A floristic study on the vascular plants from Juwangsan National Park was conducted 13 times in total, from March to October 2017. Based on the voucher specimens and pictures, it was revealed that the vascular plants in this region comprised 758 taxa: 112 families, 399 genera, 672 species, 4 subspecies, 72 varieties, and 10 forma. Among these plants, 221 taxa were recorded for the first time from this region. The taxa in category II of endangered plants designated by the Korean Ministry of Environment were two taxa, including Eleutherococcus senticosus (Rupr. & Maxim.) Maxim. and Epilobium hirsutum L. The rare plants numbered 5 taxa designated by National Institute of Biological Resources were also found. 20 taxa of Korean endemic plants including Corydalis alata B.U.Oh & W.R.Lee, Iris odaesanensis Y.N.Lee, and Scrophularia cephalantha Nakai were investigated in this region. 40 taxa of floristic regional indicator plants in the 3rd to the 5th degrees were identified. Naturalized plants of 55 taxa were recorded, and 3 taxa of ecosystem disturbance plants, which were Ambrosia artemisiifolia L., Aster pilosus Willd., and Lactuca scariola L., also found.
This work aims to establish the landscape ecological countermeasures to improve the sustainability of urban mountain forest and to enrich the biodiversity in twenty mountains of the Seoul Metropolitan City. Landscape ecological analysis was conducted based upon various criteria, such as area and elevation of mountains, flora, naturalized plants, vegetation, forest types, mountain trails, and public facilities. Various measures were suggested for the better maintenances of floristic diversity, introduced plants, vegetation and forest types of urban mountain forests. Sustainable recommendations for land use adminstration were developed for the preparations of a climate change-adapted urban mountain forests, as well as rational managements of ecosystem, walking trails, and public facilities within mountain forest. Rich and diverse natural vegetation as well as high floristic diversity were reported at mountains with higher elevations, larger area size, and rich landscape diversity. Mountains with low elevation, small size with easy public access, however, might require an urgent action to decrease the burdens by anthropogenic disturbances and urban development.

This study is to offer the basic information and materials for the restoration of the urban forest and the ecologically healthy and continuous green belt through the investigation and the analysis on the vegetation in Hwasan Park, Chonju-City. The flora of Hwasan Neighborhood park was composed of 86 families 230 genera, 261 species, 35 varieties, 1 formae or 298 Taxa. Among them, calculation of Pte-Q Index represented 0.60, Fisher's Index. Some characteristics of the plants in this area have represented such as Th-D1-R5 type in biological type, erect form(64.6%) in growth type, 30 taxa in naturalized plants. The life form spectra investigated from Hwasan neighborhood park was recognized as the following M"17.4%, N:11.4%, E:0.3%, Ch:0%, H:29.8%, G:6.7%, HH:0%, Th:34.2%. By the Z-M method 5 plant communities and 3 afforestation were recognized; Quercus variabilis community, Q.acutissima community, Q.serrata community, Sorbus alnifolia community, Pinus densiflora community, P.rigida afforestation, Robinia pseudo-acacia afforestation and Larix leptolepis afforestation. The actual vegetation map constructed on the grounds of the communities classified and other data. The pattern of successional trend of tree species might be suggested: L. leptoleipis, P. rigida and P. densifloralongrightarrowQ.variabilis and Q.acutissimalongrightarrowS.alnifolia and Q.serratalongrightarrowCarpinus tschonoskii community. Three measurements of species diversity (richness index(SR), Shannon-Wiener index(H'), evenness index(J')) and their relationship with community type were studied in the surveyed plant communities. Q.serrata community was higher in SR, H', J' than the other communities, whereas R.pseduo-acacia afforestation was low. Finally, The vegetation of the Hwasan neighborhood park must not allowed any more. Nothing ca be better than native states in preserving the ecosystems.tems.

According to previous research on evaluating vegetative value of wetland and RAM evaluation targeting the man-made wetland in Gunsan, Gunsan Reservoir and Gongchang Reservoir had been found to have satisfactory results while Anjeong Reservoir and Changan Reservoir had been found to have unsatisfactory results. Aimed at those reservoirs, a vegetation survey was conducted to analyze differences in terms of flora and growth habit. As for the flora, Gunsan Reservoir ranked first with 433 kinds of plants, followed by Gongchang Reservoir with 306, Changan Reservoir with 176 and Anjeong Reservoir with 167. As for specific plant species by floristic region, it was identified that Gunsan Reservoir had 18 species, larger than other wetlands and also, it had more species of naturalized plants than others. This phenomenon is related to various wetland environments resulted from wider area of Gunsan Reservoir. In the case of dormancy form, hemicryptophytes were mainly distributed in Gunsan Reservoir and Gongchang Reservoir while annual plants were mainly distributed in Anjeong Reservoir and Changan Reservoir with heavy disturbance.

