성격 유형에 따른 주거평가 및 리모델링 선호특성에 관한 연구(II) (A Study on Residential Evaluation & Remodeling Preference Characterisitics with the Personality Type(II))

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the personality type and the residential evaluation & remodeling preference in interior finishes and floor layouts. The subjects of this investigation were collected through questionnaire from two hundred and twelve adult residents who live in Seoul, Korea. By using the rotated component matrix of varimax method & the one way anova method of spss for windows Rel. 11.0 in my former study, there are analyzed several significances in eight personality types; E(extraversion), I(introversion), S(sensing), N(intuition), T(thinking), F(feeling), J(judging) and P(perceiving) in MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator). This study shows that actual floor plans, remodeling preference plans & interior finishes materials of each personality type was analyzed several significances by Chi-Square. As results, during consulting the client in the residential projects, personality test may take precedence over everything else, and then designer can consider it for hidden client needs in the residential interiors & remodelings. Designers might understand the nature of personality in order to design wisely for clients. This method will allow the designer & consultant to more fully understand clients' preference.

창의적 학교교육경영을 위한 비행청소년의 성격유형에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Personality Types of Juvenile Delinquents for Creative School Education Administration)

  • 본 연구는 비행청소년과 일반 중고등학생 집단을 MBTI 성격유형 검사를 이용하여 성격유형에 관한 비교를 실시하였다. 이를 통하여 비행청소년들의 성격유형을 알고 학교교육경영에 있어 비행청소년에 대한 성격유형의 창의적 지도 방안을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 연구 대상은 법무부 서울남부대안교육센터에 입교한 비행청소년 102명이며, 일반 중고등학생 집단으로는 비행청소년집단과 남녀, 나이 동수로 이루어진 서울시 지역 2개교에서 추출된 102명의 학생이다. 본 연구에 사용된 검사 방법은 한국판 MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator)GS형을 사용하였다. 비행청소년 집단과 일반 중고등학생 집단의 비교연구를 위하여, 연구 처리방법으로 SPSS for Window 12.0을 사용하였고, 빈도분석(Frequency analysis)과 교차분석($x^2$)을 실시하였다. 그 결과를 종합해보면, 비행청소년 집단은 일반 중고등학생 집단에 비해 외향형(E)과 인식형(P)을 선호하고, 기질비교에서는 SP형을 선호하는 것으로 알 수 있다. 이러한 비행청소년을 지도하는 대안으로는 첫째, P(인식형)의 교육방법, 지도방법을 우선 적용해야 하고, 둘째, 비행청소년들이 입소하게 되는 대안교육센터의 프로그램의 개선이 필요하며, 셋째, 학교현장에서는 전 재학생을 대상으로 MBTI 유형검사를 정기적으로 실시하여 비행청소년들 뿐만 아니라 일반 재학생들의 유형분포도를 참고하고, 이를 바탕으로 생활지도를 하여야 할 것이고, 넷째, E-P, S-P 유형들의 기질을 사회적응적, 긍정적으로 표출 할 수 있는 학교 내 동아리/특별활동반 등을 적극적으로 운영하여야 할 것이며, 마지막으로, 학교 이외의 기관에서 지원받을 수 있는 프로그램(예. 서울시청소년교육원의 청소년 지도사 참여수업, 나르샤프로그램 등)을 적극적으로 활용함으로써 E-P, S-P성향의 비행유발율이 높은 청소년들이 학교에서 느끼는 중압감을 긍정적으로 배출하고, 자신을 알 수 있는 프로그램에 참여하여 자신을 조절할 수 있도록 유도하는 것이 필요하다.

MBTI 기본 프로그램이 간호대학생의 대인관계와 집단응집력에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effect of MBTI (Myers and Briggs Type Indicator) Basic Program on the Interpersonal Relationship Between Nursing Science Major Students and Their Cohesion)

