The purposes of this study were to draw out the situational problems of the community based NGO (Non Governmental Organization) movement and to suggest development strategies for NGO movement in Korea. The study was conducted through extensive review of literature and analysis of the related data. The major findings of this study were as follows; As the development of democracy and localization process were in progress, the community based NGO movement was also developing quantitatively, however not yet qualitatively. The NGO Times Net, a internet newspaper for NGOs revealed that the number of community based NGO was 3,397 as in 2004, which was 5 times larger than 597 central based or Seoul located NGOs. However, some of the problems identified were lower participation of local people, quality of the movement compare to the original purposes of the movement, and the problems in local leadership, etc. In order to overcome various problems, this study suggested some strategies for development such as enhancement of civil education, expansion of voluntary spirits, financial support for NGOs, better mutual understanding among the GOs (Government Organizations), POs(Profit Organizations) and NGOs. Self evaluation and innovative strategies will be needed for further development of NGO movement in Korea.

Today, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) are considered to be an important actor in the policy process. Based on this fact, this study aims to analyze the perception of the housing-related NGOs in Korea. Questions were prepared around two main themes: housing welfare policy and local governance. The data were collected in 11 cities where multi-party talks on housing welfare were held in April and in May 2007. The results are as follows. When it comes to housing welfare policy, housing supply should be combined with rehabilitation policy of low-income households. The roles of local government are strongly emphasized. Stabilization of housing market is important, but concrete measures should be necessary to help those who cannot participate in housing transaction. Concerning local governance issues, local government is expected to play a great role in setting up a productive policy network; NGOs are inclined to rely on public aid; An emphasis is put on professional and academic education which can make housing welfare delivery system more effective. With the questionnaire survey results, evolution and characteristics of the NGO movements in the Korean housing sector and the recent change of housing policy orientations are explained. And, strengthening communication channel between central and local actors, participation of NGOs in the various housing surveys, establishing a regular forum on the local level, and so on, are proposed in the conclusion.

Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), whether international (INGOs) or local (NGOs), are the primary engines of humanitarian assistance in almost all national economies. Food security and these organizations are inextricably linked. They include a wide range of activities that need shared management or ventures to ensure food security in the Gaza Strip. Between December 2021 and January 2022, the survey was delivered online using Google forms. The target demographic for the research was those who worked for NGOs, whether it is local or international, in the Gaza Strip in the field of food security. Furthermore, 250 employees (N = 250) were used for this research. Women's contributions to these organizations' innovation in the Gaza Strip are highlighted in this research, which has crucial ramifications for policymakers and leaders. As a first step, NGOs should encourage more female leaders to enter this organization to boost female roles in this field. Leaders in Gaza Strip could also help promote the innovative management of top female leaders. Hence, these firms should offer training programs to assist women in their advancement in innovation.

본 연구에서는 지구적 환경문제의 해결 방식으로서 환경과학 분야의 학술활동과 같은 학문적 접근 방식과 환경 NGO 중심의 환경운동과 같은 실천적 접근 방식을 두 가지 주요 흐름이라 보고, 이들 각각의 특성을 계량정보학적 분석을 통해 파악하고 비교하였다. 지난 10년 간 환경과학 분야에서 인용된 저널의 주제범주 간 동시인용 관계를 분석함으로써 이 분야의 지식 구조를 파악하였고, 환경 NGO의 웹 사이트에서 수집된 외부링크 데이터를 이용하여 이들의 관심 분야를 확인하였다. 또한 저널 논문과 NGO 뉴스에서 추출된 핵심어를 이용한 동시출현단어 분석을 통해 하위 주제를 파악하여 이들 간의 주제적 유사성과 상이성을 구체화하였다.

본 연구의 목적은 "어린 시절 나눔 경험이 기부의도에 영향을 미치는가?", 그렇다면 "어린 시절 나눔 경험이 어떤 경로를 거쳐 기부 의도에 영향을 미치는가"를 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울 및 수도권 시민들에 대한 설문조사자료를 통해 실증분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 어린 시절 나눔 경험은 기부의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 비영리단체에 대한 신뢰 및 긍정 태도는 어린 시절 나눔 경험과 기부의도의 관계에서 매개역할을 하는 것으로 드러났다. 한편 비영리단체 특성요인을 거치는 간접효과에 비해 어린 시절 나눔 경험이 기부의도에 직접 영향을 미치는 직접효과가 상대적으로 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석결과는 기부 행위에 있어 어린 시절의 경험의 중요성을 강조하는 기존 연구들의 주장이 확인되었다는 점과 나눔 경험이 기부 의도로 이어지는 경로를 파악하였다는 점에 중요한 의미가 있다. 또한 나눔 경험이 기부의도에 미치는 직접효과의 영향이 크다는 사실은 어린 시절에 나눔을 가질 수 있도록 적극적인 노력을 기울여야 한다는 실천적 함의와 함께 본 연구에서 제시되지 않은 다른 매개경로가 존재할 수 있다는 이론적 함의를 동시에 제공한다.