The vascular plants species were summarized as 479 taxa: 89 families, 260 gents, 404 species, 66 varieties, 8 forms and 1 hybrid in the whole 6 surveyed areas of eastern parts of Jirisan (Georim Valley, Baengmudong Valley, Hanshin Valley, Jungsanri Valley, Sesokpyongjeon, and Chonwangbong). Based on the list of Korean endemic plants, 26 species were recorded: Athyrium excelsius (Aspidiaceae), Abies koreana (Pinaceae), Betula ermani var. saitoana (Betulaceae) etc. The special plants from the list of Ministry of Forest, the Forest Research Institute (1997) and the Ministry of Environment (2001), 15 species were recorded: Smilacina bicolor (Liliaceae), Disporum ovale (Liliaceae), Clematis chiisanensis (Ranunculaceae) etc. And 15 species of naturalized plants were recorded: Oenothera biennis (Onagraceae), Ambrosia artemisiaefolia (Asteraceae), Carduus crispus (Asteraceae), etc. Especially, the Korean endemic plants repeatedly appeared around mountain-trails and Ambrosia artemisiaefolia (Asteraceae), also, popular were distributed in the entire studied areas.
Vascular plants of Island Gageo in Jellonamdo were investigated 10 times from August, 2005 to August, 2011. In the result of survey, the flora of this island consists of 341 taxa totally; 93 families, 246 genera, 289 species, 7 subspecies, 36 varieties and 9 forms. Yellow-fruit bearing plants of $Neolitsea$$sericea$ which were found in this island are newly named as $Neolitsea$$sericea$ (Bl.) Koidz. for. $koreana$ M. Kim. There were 8 Korean endemic plants such as $Hosta$$yingeri$, $Impatiens$$furcillata$, $Saussurea$$pseudo-gracilis$, etc. Also 3 Korean endangered species which is designating by Ministry of Environment such as $Osmanthus$$insularis$ and $Cyrtosia$$septentrionalis$ and 9 rare and remarkable species such as $Viburnum$$japonicum$, $Asplenium$$yoshinagae$, $Broussonetia$$kazinoki$ for. $koreana$, etc. were found in this island. Furthermore, 11 taxa of naturalized plants (3.2%) were also observed in this island.
The flora of Is. Gageodo (N $34^{\circ}02^{\prime}{\sim}34^{\circ}05^{\prime}$, E $125^{\circ}05^{\prime}{\sim}125^{\circ}08^{\prime}$) in Sinangun (Province Jeollanamdo) was surveyed from April 2010 to October 2011. The vascular plants from the results of 23 field surveys were revealed as 385 taxa; in total 98 families, 258 genera, 348 species, three subspecies, 31 varieties and four forms. Fifty taxa were the first records in this region. The plants in various categories were discovered in this study. The number of Korean endemic plants were 7 taxa, and 8 taxa designated by Korean Forest Service as rare plants were investigated in this region. The plants above the third degree among the floristic regional indicator plants designated by Korean Ministry of Environment were 30 taxa. In addition, 28 taxa of the naturalized plants were recorded.
We investigated the flora of Ui Island sand dunes, consisting of 142 taxa; 52 families, 108 genera, 124 species, 15 varieties, and 3 forms. The total plants of floral region that were identified were 16 taxa; Elymus mollis, Salsola collina, and Farfugium japonicum in Class III; Ischaemum anthephephoroides, Carex kobomugi, Glehnia littoralis, Messerschmidia sibirica, Machilus thunbergii, Elaeagnus macrophylla, and Aster spathulifolius in Class I . Naturalized plants were 11 taxa; 7 families, 10 genera and the naturalization degree was 7.8%. On the Donmok seaside area, the coverage rate was about $20%{\sim}25%$ in 2002, but this time it had increased to more than three times or $65%{\sim}75%$. Also, on the Sungchon seaside area, the coverage rate was about $15%{\sim}20%$ in 2002, but this time it was $70%{\sim}75%$ as a result of the rapid increase of Zoysia macrostachya and Carex kobomugi. Pungseong sand dune area showed a monotonous state in variety and number, because of the strong wind and repetition of sand income and outcome.
