N,N-Dimethyl-N-Dodecyl-N-(2-methylbenzimidazoyl) Ammonium Chloride 미셀 용액속에서 p-Nitrophenyl Carboxylic Ester의 가수분해 (Hydrolysis of p-Nitrophenyl Carboxylic Ester in N,N-Dimethyl-N-dodecyl-N-(2-methylbenzimidazoyl) Ammonium Chloride Micellar Solution)

  • New functional surfactant, N,N-dimethyl-N-dodecyl-N-(2-methyl benzimidazoyl) ammonium chloride(DDBAC) having benzimidazole(BI) functional group have been synthesized and the critical micellar concentration of DDBAC measured by surface tentiometry and electric conductivity method was $8.9{\times}10^{-4}M$. Micellar effects in DDBAC functional surfactant solution on the hydrolysis of p-nitrophenylacetate(p-NPA), p-nitro-phenylpropionate(p-NPP) and p-nitrophenylvalerate(p-NPV) were observed with change of various pH (Tris-buffer). The pseudo first rate constants of hydrolysis of p-NPA, p-NPP and p-NPV in optimum concentration of DDBAC solution increase to about 160, 280 and 600 times, respectively, as compared with those of aqueous solution at pH 8.00(Tris-buffer). It is considered that benzimidazole functional moiety accelerates the reaction rates of hydrolysis because they act as nucleophile or general base. In optimum concentration of DDBAC solution, the rate constants of hydrolysis of p-NPP and p-NPV increase to about 1.5 and 3.0 times, respectively, as compared with that of p-NPA. It means that the more the carbon numbers of alkyl group of substrates, the larger the binding constants between DDBAC micelle and substrates are. To know the hydrolysis mechanism of p-NPCE(p-NPA, p-NPP and p-NPV), the deuterium kinetic isotope effects were measured in $D_2O$ solutions. Consequently the pseudo first order rate constant ratios in $H_2O$ and $D_2O$ solution, $k_{H_2O}/k_{D_2O}$, were about $2.8{\sim}3.0$ range. It means that the mechanism of hydrolysis were proceeded by nucleophile and general base attack in approximately same value.

New Species of the Genus Pseudanthessius from Tropical Waters (Copepoda, Cyclopoida, Pseudanthessiidae)

  • Nine new species of Pseudanthessius are described from tropical waters, five of which from the Philippines (P. boholensis n. sp., P. angustus n. sp., P. firmus n. sp., P. ardius n. sp., and P. lativentris n. sp.), two from Vietnam (P. remicaudatus n. sp. and P. nodosus n. sp.), and one each from Micronesia (P. kosraensis n. sp.) and the Thai coast of the Andaman Sea (P. fossulicolus n. sp.). Pseudanthessius dentatus Kim, 2000 which was known originally from the Korean coast of the Yellow Sea, and P. planus Kim, 2007 originally from the Moluccas, are rediscovered on the Thai coast of the Andaman Sea and the Philippines, respectively.

  • Let A(p) be the class of functions $f\;:\;z^p\;+\;\sum\limits_{j=1}^{\infty}a_jz^{p+j}$ analytic in the open unit disc E. Let, for any integer n > -p, $f_{n+p-1}(z)\;=\;z^p+\sum\limits_{j=1}^{\infty}(p+j)^{n+p-1}z^{p+j}$. We define $f_{n+p-1}^{(-1)}(z)$ by using convolution * as $f_{n+p-1}\;*\;f_{n+p-1}^{-1}=\frac{z^p}{(1-z)^{n+p}$. A function p, analytic in E with p(0) = 1, is in the class $P_k(\rho)$ if ${\int}_0^{2\pi}\|\frac{Re\;p(z)-\rho}{p-\rho}\|\;d\theta\;\leq\;k{\pi}$, where $z=re^{i\theta}$, $k\;\geq\;2$ and $0\;{\leq}\;\rho\;{\leq}\;p$. We use the class $P_k(\rho)$ to introduce a new class of multivalent analytic functions and define an integral operator $L_{n+p-1}(f)\;\;=\;f_{n+p-1}^{-1}\;*\;f$ for f(z) belonging to this class. We derive some interesting properties of this generalized integral operator which include inclusion results and radius problems.

