비젼시스템을 이용한 공구마모 측정기술

  • It is well know that the interest on the on-line sensing of tool wear is groeing more and more with the aim of controlling machine tools productivity form the point of view of quality and quantity. This paper describes the sensing of the amount of flank wear with vision system. To obtain a proper image He-Ne laser generator is used as the lighting source and obtained image is processed with block processing algorithm and morphological image processing method. By means of this system it is possible to evaluate the parameters of tool wear. Experimental tests performed with this system on an NC lathe have shown good performances here described and discussed.

  • 최근, 네트워크의 발달로 인해 인터넷을 기반으로 하는 전자상거래가 활성화되고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 전자상거래는 여러 가지 장점에도 불구하고 개방형 네트워크의 특성상 거래 전반에 걸친 정보들이 자칫 노출될 수 있다는 문제점을 지니고 있다. 따라서, 이와 관련하여 정보보호 문제를 해결할 수 있는 안전한 장치가 필요한데, 이런 장치들 중에 하나로 제시되고 있는 것이 암호 알고리즘을 이용한 암호시스템이다. 본 논문에서 제안한 NC 암호 알고리즘은 이러한 전자상거래 상의 정보보호에 적합한 암호시스템으로서, 입/출력 및 암호키의 크기를 각각 128 비트로 구성하였고 F 함수 내부의 구조가 64 비트의 서브키와 2 개의 S-Box, 그리고 16 라운드로 전개되도록 설계하였다. 또한, 암호화에 민감한 영향을 미치는 키 스케줄링 알고리즘을 복잡하게 설계함으로써 계산 복잡도의 증가를 도모하였다.

Analysis of Cutter and Design of Chip Processing System for Large Scale Machine Tool (대형 공작기계용 칩 처리시스템 설계 및 커터 해석)

  • The demands of the large scale machine tools, for instance, such as planomiller, turning machine, boring machine, NC machine, have been gradually increased in recent years. As the performances of machine tools and/or cutting tools are advanced, it is possible to perform high-speed and high-precision cutting works. The effective treatment of wet chip, which is discharged from cutting works, becomes very important problems. Therefore, this study is forced on the design of large scale machine tools using CATIA V5R18 and analysis of cutter, which is considered as essential equipment in large scale machine tools, using MSC.Nastran & MSC.Patran. Especially, the relations between tolerated load of cutter, driving horse power and rpm of driving shaft in chip processing system are investigated through analysis. As the results, the reliability of design could be improved by evaluating simulated numerical values, it showed that tolerated loads of supported part and edged part of cutter are 87,000N and 14,450N, respectively.

Design of Intra Prediction Circuit for HEVC and H.264 Multi-decoder Supporting UHD Images (UHD 영상을 지원하는 HEVC 및 H.264 멀티 디코더 용 인트라 예측 회로 설계)

  • This paper proposes the architecture and design of intra prediction circuit for a multi-decoder supporting UHD images. The proposed circuit supports not only the latest video compression standard HEVC but also H.264. In addition to the basic function of performing intra prediction, this circuit has the capability of performing the reference sample filter operation defined in the H.264 standard, and the smoothing and strong sample filter operations defined in the HEVC standard. We reduced the circuit size by sharing the circuit blocks for common operations and internal storage, and improved the circuit performance by parallel processing. The proposed circuit was described at RTL using Verilog HDL and its functionality was verified by using NC-Verilog of Cadence. The RTL circuit was synthesized by using Design Compiler of Synopsys and 130nm standard cell library. The synthesized gate-level circuit consists of 69,694 gates and processes 100 ~ 280 frames per second for 4K-UHD HEVC images at the maximum operation frequency of 157MHz.

Analysis of deformation according to post-curing of complete arch artificial teeth for temporary dentures printed with a DLP printer (DLP 프린터로 출력한 임시의치용 전악 인공치아의 후경화에 따른 변형 분석)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to analyze deformation according to post-curing of complete arch artificial teeth for temporary dentures printed with a digital light processing (DLP) printer. Methods: An edentulous model was prepared and an occlusal rim was produced. The edentulous model and occlusal rim were scanned using a model scanner. A complete denture was designed using a dental computer-aided design, and the denture base and artificial tooth were separated. Ten complete arch artificial teeth were printed using a 3D printer (DLP). Complete arch artificial teeth was classified into the following three groups: a group no post-curing (NC), a group with 10 minutes post-curing (10M), and a group with 20 minutes post-curing (20M). Specimens were scanned using a model scanner. The scanned data were overlapped with the reference data. Statistical analysis was performed using one-way ANOVA analysis of variance, Kruskal-Wallis test, and Mann-Whitney U test (α=0.05). Results: Regarding the overall deviation of complete arch artificial teeth, the NC group showed the lowest mean deviation of 111.13 ㎛ and the 20M group showed the highest mean deviation of 131.03 ㎛. There were statistically significant differences among the three groups (p<0.05). Conclusion: The complete arch artificial tooth showed deformation due to post-curing. In addition, the largest shrinkage deformation was observed at 10 minutes of post-curing, whereas the least deformation was observed at 20 minutes.

