A full multigrid scheme was used in computing some eigenvalues of the Laplace eigenvalues problem with the Dirichlet bound-ary condition. We get a system of algebraic equations with an aid of finite difference method and apply subspace iteration method to the system to compute first some eigenvalues. The result shows that this is very effective in calculating some eigenvalues of this problem.

In this paper, we propose a novel computational integral imaging reconstruction (CIIR) method using round-type mapping model. Proposed CIIP method can overcome problems of non-uniformly reconstructed images caused from the conventional method and improve the resoulution of 3-D images. To show the usefulness of the proposed method, both computational experiment and optical experiment are carried out and their results are presented.

A system software on-line spectral analysis of atomic emission spectrometer. The system program consisted of a control part for the optical instruments and the spectrum analysis part the artificial intelligence method to reduce nonlinear error of the wavelengths. McPHERSON 207 Monochromator controlled GPIB communication protocol, and the detector signal was measured from PMT by using A/D Amplifier that was made by Photon_Tek. co.. HNN(Hybrid Neural Network) of artificial intelligence technique was applied to the qualitative analysis of P, Cu, Fe, Cr, and that was accurately applied to the quantitative analysis of Cd with 10 ppb level better than the conventional methods.

Objective: This study reports on the efficacy of using traditional Korean medical treatments (herbal medicine, Shinbaro pharmacopuncture, and acupuncture) for atypical facial pain.Method: The patient was treated with herbal medicines (Chungsanggyuntong-tang and Yanghyeolgeopung-tang), acupuncture, and Shinbaro pharmacopuncture. The study was measured via the numerical rating scale (NRS) and the EuroQol five dimensions questionnaire (EQ-5D) to assess the treatments’ effectiveness.Results: After the treatments, the patient’s pain was controlled and the NRS score was decreased. The EQ-5D score also showed improvement.Conclusion: This case shows that traditional Korean medical treatments could be effective in easing the clinical symptoms of atypical facial pain.

Objective: This study investigates the clinical application of Shinbaro pharmacopuncture for trigger finger.Method: Because the effect of Shinbaro pharmacopuncture has been proven in various musculoskeletal cases, we treated a patient diagnosed with trigger finger using Shinbaro pharmacopunture. A 0-10 numerical rating scale (NRS) for pain and Quinnell’s classification for trigger finger were assessed before and after three Shinbaro pharmacopuncture treatments.Results: After treatments, the patient’s pain was controlled (without any side effects), and the NRS score decreased from 8 to 1. The Quinnell’s classification of trigger finger score also improved (from 3 to 1).Conclusion: This case has shown that Shinbaro pharmacopuncture treatment could be effective for treating the clinical symptoms of trigger finger.

Objective: Although the incidence of chronic hepatitis B has decreased around the world due to widespread national preventative control measures, mortality from the same condition can increase if the condition leads to liver cancer or liver cirrhosis. In most cases, herbal medicine does not show any statistically significant effects related to liver damage, but preconceptions do exist that herbal medicine can be toxic and cause such liver damage. To investigate this situation, this study therefore investigated a patient with hepatitis B who had combined traditional Korean medicine therapy and the use of analgesic drugs during a hospitalization period.Method: A patient with hepatitis B was given combined traditional Korean medicine therapy and the use of analgesic drugs during a hospitalization period.Results: Within 26 days, the patient was free from liver damage during the hospitalization period. She was followed up with a liver function test and was discharged after her condition improved; she also reported decreased back pain.

In the past, the PWM converter had a large switching loss by hard switching and difficult to high frequency operation. The resonance converter to decrease the switching loss and EMI is required the frequency control and needed to reduce the voltage or current stress at each parts. So, this paper propose the 3-phase boost converter and the method to compensated input power factor by control the amplitude - an instantaneous value of the DC inductor current -and control the switching frequency that a modulation error by the ripple of the DC inductor current. The proposed 3-phase PWM boost converter of single phase control type can takes higher capacity and compensate the power factor by using Feed back controller at each phase for the existing 3-phase bridge rectifier type. Moreover the 3-phase full bridge type using the rectifier at each 3-phase circuit will be small size reactor and compensate input power factor by minimize harmonic components of each phase.

The total monoterpenoid content of the pine litter layer and the availability of these compounds as inhibitors/stimulators on Polysphondylium violaceum of cellular slime molds were investigated. In order to determine the several monoterpenoids in the natural environment, we examined their concentrations in fresh, senescent, and decaying needles from 3 pine species (Pinus densiflora, P. thunbergii, P. rigida) by litter bag method. Total monoterpenoid content was highest in the fresh needles, but also remained relatively high in senescent needles. The effect of monoterpenoids identified from Pinus plants on the growth of P. violaceum was studied. We tested four concentrations (1, 0.1, 0.01, and $0.001\;{\mu}g/{\mu}L$) of each compound by using a disk volatilization technique. Each compound was treated after germination of spores of P. violaceum. All of the compounds at $1\;{\mu}g/{\mu}L$ concentration had a very strong inhibitory effect on cell growth of P. violaceum. Fenchone at all concentrations, myrcene, verbenone, bornyl acetate, and limonene at low concentrations stimulated the growth of P. violaceum. These results suggest that inhibitory or enhancing effects of selected monoterpenoids depend upon the concentration of the individual compound.

The study aims to investigate factors influencing business households' decision for borrowing credit: the case of commercial banks in Tra Vinh Province, VietNam. The study was conducted by collecting data from 300 business households traded at four commercial banks in Tra Vinh province (Viet Nam bank for agriculture and rural development, Tra Vinh Branch; Viet Nam jointstock commercial bank industry and trade, Tra Vinh Branch; Asia joinstock commercial bank, Tra Vinh Branch; Viet Nam jointstock commercial bank for foreign trade, Tra Vinh Branch). By the use of the Binary Logistic regression method, the research found out that the factors influencing to borrow c redit of household business's decision including: banks brand names, loan interest rates, service attitude, and loan procedures. Of those, the banks brand names and lending interest rates have the strongest impacts on borrow credit decision of business households at commerc ials banks in Tra Vinh province. Since then, the study has proposed solutions to improve access to credit of business households in commercial banks in Tra Vinh province in the coming time, such as: developing a bank brand; the development of flexible lending interest rate policies; improve service style of bank staff; at the same time, simplifying lending procedures.

An iterative learning control scheme is incorporated to the computed torque method as a means to enhance the accuracy and the flexibility. A learning rule is constructed by utilizing a gradient descent algorithm and data compressing techniques are illustrated. Computer simulation results show a good performance of the scheme under a relatively high speed and a heavy payload condition.