  • For $0<p{\leq}{\infty}$ and a convex body $K$ in $\mathbb{R}^n$, Lutwak, Yang and Zhang defined the concept of dual $L_p$-centroid body ${\Gamma}_{-p}K$ and $L_p$-John ellipsoid $E_pK$. In this paper, we prove the following two results: (i) For any origin-symmetric convex body $K$, there exist an ellipsoid $E$ and a parallelotope $P$ such that for $1{\leq}p{\leq}2$ and $0<q{\leq}{\infty}$, $E_qE{\supseteq}{\Gamma}_{-p}K{\supseteq}(nc_{n-2,p})^{-\frac{1}{p}}E_qP$ and $V(E)=V(K)=V(P)$; For $2{\leq}p{\leq}{\infty}$ and $0<q{\leq}{\infty}$, $2^{-1}{\omega_n}^{\frac{1}{n}}E_qE{\subseteq}{\Gamma}_{-p}K{\subseteq}{2\omega_n}^{-\frac{1}{n}}(nc_{n-2,p})^{-\frac{1}{p}}E_qP$ and $V(E)=V(K)=V(P)$. 비트 일부로부터 Multi-Prime RSA와 Prime Power RSA의 개인키를 복구하는 알고리즘 (Key Recovery Algorithm from Randomly-Given Bits of Multi-Prime RSA and Prime Power RSA)

  • Multi-Prime RSA와 Prime Power RSA는 변형 RSA 시스템의 일종이며, 이 중에서 Multi-Prime RSA는 서로 다른 r(r>2)개의 소수 $p_1,p_2,{\cdots},p_r$에 대하여 $N=p_1p_2{\cdots}p_r$을, Prime Power RSA는 서로 다른 소수 p, q와 양의 정수 r(>1)에 대하여 $N=p^rq$를 각각 모듈러스로 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 Heninger와 Shacham에 의해 제안된 방법을 사용하여 이 시스템들에 대한 안전성을 분석하며 구체적으로, 만약 $p_1,p_2,{\cdots},p_r$의 전체 비트 중 $2-2^{1/r}$의 비율에 해당하는 비트가 랜덤하게 주어지면 $N=p_1p_2{\cdots}p_r$이 다항식 시간 안에 소인수분해될 수 있음을, 그리고 p, q의 전체 비트 중 $2-{\sqrt{2}}$의 비율에 해당하는 비트가 랜덤하게 주어지면 $N=p^rq$가 다항식 시간 안에 소인수분해될 수 있음을 각각 보인다. 또한 $N=p_1p_2p_3$, $N=p^2q$, $N=p^3q$에 적용한 실험 결과를 통해 본 논문의 결과를 검증한다.

하수의 N/P 비가 Botryococcus braunii 증식과 영양염류제거에 미치는 영향 (Effect of N/P Ratio on the Biomass Productivity and Nutrient Removal in the Wastewater using Botryococcus braunii)

  • 본 연구는 미세조류 생장에 중요한 영향인자인 N/P ratio가 미세조류의 생장과 하수의 영양염류 제거에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 실험을 위하여 1-70까지의 다양한 N/P ratio를 준비하였으며, 미세조류는 Botryococcus braunii를 사용하였다. 실험결과 바이오매스 생산을 위하여 필요한 N/P ratio는 5-30이었다. TN의 제거율은 N/P ratio 1-30까지는 82%, 31-70까지는 73-78%의 제거율을 나타내어 TN 제거를 위한 N/P ratio는 1-30까지가 가장 좋았다. TP의 제거율 N/P ratio 1-20까지는 80% 이상의 높은 제거율을 나타내었지만, 20 이상부터는 급격하게 하락하여 50 이상에서는 22% 정도의 제거율로 변화가 없이 일정하였다. 따라서 바이오매스 생산량과 하수에서의 TN, TP의 제거를 위한 N/P ratio는 1-30이 가장 좋은 비율로 나타났다. TN, TP 제거율과 바이오매스의 생산량 상관관계는 TP 제거율과 바이오매스 생산량의 상관계수가($R^2$) 0.9126으로 상관관계가 매우 높았으나, TN 제거율과 바이오매스 생산량과의 상관관계는 찾을 수가 없었다. 이는 하수에서 TP의 함량이 TN의 함량보다 바이오매스 생산량에 밀접한 관계가 있음을 알 수 있다.

