렘 콜하스 건축 디자인에서 과학주의의 표현에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Expression of Scientism in Architectural Design of Rem Koolhaas)

  • Scientism is a kind of paradigm since the birth of Modernism. Architectural design was also effected from scientism in the 1st Machine age, and being effected still In the End Machine age. But many architects in the 2nd Machine age express scientism in architectural design as a "science for kick" as SF. The design of Rem Koolhaas follows the line of Modernism which was effected from scientism in many ways. However he shows modified machine aesthetics as SF pataphysics mixed with literary imagination, and now shows new science paradigm in post-modern age. He expresses many new science theory like indeterminacy theory, chaos, catastrophe theory in his works. And those are expressed as indeterminate program that proceeds in non-linear way, rhizome in space, order out of chaos, topological metamorphosis as a catastrophe. This study analyzes the expression of scientism in architectural design of Rem Koolhaas since 1970s.nce 1970s.

  • Room temperature Li+ ion conductivities of Li3xLa(2/3-x)TiO3 system with x=0.117~0.317 were measured by complex impedance method. ICP, SEM and XRD analysis were conducted to study the main factor which influence the Li+ ion conductivity. Li+ ion conductivity seems to have a close relationship with the crystal structure of primitive cell increase as the primitive cell as close to cubic.

  • A Dual Mass Flywheel system is a evolution to the reduction of torsional vibration and impact noise occuring in powertrain when a vehicle is eit-her moving or idling. The name already explains what it is : The mass of the conventional single mass flywheel is divided. One section continues to belong to the mass moment of inertia of the engine-side. The ot-her section increass the mass moment of inertia of the transmission-side. The two masses are connected via a spring /damping system. This reduces the speed at which the dreaded resonance occurs to below idle speed. Since 1984 Dual Mass Flywheel has been de-veloped again and again. But the prosidures of de-velopment of D.M.F system didn't have had differe-nce from conventional clutch system's trial and err-or This paper presents the method for systematical design of D.M.F system with demensionless design variables of D.M.F system mass ratio between two flywheels λ. natual frequency rate of two flywheel s, ${\gamma}$and viscosity coefficient ζ. And experimental re-sults are used to prove these theoretical results.

돼지감자를 이용한 고농도 알코올발효 균주의 탐색 (Screenig and Indentification of Wild Strains for the Production of High Concentration of Alcohol from Jerusalem artichoke Tubers)

  • Yeast screening for effective production of alcohol from Jerusalem artichoke tubers as an alternative energy source was performed. Inulin assimilative strains with high alcohol tolera- nce were isolated from wild sources and cultured in the liquid media of Jerusalem artichoke powder varying its concentraion from 15 to 30%. As a result, four strains of 2,445 isolates showing the inulin assimilation were selected as alcohol fermentative and alcohol tolerant yeasts. These strains were assignated to be Kluyveromyces marxianus F043 and Kluyveromyces sp. F173, E040, and F334, respectively, by their cultural and physiological characteristics. The F043 strain produced ethanol of 98.1 g/l in the 25% Jerusalem artichoke medium for 3 days.

김치 발효에 관여하는 젖산균에서의 Bacteriocin의 검색 (Dectection of the Bacteriocin from Lactic Acid Bacteria Involved in Kimchi Fermentation)

  • Lactic acid bacteria in Kimchi fermentation were tested for inhibitory activity against Gram positive bacteria and Gram negative bacteria. The Lactobacillus brevis (KCCM 35464) was found to produce a antimicrobial substance. It showed relatively wide range of inhibition spectrum against gram positive and gram negative bacteria and maintained the inhibitory activity between pH 4.0 and pH 9.0. The antimicrobial substance was obtained in the stationary growth phase and was purified by gel chromatography. The inhibitory effect of the antimicrobial substance on sensitive bacterial strains was determined by filter paper test. The activity of antimicrobial substa- nce was stable at 75$\circ$C. On the basis of its electrophoretic pattern is SDS-PAGE, antimicrobial substance appeared as a single band of 59 KDalton.

  • The need for an active exhaust moise controller has been growing as an reinforcement of exhaust noise regulation, high power output and improvement of average fuel economy. In this study, for development of this active exhaust noise controller, the implementation of a composition of realtime control algorithm for active exhaust noise control and the construction of simulator for realtime control algorithm for active exhaust noise control has been investigated. Also, in order to implement active exhaust noise control with this simulator, the feasibility model for control of vehicle exhaust noise control is suggested.

Copper cable communication network is run by KNR, but it is processing installatio optics cable in connection with the implemental plan for high-speed network from n And, the capacity of communication channel will be guaranteed much more than een station and station, station and central headquarters when fiber optics cable is This study analyzes the image equipment of field for transmission and estimated m transmit image information of accident field to headquarters with using communicat ucture. And, the study considers implemental method of communication network for nce image transmission from dozens to hundreds kilometers.

환기용 축류송풍기의 유동해석 및 모터 위치에 따른 성능 특성 연구 (Flow Analysis and Performance Evaluation of a Ventilation Axial-Flow Fan Depending on the Position of Motor)

  • Flow analysis and performa nce evaluation have been performed for a ventilation axial-flow fan with different positions of the motor. Two different positions of motor have been tested; one is in front of the impeller and the other is behind the impeller. Flow analyses are performed by solving three-dimensional Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations through a finite-volume solver. Preliminary numerical calculations are carried out to test the performances of different turbulence models, i.e., SST model, k-$\omega$ model, and k-$\varepsilon$ model with and without using empirical wall function in the flow analysis. The validation of numerical analyses has been performed in comparison with the experimental data. The numerical results for the performance characteristics of the ventilation axial-flow fan with two different positions of the motor have been presented.

  • IPv6와 멀티캐스트 기술을 이용하여, 3D 인터페이스의 가상 학술회의를 구현하였다. 멀티캐스트를 위하여 PIM-SM 방식을 사용하였다. 사용자들에게 실제 학술회의에 참여함과 같은 가상 현실을 제공하기 위하여, VRML을 사용하여 3D 인터페이스를 제작하였다. 사용자가 회의장을 출입하는 등의 멀티캐스트 동작을 현실감 있게 하기 위하여, 그 행위에 따른 아바타를 도입하였다.