  • This study is intended to suggest fundamental data necessary for developing MBTI program that can help improve interpersonal relation skills of nursing science major students and their cohesion. This study is pre-experimental research by one group pretest-post test design to examine the effect of MBTI(Myers and Briggs Type Indicator) basic program on the interpersonal relationship between nursing science major students and their group cohesion and the relationship between interpersonal relationship and their group cohesion. I selected 39 of sophomore students in the department nursing science of K university in I metropolitan city as test group. 35 of them joined post-test. Pretest and MBTI basic program were done before conducting MBTI program. Collected data were analyzed by SPSS window 7.5. The difference in test group before and after conducting program was examined by paired t-test. The correlation between interpersonal relationship and group cohesion was measured by using Pearson Correlation Coefficient. The findings are as follows. $\cdot$ The difference before and after conducting MBTI program by sub-factors of interpersonal relation: There was no significant difference, as the average figure of interpersonal relation in test group was 87.22 before conducting MBTI and 85.08 after conducting MBTI respectively. The average figure of sensitivity among the sub-factors of interpersonal relation was 7.71 before conducting MBTI and reduced to 7.08 after conducting MBTI and there was significant difference between before and after conducting MBTI(t=-2.484, p=.018) $\cdot$ The difference in group cohesion before and after conducting MBTI program: The average figure of group cohesion in test group was 56.68 before conducting MBTI and increased a bit to 56.80 after conducting MBTI\, but there was no significant difference between them. $\cdot$ The relationship between interpersonal relationship and group cohesion before and after conducting MBTI: As the relationship between interpersonal relationship and group cohesion before and after conducting MBTI is examined, there was positive correlation of the significance level. p<.05 before conducting MBTI(r=.320, p=.047), and of the significance level, p<.01 after conducting MBTI(r=.780, p=.000). The investigation on the relation between sub-factors of group cohesion and of interpersonal relation before conducting MBTI basic program revealed that there was positive correlation between openness, reliability, friendliness and satisfaction, and group intervention, between receptivity among group members and reliability, and between group atmosphere and satisfaction. The investigation on the relation between sub-factors of group cohesion and of interpersonal relation after conducting MBTI basic program revealed that there was positive correlation between openness, communication, understanding, friendliness and satisfaction. and group intervention. There was positive correlation between receptivity among group members and openness, communication, understanding, friendliness and satisfaction. Based on the above findings, I realize that MBTI basic program is essential to the improvement of group cohesion. In addition, it is shown that the sub-factors of interpersonal relation such as openness, communication, friendliness, satisfaction, and understanding, and the sub-factors such as group intervention and receptivity among group members are major factors to improve interpersonal relationship and group cohesion. So, the future MBTI program should include sub-programs that deal with the above factors to improve interpersonal relationship and group cohesion.

MBTI 검사지를 이용한 선호지표별 보행변수의 비교 분석 (Comparision and analysis about gait parameters based on personality types through MBTI Test)

  • This study was designed to understand gait pattern on the MBTI personality types by analyzing and figuring out specific charges, which includes analyzing gait parameter which was shown in walking movement. The personality types was measured by the standard MBTI(Myers- Briggs Type Indicator) test and gait analysis make used of GAITRite program. The objects of research were convenience sampled student of M College. Temporal and spatial parameters were calculated based on the MBTI personality types test using measured data, 68 items and SPSS pc/program was conducted to find out specific changes and obtainted the results as follows. There was not found significant in rate of swing phase and stance phase, step length, stride length, base of support, toe in/out between Extraversion group and Introversion group. But Extraversion group was significantly higher than Introversion group in velocity and cadence(p<.05). Sensing group was significantly more than iNtuiton group in cadence. There was not found significant in all parameter between Thinking group and Feeling group, Judging group and Perceiving group.

군중 시뮬레이션을 위한 외향과 내향 성격을 적용한 에이전트 설계 (Extraversion & Introversion Type Agent Design for Crowds Simulation)

  • 건물의 평면 디자인이나 도로의 디자인과 같은, 보행자를 고려해야 하는 디자인 혹은 그와 유사한 문제의 최적화를 위해서 군중 시뮬레이션이 필요한 경우가 있다. 이때 보행자 에이전트에 대한 모델이 필요하며 에이전트 디자인을 얼마나 신중하게 하느냐가 군중시뮬레이션의 결과에 많은 영향을 미친다. 기존의 보행자 모델은 에이전트로 하여금 이성적 행동을 하도록 하는 데에 초점이 맞추어져 있었다. 하지만 사람은 심리경향을 갖고 있으며, 이를 고려한 보행자 모델은 좀 더 현실과 가까운 군중 시뮬레이션이 가능하도록 해 준다. 본 논문에서는 MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator)의 척도 중 하나인 외향과 내향 척도를 기존의 보행자 모델에 적용시켰다. 외향과 내향을 하나의 변수로 보고 그에 따른 행동 패턴의 결정에 대한 함수를 만들었다. 그리고 이 모델을 사용하여 2 차원의 군중시뮬레이션을 해 보았다. 이 시뮬레이션은 출구를 가지고 있는 평면구조를 사용하여 위급한 상황일 때를 가정하여 에이전트들이 출구로 빠져나가도록 하는 것이다.

의과대학생의 성격유형과 전공 및 대학생활 만족도 (Personality types of medical students and their satisfaction with major and student life)

  • Objective: The goal of this study was to investigate personality preferences of medical students and to examine the relationship between personality profiles and their satisfaction with major and student life. Methods : The MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), which measures personality preferences, was administered by medical students (n = 94) who began to qualify from the Yonsei University College of Medicine in 2007. The resulting personality profiles of the medical students were correlated with scores of the satisfaction with major and student life Results: First, there were more preference types of Introversion(61.71%), Sensing(67.66%), Thinking(73.41%) and Judging(61.71%) than Extraversion (38.29%), Intuition (22.34%), Feeling (26.59%) and Perception(38.29%), Most medical students are personality type ISTJ(24.21%), followed by ESTJ(17.02%), Second, students with the preference for Extraversion and Intuition were more satisfied with their major and student life. Third, the preference for Judging showed higher scores in the satisfaction with major. Conclusions: This study might give implications for the psychological wellbeing and successful studying of medical students.