C-P-N-D 생태계와 ICCT (Information, Communication, Contents Technology) (C-P-N-D Ecological System and ICCT (Information, Communication, Contents Technology))

  • 본 연구는 현행 ICT 거버넌스의 주요 논리를 분석하여 콘텐츠가 성장할 수 있는 '창조산업 생태계 및 친화적 콘텐츠 거버넌스 구축'을 위한 정책대안을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위해 ICT 생태계가 주장하는 인터넷 중심의 콘텐츠(C)-플랫폼(P)-네트워크(N)-디바이스(D) 부문의 문제점을 진단하고, 이를 포괄하는 보다 거시적 개념으로서 콘텐츠산업 생태계(c-P-N-D에서 C-p-n-d로의 진화)'의 근거 논리를 전개하였다. 연구결과 ICT 생태계 주장의 논리는 IT 차원의 통합에 집중됨으로서 콘텐츠(C) 경쟁력의 원천과 핵심 속성(창작자, 창조성 등) 등이 경시되어, 콘텐츠(C) 부문이 P-N-D 각 부문보다 작은 개념으로 인식될 가능성이 매우 크다. 즉 콘텐츠(C)는 Large C가 아닌 Small c 개념으로 c-P-N-D 가치사슬체계로 간주되어 상대적으로 창의적 콘텐츠가 소홀하게 다루어질 우려가 있다. 따라서 콘텐츠 핵심인 창작이 순수예술과 함께 어우러진 문화적 감수성에서 발현될 수 있도록 'ICT생태계(c-P-N-D)에서 콘텐츠산업생태계(C-p-n-d)로의 진화'가 모색되어야 할 것이다.

종별 동체 유리아미노산 (Free Amino Acid Composition of Tap Root in Panax species)

  • Free amino acid (FAA) compositions in the central part (pith-xylem : P-X) and the outer part (phloem-cortex : P-C) of root were investigated for P ginseng (P.g), p. quinque-folium (P.q) an, B P nutoginsen (P.n) by an amino acid analyzer. Total free amlno acids content (TFAA) was highest in p.맥 and lowest in p.n. The TFAA of P-Xs were higher than those of P-Cs in these Panax species except p.n. The higher the TFAA in P-X, the higher the ratio of TFAA in P-X to that in P-C. Seven- teen free amino acids and ammonia were identified, and four unknown peaks appeared before the usual amino acids eluted. The total aspartic acid equivalent of these unknown peaks was corresponded to 77% of known TFAA in P-C of p.n, 17% in P. n, and 7% in p.q. The pattern of unknown peaks of p.g was different from p.q and similar to P.n. In all samples six major amino acids and ammonia accounted for 90~95% of TFAA. Arginine was comprised from 29% (P.n) to 43% (P.g) by amole as amino acid and from 50 to 71% by amole as nitrogen (N amole) in TFAA. Ammonia was the second abundant one by amole and the third by Npmole. Histidine was the second by Npmole. Praline was one of major FAA in p.q. Pattern similarity of FAA composition (excluding Arg and Am) by simple correlation was closer between P-C of p.g and P-X of p.q than between both P-Xs and quite different between the P-X of p.g and that of p.n. The pattern similarities of major FAA percent abundance excluding Arg and Am were significant only between P-X and P-C of the same species. Arginine content (amole) had positive correlation (r=0.859, p=0.05) with Arg/Am among species. Ammonia content was higher than arginine in p.n. Tryptophan content was greatest in p.n among species and higher than lysine only in p.n. The ratios of TFAA to N(W/W) were in the range of 3.89~4.14 for TFAA and 3.61~3.92 for TFAA plus ammonia.

