponding years[太乙天符]. He mentions causes, symptoms, and treatments of various diseases such as cough due to asthenia of the viscera, stagnation of Yang(陽), stagnation of Eum(陰), abscess of the stomach, hard abscess of the intestines, upper emaciation, edema of the limbs, inability to raise the limbs, broken thigh, turbid fluid, inversion of Gi(氣) flow, sudden onset of fainting with cold extremities, diarrhea due to disorder of Gi(氣), and malaria. U[尤在涇] also points out faults of "Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion[甲乙經]" in the understanding of "Naegyeong(內經)".
For the purpose of profound comprehension of the Current education of Oriental medical classics in Korea, I investigated the results of direct survey of the Current education of Oriental medical classics from each professor, and came to following conclusions. 1. The education of Oriental medical classics mainly lasts for 2 years. Students have average 6.59 hours of lecture every week. The rate of full service professor reaches 74.4%. But the department of Oriental medical classics in every college takes charge of many subjects which are related to Oriental medical classics, so the appointment of large number of full service professor is essential for the improvement of educational environment of Oriental medical classics. 2. After the publishing of the common textbook of Oriental medical classics, it gradually became the main textbook. But it is necessary that we should complement the textbook and it is also necessary that we should develop another textbook for Nangyeong(難經). 3. Most professors emphasize on the cultivation of the ability which enables Oriental medical thought through precise comprehension of original text. By the way, for the purpose of motivation of studying Oriental medical classics, it is necessary to develop a lecture which is related to clinical medicine. From the same context it is also necessary to read clinical original text such as Dongui-bogam(東醫寶鑑) and Uihakimmun(醫學入門) in class.

Out of them, CV3 is most frequently used and SP6, CV6, BL23, LR2 are also used often.
Salt is a vital inorganic substance to human body and is seasoning in food. It is an absolute alternating factor on fermented food. What's more, in the oriental medicine, it is widely used to raise the pharmacological effect as a component of a prescription when processing a medicine, and when taking the medicine. Though, Importance of salt is often unaware and it is not used in the right way. focusing on "東醫寶鑑 內景篇 Donguibogam-Naegyeong" I categorized the methods of salt's prescription, dose, processing, seasoning, etc. The contents were compared and studied as well. When salt is used as a medicine, It is used as a main medicine, complimentary(aid) medicine, Jjim-Jil(hot towel or bath etc), vomiting medicine and gargling water. when taking the salt water with other medicine, depending on the type of the medicine, boiled salt water, warm alcohol or salt water, mixing powder medicine with salt water etc The methods are diverse. The reason to process medicine with salt or salt water is to bring the pharmacological Qi(energy) down to increase remedial value. When processing a medicine, kneading dough with salt water and the case using food ingredient as medicine salt was used as seasoning. Kneaded mud with salt were used to cover medicine or on the outer surface. This proves that it prevents the dryness and helps the medicine cooked even. Like this, salt is vital and highly-valued medicine in the oriental medicine. learning the right method of using salt and if it were used properly It is considered that it would increase the Pharmacological effect.