항공사서비스센터 직원의 개인특성과 서비스태도에 관한 연구 - K항공사 서비스센터를 중심으로 - (A Research on Airline Customer Service Employees' Characters and their Service Attitudes focusing on K-Airline Service center)

  • This paper tried to research a field employee's character, its correlation to service attitude and its impact on service using MBTI characteristics functional indicators, working at airline customer service center. It is proved employees with Sensing Feeing(SF), Intuition Feeling(NF) and Intuition Thinking(NT) have showed lower satisfaction on their duty than employees with Sensing Thinking(ST) have. In analysis of MBTI characteristics' impact on organization-related characteristics, it is also found out employees with Sensing Feeing(SF) and Intuition Feeling(NF) have showed lower trust than employees with Sensing Thinking(ST) have. Considering other controled factors, this paper found that the more job satisfaction employees have, employees with 1 to 5 years of experience on their duty showed more significant service-focused attitude. Moreover, deputy directors or high-ranked people with the higher job satisfaction were seemed to be more service-oriented.

FPS 게임에서의 캐릭터 성격 분석 연구 -FPS 게임 팀 포트리스2를 중심으로- (a Study on Character Types for FPS game -based on Team Fortress2 -)

  • 1인칭 슈팅 게임인 FPS(First-person shooter)게임은 시각적 사실성이 뛰어난 고급 그래픽이 특징으로 컴퓨터 성능의 향상과 게임 제작 기술의 발전으로 꾸준히 성장해 가고 있다. 하지만 대부분의 FPS 게임은 동일 캐릭터에 무기만 바꾸는 방식의 단조로운 자유도를 제공하며 이로 인해 사용자의 입장에서는 장기간 게임진행시 흥미를 잃기 쉽다. 이러한 단조로운 게임방법을 변화시키고자 1999년 밸브(Valve) 사(社)의 '팀 포트리스(Team Fortress)' 게임은 FPS 게임 사상 최초로 병과 시스템을 도입하여 다양하고 개성 있는 캐릭터 구성으로 큰 주목을 받았다. 이를 분석해 FPS 게임을 개발할 때 다양한 병과 캐릭터가 플레이어에게 얼마나 더 게임에 대한 몰입과 흥미를 주는지 분석하려 한다. 이 분석을 위해 '팀 포트리스'의 후속 작 '팀 포트리스2(Team Fortress 2)'의 병과 캐릭터를 성격 유형 분석에서 보편적으로 많이 쓰이고 사람들에게 친숙한 MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) 방식으로 파악하여 각 병과별 캐릭터 설정이 게임 플레이어와의 성격에 따라 얼마나 더 몰입도와 흥미를 줄 수 있는지 도출해 내려한다.

성격유형별 의복 라이프스타일과 의복구매행동 (Clothing Life-Style and Clothing Buying Behavior on Personality Types)

  • The purposes of this study were to find the difference of clothing life-style and to examine clothing buying behaviors on personality types. Personality types were identified using Myers-Briggs Type indicator(MBTI). The data were collected from 360 female adults using a questionnaire to clothing lifestyle and clothing buying behavior. The data were analysed with factor analysis, one- way ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test. Results are summarized as follows: First, 'Fashion-oriented', 'self-regulate-oriented', 'activity-oriented', 'economic-oriented', 'social-oriented', 'leisure-oriented' and 'conservationoriented' clothing life-style had a significant difference of psychological types. Second, Extroverted(E) or Sensation(S) or Feeling(F) types regarded significantly higher in 'VMD', 'store atmosphere', 'famous brand name and store name' as criteria for store selection than combination types(IN, IT, NT) of Introverted(Ⅰ), iNtuition(N), Thinking(T). Third, Sensation Judgement types(SJs) of a patron temperament preferred a 'plan-oriented' life-style and considered 'famous brand name and store name' important. Sensation Perceiving types(SPs) of an artist temperament had an 'unplanned' clothing life-style and a significantly higher impulsive buying orientation than SJs.

Personality Characteristic-based Enhanced Software Testing Levels for Crowd Outsourcing Environment

  • Crowd-based outsourcing is an emerging trend in testing, which integrates advantages of crowd-based outsourcing in software testing. Open call format is used to accomplish various network tasks involving different types of testing levels and techniques at various places by software testers. Crowd-sourced software testing can lead to an improper testing process as if it does not allocate the right task to the right crowd with required skills and not choose the right crowd; it can lead to huge results, which become time-consuming and challenging crowd-source manager for the identification of improper one. The primary purpose of this research is to make crowd-based outsourced software testing more effective and reliable by relating association between the software tester, personality characteristic, and different levels of software testing, i.e., unit, integration, and system, in order to find appropriate personality characteristic for required testing level. This research has shown an observed experiment to determine which software testing level suits which personality characteristic tester in a crowd-based software testing environment. A total of 1000 software testers from different software houses and firms in Pakistan were registered to perform tasks at different software testing levels. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) test is used to identify each tester's personality characteristic involved in this research study.