5-Axis CNC Machining of Roller Gear Cam (롤러 기어 캠의 5-축 CNC 가공)

  • The roller gear cam can control the rotational follower periodically by attaching several roller on the circumstance of follower shaft and it is widely used in non-backlash and precise actuating mechanism such as index table or ATC of machine tools. For machining the roller gear cam, 5 axis CNC machine tool is used and the geometric principle of CAM mechanism must be adopted to generate the NC-code and to develop the special CAD/CAM software because there is not commercial CAM system to machine the roller gear cam. The maker of the specially developed software in domestic user is generally from Japan or Taiwan. However these softwares do not reflect the post processing technique for finish machining in the module. Also, there is some limitation for further new application of itself and it needs higher costs for further application. In this study, the CAD/CAM software to overcome these problem was developed. And its reliability was verified by applying it in 5-axis CNC machining. Finally, the experimental result conducted in the 5-axis machining show good consistency in the movement of follower along the flute and in its Size.

Blind Color Image Watermarking Based on DWT and LU Decomposition

  • In watermarking schemes, the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is broadly used because its frequency component separation is very useful. Moreover, LU decomposition has little influence on the visual quality of the watermark. Hence, in this paper, a novel blind watermark algorithm is presented based on LU transform and DWT for the copyright protection of digital images. In this algorithm, the color host image is first performed with DWT. Then, the horizontal and vertical diagonal high frequency components are extracted from the wavelet domain, and the sub-images are divided into $4{\times}4$ non-overlapping image blocks. Next, each sub-block is performed with LU decomposition. Finally, the color image watermark is transformed by Arnold permutation, and then it is inserted into the upper triangular matrix. The experimental results imply that this algorithm has good features of invisibility and it is robust against different attacks to a certain degree, such as contrast adjustment, JPEG compression, salt and pepper noise, cropping, and Gaussian noise.

  • 현대 사회에서의 생체인식 기술의 발전을 통해 홍채, 지분 등의 정보를 사용하여 사용자의 신원확인 등이 가능하게 되었으며, 생체정보의 유출/위조 방지에 대한 중요성이 높아지면서 관련 연구가 활발히 이루어 지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 홍체 전체의 이미지에 삽입하거나 동공의 중심에 가까운 DCT(Discrete Cosine Transform)영역에 삽입방법, 동공 중심과 눈매의 영역을 검출하여 거리 및 DC 계수를 통하여 삽입 위치를 선택하는 방법 등 홍채영상 속 워터마크를 삽입하여 유출/위조된 홍채 영상을 검출하는 방법에서의 워터마크 삽입위치에 관한 방법을 연구하고, CASIA Irisimage Database ver 4.0의 워터마크를 삽입하여 NC(Normalized Correlation)의 값을 비교하여 워터마크 삽입 실험을 검증하였다.

  • The purpose of t his paper is to database each factors from experimental results and develop the servo-controlled feeding system on these database. At first, spring back and bending farce are analyzed by basic theory of bending processing. In database, through practical experiment by the expert various types of bending angel and thickness of plate are tested and classified with SB34P and Aluminum. For the development of servo-controlled feeding system, automatic feeding system is designed and manufactured with ball screw and LM guide and performance of the developed feeding system is tested under condition of standard machine tool examination. Also, Mechanical consideration of mainframe in press brake, development of controller based on NC, program for servo-control are studied. Finally, based on experimental data, the system is operated and compared with theoretical data

A Study on The 5-Axis CNC Machining of Impeller (임펠러 5-축 CNC 가공에 관한 연구)

  • The manufacture of an impeller typically requires the 5-axis CNC machining, since the impeller is usually under working conditions such as high speed, high temperature, and high pressure. Thus, this study contributes to development of an exclusive CAM system for effective 5-axis CNC machining of a ruled surface type impeller. In this study, the sampled impeller is made of blades and a body and the blade consists of ruled surfaces between hub curve and shroud curve. In the post processing for 5-axis NC part program, the cutter axis direction vector is the straighten vector on ruled surface. The position of ball center in ball end mill cutter is decided on the interference check between the cutter and body surface of impeller using with the modified z-map method that z-axis is the same of cutter axis direction vector. The exclusive CAM system for an impeller developed in this study was very effective for designs and 50-axis machining of a ruled surface type impeller.
