  • In this paper, we consider the higher order nonlinear neutral delay difference equation of the form $\Delta^{\gamma}(x_{n}+px_{n-\gamma})+f(n, x_{n-\sigma_1(n)}, x_{n-\sigma_2(n)}, \ldots, x_{n-\sigma{_m}(n)})=0$. We give an integrated classification of nonoscillatory solutions of the above equation according to their asymptotic behaviours. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of nonoscillatory solutions with designated asymptotic properties are also established.

  • The melanin-concentrating hormone (MCH), a cyclic hypothalamic peptide composed of 17 amino acids, was initially identified in chum salmon (Oncorhynchus keta) as a regulator of pigmentation. Mammalian MCHs are cyclic hypothalamic peptides composed of 19 amino acids that regulate food intake and energy homeostasis. The present study examined not only MCH expression of different tissues but also the melanohore aggregation and intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ influx of fMCH and the other MCH. Real-time qPCR showed that MCH expressed specially in the brain, gonad, and ovary, and expression of MCH was observed during the developmental stages. In the application of synthetic fMCH and both types of synthetic fMCH, dN-fMCH and dC-fMCH, scale melanophore induced significant changes in aggregation activity with various concentrations of MCH. Also, compared to hMCH and sMCH, fMCH exhibited a 36~99.85% increase in relative potency (%), whereas aggregation of dN-fMCH and dC-fMCH remained in a high concentration. However, dispersion was induced rapidly according to be low concentration of dN-fMCH and dC-fMCH. We show that fMCH and its derivates were bound human MCHR1 and rat MCHR expressed in HEK293T cells with nano-molar affinity and are likely to be ligand-induced to mobilize intracellular $Ca^{2+}$. These results may provide new ligands for binding assay with MCHew ligands, as a structure similar to the mammalian MCH structure was discovered in fish. Once the fMCH receptor system is in place, it can be compared to the MCH system of mammals in terms of MCH function.

  • The distrust about chemical plant safety have been increased by occurring the major industrial accidents. Chemical plants have become more and more enlarged and sophisticated to increase production amount and decrease cost. So hazard of industrial accidents also have been increased. In this situation, quantitative risk assessment is activated by introducing OCA(Off-site Consequence Analysis). So it is possible to analyze the objective hazard of chemical plant. Currently OCA focus on the end point of hazardous area by fire/explosion/dispersion. But in this case, it is possible to analyze the industrial accident effect to near the chemical plant but hard to consider the actual hazard by frequency and population density. This study analyzes the validity about application of F-N curve to OCA by compare end point with F-N curve about accident.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate PR-VEP characteristics on the perception function(S/N) and the judgement function(T/F) of MBTI. The 136 study participants, over 20 years old adults, were examined by PR-VEP and MBTI test for two months in July and August in 2013. PR-VEP was conducted in O1 and O2 by 32 channels EEG system and MBTI test was measured by Form-M online. We found that the time interval(Duration) between N75 and P100 of PR-VEP was 5.49 ms significantly shorter in the group preferring S indicator. And the latency until N75 was 4.83 ms significantly shorter in O1 and 4.27 ms shorter in O2 in the group preferring F indicator. According to these, the characteristics of groups preferring S and F indicator have influence on visual cognitive function, which is meaningful that the interpretation of brain-science can be used with recognition/judgement function of MBTI.

  • Let E be a uniformly convex Banach space and K be a nonempty closed convex subset of E. Let ${\{T_i\}}^N_{i=1}$ be N nonexpansive self-mappings of K with $F\;=\;{\cap}^N_{i=1}F(T_i)\;{\neq}\;{\theta}$ (here $F(T_i)$ denotes the set of fixed points of $T_i$). Suppose that one of the mappings in ${\{T_i\}}^N_{i=1}$ is semi-compact. Let $\{{\alpha}_n\}\;{\subset}\;[{\delta},\;1-{\delta}]$ for some ${\delta}\;{\in}\;(0,\;1)$ and $\{{\beta}_n\}\;{\subset}\;[\tau,\;1]$ for some ${\tau}\;{\in}\;(0,\;1]$. For arbitrary $x_0\;{\in}\;K$, let the sequence {$x_n$} be defined iteratively by $\{{x_n\;=\;{\alpha}_nx_{n-1}\;+\;(1-{\alpha}_n)T_ny_n,\;\;\;\;\;\;\;\;\; \atop {y_n\;=\;{\beta}nx_{n-1}\;+\;(1-{\beta}_n)T_nx_n},\;{\forall}_n{\geq}1,}$, where $T_n\;=\;T_{n(modN)}$. Then {$x_n$} convergence strongly to a common fixed point of the mappings family ${\{T_i\}}^N_{i=1}$. The result presented in this paper generalized and improve the corresponding results of Chidume and Shahzad [C. E. Chidume, N. Shahzad, Strong convergence of an implicit iteration process for a finite family of nonexpansive mappings, Nonlinear Anal. 62(2005), 1149-1156] even in the case of ${\beta}_n\;{\equiv}\;1$ or N=1 are also new.

  • Let $B^{n+1}$ be the unit ball in the complex vector space $\mathbb{C}^{n+1}$ with the standard Hermitian metric. Let ${\Sigma}^n={\partial}B^{n+1}=S^{2n+1}$ be the boundary sphere with the induced CR structure. Let f : ${\Sigma}^n{\hookrightarrow}{\Sigma}^N$ be a local CR immersion. If N < 3n - 1, the asymptotic vectors of the CR second fundamental form of f at each point form a subspace of the CR(horizontal) tangent space of ${\Sigma}^n$ of codimension at most 1. We study the higher order derivatives of this relation, and we show that a linearly full local CR immersion f : ${\Sigma}^n{\hookrightarrow}{\Sigma}^N$, N $\leq$ 3n-2, can only occur when N = n, 2n, or 2n + 1. As a consequence, it gives an extension of the classification of the rational proper holomorphic maps from $B^{n+1}$ to $B^{2n+2}$ by Hamada to the classification of the rational proper holomorphic maps from $B^{n+1}$ to $B^{3n+1}$.

  • S $m_{2}$F $e_{17}$ $N_{x}$ film magnets using a S $m_{2}$F $e_{17}$ target were prepared at $N_{2}$ gas atmosphere using a Nd-YAG laser ablation technique. The effect of nitrogen pressure, deposition temperature, pulsation time and film thickness on the structure and magnetic properties of S $m_{2}$F $e_{17}$ $N_{x}$ film were studied. Increasing the nitrogen pressure up to 5 atm. was confirmed to lead the formation of complete S $m_{2}$F $e_{17}$ $N_{x}$ compound. Optimized magnetic properties with the nitrogenation temperature ranging over 500-53$0^{\circ}C$ could be obtained by extending the nitrogenation time up to 4 hours. Relatively low coercivities of 400~600 Oe were exhibited from the S $m_{2}$F $e_{17}$ $N_{x}$ films having the thickness of 50~100 nm while 4$\pi$ $M_{s}$ of 10~12 kG could be achieved. In-plane anisotropic characteristic, which was the basic goal in this study, was achieved by controlling the nitrogenation parameters.ameters.ers.ameters.
