Association Analysis of Myosin Heavy-chain Genes mRNA Transcription with the Corresponding Proteins Expression of Longissimus Muscle in Growing Pigs

  • The goal of this work was to investigate the correlations between MyHC mRNA transcription and their corresponding protein expressions in porcine longissimus muscle (LM) during postnatal growth of pigs. Five DLY ($Duroc{\times}Landrace{\times}Yorkshire$) crossbred pigs were selected, slaughtered and sampled at postnatal 7, 30, 60, 120, and 180 days, respectively. Each muscle was subjected to quantity MyHCs protein contents through an indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), to quantity myosin heavy-chains (MyHCs) mRNA abundances using real-time polymerase chain reaction. We calculated the proportion (%) of each MyHC to total of four MyHC for two levels, respectively. Moreover, the activities of several key energy metabolism enzymes were determined in LM. The result showed that mRNA transcription and protein expression of MyHC I, IIa, IIx and IIb in LM all presented some obvious changes with postnatal aging of pigs, especially at the early stage after birth, and their mRNA transcriptions were easy to be influenced than their protein expressions. The relative proportion of each MyHC mRNA was significantly positively related to that of its corresponding protein (p<0.01), and MyHC I mRNA proportion was positively correlated with creatine kinase (CK), succinate dehydrogenase (SDH), malate dehydrogenase (MDH) activities (p<0.05). These data suggested that MyHC mRNA transcription can be used to reflect MyHC expression, metabolism property and adaptive plasticity of porcine skeletal muscles, and MyHC mRNA composition could be a molecular index reflecting muscle fiber type characteristics.

혁신저항모형에 기반한 마이데이터 서비스 사용자의 지속사용의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the continuous Intention of MyData Service Users Based on the Innovation Resistance Model)

  • 본 연구에서는 금융 분야에서 마이데이터 서비스를 이용하는 사용자가 인식하는 특성을 고려하여 지속적인 사용에 대한 이해와 혁신저항에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 목적으로 둔다. 또한 사용자 특성에 대한 인식과 지속적인 사용에 대한 이해력을 높이고 혁신에 대한 사용자의 저항을 해결하는데 미치는 영향에 대한 관계를 탐구하고자 한다. 이를 위해 전문설문기관을 통해 상대적 이점, 인지된 위험, 복잡성, 신뢰성, 인지된 용이성, 신뢰성 등 혁신저항 요인의 상대적인 영향을 조사였으며, 요인간의 관계를 실증분석을 통해 살펴본다. 본 연구의 결과에 따르면 마이데이터 서비스에 대한 저항을 최소화하기 위한 노력을 기울여야 하며, 특히 혁신저항 요인들 중 인지된 용이성, 상대적 이점, 인지된 위험, 복잡성 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 혁신저항을 낮추기 위해서는 인지된 용이성의 강화, 상대적 이점 감소, 위험과 복잡성에 대한 인식 관리가 필수적이라 할 수 있다.

금융 마이데이터의 전략적 활용에 관한 사례 연구 (A study on strategic use of MyData: Focused in Financial Services)