NADH 센서를 이용한 생물학적 동시 탈질.질산화공정에서 질소, 인제거 영향인자 및 거동 평가 (Evaluation of Affecting Factors on N and P removal in Biological SND (Simultaneous Nitrification and Denitrification) Process with NADH Sensor)

  • In this study, the factors affecting biological N and P removal using SND (simultaneous nitrification and denitrification) process were investigated and evaluated to examine the possibility of treating N and P through SND with NADH by surveying N and P traces in an aeration tank. Variations of $NH_4^+$-N+$NO_3^-$-N concentration were used to estimate the degree of SND in each point (P2, P3, P4, P5) of the aeration tank and these variations showed that denitrification efficiency in P2 (front zone), nitrification and denitrification efficiencies in P4 (middle zone) were 67%, 86% and 39%, respectively. When $PO_4^{-3}$-P concentration was analyzed in each point of the aeration tank, it was shown that $PO_4^{-3}$-P concentration coming into P2 was 1.25 mg/L, which increased to 2.22 mg/L by P release in P2 zone and then decreased to 0.74 mg/L by P uptake in P4. Consequently, we were able to estimate which high P removal efficiency observed in this study was caused by biological phosphorus removal. To determine the operating factors affecting effluent T-N, we analyzed the correlation among FN/M ratio, C/N ratio, Temp., SRT etc and these results showed that the correlation among FN/M ratio, C/N ratio and Temp was not high. However, the relationship of SRT and other parameters (effluent $NH_4^+$-N and effluent BOD) and the short SRT could have an affect on effluent $NH_4^+$-N and so effluent BOD could be increased. Thus, SRT operation should be controlled over 10 days. The results for analyzing the correlation between SRT and influent $NO_3^-$-N in order to investigate the operating factors affecting effluent T-P showed that T-P or $PO_4^{-3}$-P was not highly correlation with SRT, whereas $PO_4^{-3}$-P concentration increased along with increasing $NO_3^-$-N concentration into P2. Based on these results, we concluded, using regression analysis (R2=0.97), that effluent $PO_4^{-3}$-P concentration depends on $NO_3^-$-N concentration into P2.

Novel Activation by Electrochemical Potentiostatic Method

  • Fabrication of good quality P-type GaN remained as a challenge for many years which hindered the III-V nitrides from yielding visible light emitting devices. Firstly Amano et al succeeded in obtaining P-type GaN films using Mg doping and post Low Energy Electron Beam Irradiation (LEEBI) treatment. However only few region of the P-GaN was activated by LEEBI treatment. Later Nakamura et al succeeded in producing good quality P-GaN by thermal annealing method in which the as deposited P-GaN samples were annealed in N2 ambient at temperatures above $600^{\circ}C$. The carrier concentration of N type and P-type GaN differs by one order which have a major effect in AlGaN based deep UV-LED fabrication. So increasing the P-type GaN concentration becomes necessary. In this study we have proposed a novel method of activating P-type GaN by electrochemical potentiostatic method. Hydrogen bond in the Mg-H complexes of the P-type GaN is removed by electrochemical reaction using KOH solution as an electrolyte solution. Full structure LED sample grown by MOCVD serves as anode and platinum electrode serves as cathode. Experiments are performed by varying KOH concentration, process time and applied voltage. Secondary Ion Mass Spectroscopy (SIMS) analysis is performed to determine the hydrogen concentration in the P-GaN sample activated by annealing and electrochemical method. Results suggest that the hydrogen concentration is lesser in P-GaN sample activated by electrochemical method than conventional annealing method. The output power of the LED is also enhanced for full structure samples with electrochemical activated P-GaN. Thus we propose an efficient method for P-GaN activation by electrochemical reaction. 30% improvement in light output is obtained by electrochemical activation method.