본 연구는 기부문화에 대한 일반 대중들의 인식의 변화를 위해 누구나 손쉽게 다가갈 수 있는 게임을 제안하며, 이를 모바일 앱으로 구현하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 앱은 NGO 단체들의 대표적인 온라인 활동 중의 하나가 될 수 있으며, 노래 게임를 이용하기 때문에 기부에 대한 부담보다는 재미를 느낄 수 있는 게임 앱이다. 본 연구를 통해 다양한 게임 형태의 기부 앱이 많이 활성화되며, NGO단체나 기업, 그리고 SNS를 통해 대중적인 기부문화 정착에 이바지 할 것으로 기대된다.

The objectives of this study were: a) to measure the satisfaction of who volunteered in the activity, and b) to identify factors related to their satisfaction from the activities, and c) to provide policy implications to improve their satisfaction. This study was based on a literature review and empirical analyses. The empirical analyses have been completed through individual interviews with community residents who volunteer the NGO activities in the Korean Federation for Environmental Movement. The major findings from empirical analysis were as follows: As a result of correlation analysis, nine variables affecting the degree of their satisfaction were "activity time", "sex", "support of family and friends", "understanding of environmental NGO activities and fields of environmental NGO activities", "contact points for the activities", "income and vocation". As a result of multiple regression analysis, the five variables affecting the degree of their satisfaction were "understanding of the NGO activities", "income", "support of family", "marital status", "activity period" and these five variables explained 49.1% of the degree of their satisfaction. Based on the empirical findings, the following suggestions could be offered for the environmental NGO activities. 1) Environmental NGOs should offer resident-friendly programs which may help the residents participate in the NGO activities, so the volunteers can participate in the activities with their family, friends, and neighbors. 2) Environmental NGOs should provide appropriate information and educational supports to community residents, which might facilitate them to have a sound understanding of the NGO activities. And the environmental NGOs should provide diverse activity programs to facilitate participation and to formulate eligible management system for the activities. 3) To enhance the satisfaction of participation, environmental action programs should be organized and conducted through a careful consideration of the status of the community, the characteristics of residents, and so on. To provide better contact points, environmental NGOs should cooperate with religious organizations in communities, social groups, media and so on.

Atom-thick graphene membrane and nano-sized graphene objects (NGOs) hold substantial potential for applications in future molecular-scale integrated electronics, transparent conducting membranes, nanocomposites, etc. To realize this potential, chemical properties of graphene need to be understood and diagnostic methods for various NGOs are also required. To meet these needs, chemical properties of graphene and optical diagnostics of graphene nanoribbons (GNRs) have been explored by Raman spectroscopy, AFM and STM scanning probes. The first part of the talk will illustrate the role of underlying silicon dioxide substrates and ambient gases in the ubiquitous hole doping of graphene. An STM study reveals that thermal annealing generates out-of-plane deformation of nanometer-scale wavelength and distortion in $sp^2$ bonding on an atomic scale. Graphene deformed by annealing is found to be chemically active enough to bind molecular oxygen, which leads to a strong hole-doping. The talk will also introduce Raman spectroscopy studies of GNRs which are known to have nonzero electronic bandgap due to confinement effect. GNRs of width ranging from 15 nm to 100 nm have been prepared by e-beam lithographic patterning of mechanically exfoliated graphene followed by oxygen plasma etching. Raman spectra of narrow GNRs can be characterized by upshifted G band and strong disorder-related D band originating from scattering at ribbon edges. Detailed analysis of the G, D, and 2D bands of GNRs proves that Raman spectroscopy is still a reliable tool in characterizing GNRs despite their nanometer width.

본 연구에서는 소비자 관점에서 해외에서 수행한 CSR과 글로벌 NGO와의 협력 사업이 모국 소비자에 미치는 영향을 검증한다. 이를 위해 삼성전자와 현대자동차를 대상으로 2개 CSR 대상(국내 vs. 해외) ${\times}$ 2개 NGO 기관(국내 vs. 외국)의 모두 4개 유형의 CSR활동에 대한 효과에 대해 서울 소재 25세 이상의 직장인을 대상으로 실험 조사를 진행하였다. 검증 결과, 첫째, 모국 소비자들은 전반적으로 우리 기업이 수행하는 해외 CSR 보다는 국내 CSR을 긍정적으로 평가하는 경향이 발견되었다. 그러나 모국 소비자의 해외 CSR에 대한 평가는 해당 기업의 글로벌성 인식이 높아지면 상대적으로 좋아진다는 것으로 발견되었다. NGO 유형과 관련하여서는, 모국 소비자들은 국내 기관와의 협력에 대해 다소 호의적으로 평가하였다. 그러나, 구매 의도와 관련하여서는 NGO의 국적에 따라 차이가 발생하지 않았다. 흥미로운 결과로서, 해외 CSR인 경우에는 외국 NGO보다는 국내 NGO와의 협력을 더 긍정적으로 평가하였다.