  • 모바일 기기의 확산과 ICT 기술로 핀테크 혁신이 더욱 가속화 될 것으로 전망되는 가운데, 최근 금융의 화두는 '디지털 전환'이며, 여기에는 빅데이터의 활용이 주요 요소라 할 수 있다. 특히 오픈 뱅킹이라는 인프라가 마이데이터와 마이페이먼트 산업과 연계되어 금융정보의 이종결합, 자산 조회 및 이체 기능이 결합되는 오픈 파이낸스 시대가 도래고 있다. 마이데이터는 데이터 활용을 통한 가치 창출에 주목하여 나타난 개념으로, 데이터의 주체가 능동적인 자기결정권을 갖는데 의의가 있는데 현재 국내에서도 마이데이터가 시행 되며 전략적 활용방안을 모색되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 마이데이터 관련 비즈니스 사례를 분석하여 향후 금융의 디지털 전환을 위한 전략적 활용방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 해외 주요국가에서 마이데이터 개념을 적용한 PSD2 및 오픈뱅킹 정책을 적극 추진하고 있는 가운데 성공적인 비즈니스 모델(Mint, Information Bank, Strands)의 분석을 통해 데이터 기반 비즈니스의 타당성을 확인하고 공통점을 모색하기 위한 사례 연구를 수행하였다. 거래의 효율성과 다양성을 향상시키는 사업 모델을 제공한다는 관점에서 마이데이터는 기존의 사업 모델을 개선할 수 있는 잠재력이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 마이데이터는 본인 중심의 모든 데이터로부터 개별적인 데이터 생태계를 쉽게 구현하고 관리할 수 있어야 하는데 개인이 스스로 이를 관리, 통제, 활용하는 것은 현실적으로 어렵다. 따라서 마이데이터 오퍼레이터 또는 마이데이터 서비스 제공자 역할을 할 수 있는 비즈니스 모델이 적극적으로 모색될 필요가 있겠다.

  • Purpose The importance of data as a key resource of the intelligence revolution is being highlighted, among all those phenomena MyData is attracting attention as a key concept by organizations and individuals that eventually leads the data economy. In this regard, this study was started to contribute to the successful settlement and continuous growth of the domestic MyData industry, which has just entered the system. Design/methodology/approach To develop and test all proposed casual relationships within the research model, we used the Value-Attitude-Behavior(VAB) model as a basic framework. A total of 385 copies were used for the final analysis, and for SPSS 25.0, MS-Excel 2016, and AMOS 24.0 to summarize respondent demographic characteristics, measurement model, and structural model. Findings Findings show that all proposed hypotheses were supported with the exception of the moderating effect of organizational information transparency between data controllability and perceived value, and between data controllability and attitude toward MyData service.

  • Mobile Telemedicine은 의료진과 환자간의 정보교환을 제공하기위한 일반적인 기술로 사용되어지고 있다. 또한 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크의 기술을 활용하여 의료진은 원격지 환자의 다양한 생체데이터를 획득하고자 한다. 본 논문은 임베디드 리눅스 운영체제를 기반으로 Intel X-Hyper PXA255 ARM CPU를 이용하여 구현한 RFID 리더 시스템에서 RFID 리더에서 수신되어진 환자의 태그 정보를 무선 LAN을 통하여 인터넷에 연결되어진 병원의 MySQL서버에 전달하는 기능을 수행하는 RFID 리더 플랫폼의 설계 및 구현을 위한 것이다. 구현되어진 임베디드 리눅스 기반의 RFID 리더는 크게 RFID 모듈, ARM 프로세서, RS-232 인터페이스, 무선 LAN 등으로 구성되고, 제안된 논문은 RFID의 개념 및 리더의 동작원리를 소개하고 임베디드 리눅스기반에서 QT 및 MySQL을 사용하여 구현되어진 리더플랫폼을 제안하고 구현한다.

  • 일반적으로 R 언어는 작은 크기의 자료분석에 적당하다. 이 연구에서 데이터베이스에 저장된 대용량의 자료를 R 언어를 통해서 접근하는 방법에 대해서 알아보았다. 실제 자료를 사용하여 MySQL, Oracle 또는 PostgreSQL 데이터베이스 서버에 저장된 자료에 접근하는 예를 제공하였다.

Real -Time ECG Signal Acquisition and Processing Using LabVIEW

  • The incidences of cardiovascular diseases are rapidly increasing worldwide. The electrocardiogram (ECG) is a test to detect and monitor heart issues via electric signals in the heart. Presently, detecting heart disease in real time is not only possible but also easy using the myDAQ data acquisition device and LabVIEW. Hence, this paper proposes a system that can acquire ECG signals in real time, as well as detect heart abnormalities, and through light-emitting diodes (LEDs) it can simultaneously reveal whether a particular waveform is in range or otherwise. The main hardware components used in the system are the myDAQ device, Vernier adapter, and ECG sensor, which are connected to ECG monitoring electrodes for data acquisition from the human body, while further processing is accomplished using the LabVIEW software. In the Results section, the proposed system is compared with some other studies based on the features detected. This system is tested on 10 randomly selected people, and the results are presented in the Simulation Results section.

A Study on Energy Platform Using Data in the US: Based on Opening Platform Model

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze various energy platforms using data in the US and to suggest directions and implications. Some of the leading energy platforms are selected and analyzed based on the opening platform model. We focus on the case analysis of the US utility companies. In case of the horizontal open platform, Green Button sponsor's 'Connect My Data (CMD)' driven by the government invites the utility companies to jointly develop the sponsor's data solution. In case of the vertical open platform, the certification program 'Share My Data (SMD)' allows backward compatibility, because the technical improvement is minimal. The utility companies benchmark Amazon's three-sided market mediation and prefer platform and category exclusivity. For the former, they have data analytics companies like Enervee, Opower and for the latter, they have electronics manufactures and energy service providers (ESPs) like Distributed Energy Resources (DERs). Based on this US case study, we suggest the energy platforms to open their platform for renewable energy supply, energy conservation, high-efficiency products, and residential DER dissemination. To successfully implement the government's energy transition policy, the US platforms should be benchmarked as a business model. Especially, it is needed for them to coordinate a platform ecosystem. To ensure trust in the products and services offered on the marketplace platform, platform's certification program is helpful.

보건의료데이터 활용을 위한 국내 법률검토 및 의료분쟁에 대한 조정 제도 고찰 (The Study on the Review of Domestic Laws for Utilizing Health and Medical Data and of Mediation for Medical Disputes)

  • South Korea has the most advanced technology in the Fourth Industrial Revolution era because of its high-speed Internet commercialization. However, the industry is shrinking due to its various regulations in building and its utilization of personal information as big data. Currently, South Korea's personal data utilization business is in its early stages. In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, it is difficult for startups to use data. There are various causes here. Above all, legal regulations to protect personal information are emphasized. This study confirms that transactions of personal medical records through My Data can be made. Moreover, it confirms that there is a need for a mediating role between stakeholders. This study lacks statistical access in the process of performing stakeholder roles. However, personal medical records will be traded safely in the future, and new subjects will enter the market. Furthermore, the domestic bio-industry will develop. Through this study, various problems were derived in establishing Medical MyData in Korea. Moreover, it looks forward to continuing various studies in the health care sector in the future.

Reliability and Validity of an Iranian Version of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire for Patients with Multiple Myeloma: the EORTC QLQ-MY20

  • Background: Reliable and validated instruments are needed in order to study the quality of life in myeloma patients. This study aimed to translate and explore the psychometric properties of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) myeloma module (QLQ-MY20) in Iranian patients. Materials and Methods: Two hundred and fifteen patients with multiple myeloma (MM) were recruited from Imam Khomeini Hospital, Tehran. A standard forward-backward translation procedure was implemented. Participating patients were asked to complete the EORTC QLQ-C30 and the QLQ-MY20 three times, at study entry, after two weeks, and again after three months. Data were tested for the range of measurement, internal consistency, test-retest reliability, known group comparison, responsiveness and factor structure. Results: Mean age of the patients was 60.7 years. No floor and ceiling effects were seen for the QLQ-MY20. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ was greater than 0.80 for all three multi-item scales (ranging from 0.82 to 0.93). All four scales had test-retest reliability of 0.85 or greater. Results of the confirmatory factor analysis that the hypothesized 3-scale measurement model of the QLQ-MY20. Moreover, the Persian version for the QLQ-MY20 differentiated between subgroups of the patients in terms of beta-2 microglobulin, fracture and performance status. The responsiveness of the QLQ-MY20 to change over time was confirmed within 3 months. Conclusions: the results of our study indicate that our Iranian version of the QLQ-MY20 is a feasible, reliable and valid questionnaire for assessing the condition-specific quality of life of patients with MM.
