In the fuzzy control for the multi-variable system, it is difficult to obtain the fuzzy rule. Therefore, the parallel structure of the independent single input-single output fuzzy controller using a pairing between the input and output variable is applied to the multi-variable system. The concept of relative gain matrix is used to obtain the input-output pairs. However, among the input/output variables which are not paired the interactive effects should be taken into account. these mutual coupling of variables affect the control performance. Therefore, for the control system with a strong coupling property, the control performance is sometimes lowered. In this paper, the effect of mutual coupling of variables is considered by tile introduction of a simple compensator. This compensator adjusts the degree of coupling between variables using a neural network. In this proposed neuro-fuzzy controller, the Neural network which is realized by back-propagation algorithm, adjusts the mutual coupling weight between variables.

In this paper, a drive circuit for a bifilar-wound hybrid step motor considering mutual inductance and back-emf is investigated. For the suppression circuit, the varition of average torque and torque ripple due to the effect of mutual inductance and back-emf is presented. In order to improve the performance of the motor, a new control scheme is also proposed.

There are many studies which reveal most of the accidents are related to pilot errors. Looking at each phase of flight, the accidents which occurred at the segments of take-off and landing consist of 70%, cause these phases need precise cooperations between pilots and ATC specialists to make sure every instructions understood and instruments to be normal. Therefore, the accidents of these phases leave great regrets and the price was enormous to people and equipments. Until now, most of the studies investigate the accident itself and very few show the relationships between pilots and air traffic controllers. This study analyzes the impacts of inter-dependence to mutual trust, cooperations and relationship efficiency between them who play important parts in flight. Based upon the findings, the inter-dependence has an effect on mutual trust and the latter influences to cooperations. Also, mutual trust and cooperations have a leading role in the relationship efficiency. It implies that mutual trust, cooperations, and the degree of inter-dependence are important factors to improve the relationships between them.

The counter-diffusion of two gaseous substances permeating a polymeric membrane has been investigated both experimentally and theoretically. The aim of the study was to find mutual effects, if any, that could influence the permeability and diffusivity data. The experimental data were obtained with an isostatic permeameter operating at ambient pressure and 303 K: helium, nitrogen, carbon dioxide methane were used as permeating gas at different partial pressure; helium or nitrogen as equilibrating or carrier gas. No evident mutual effect of the counter-diffusing gas was observed. The theoretical analysis gave some insight into the phenomena and it was concluded that at near-atmospheric pressures, and in the absence of swelling phenomena no mutual interaction exists. On a theoretical basis any mutual interaction between diffusing and counter-diffusing gases could only occur: i) at high pressures , when the free movement of permeating gas molecules within the polymer is hindered by the counter-diffusing gas; ii) when a large part of the free volume fraction is occupied by the counter--diffusing gas; iii) swelling phenomena modify the structure and free volume fraction of the polymer.

This study evaluates the difference of visual effect according to pant style and geometric pattern. The researcher made 28 stimuli-combination of four pant Stiles (classic, baggy, skinny, and bell-bottom) and seven geometric pattern (large vertical stripe, small vertical stripe, large horizontal stripe, small horizontal stripe, large check, small check, and hound's tooth check). The test involved 96 female college students. The stimuli were made with the i-Designer computer program. The panels tested the computer screen images of all manikins wearing pants. A 7-point scale was used to evaluate each image. For the data analysis, ANOVA and Duncan-test were applied along with an SPSS program. The results of this study are as follows. Three factors (lower-body compensation, abdomen highlight, and length compensation) influenced the visual effect pant styles and geometric patterns. The skinny style and large vertical stripe evaluated positively in elongated height and leg length and a slimmer overall body. It was shown that the vertical stripe pattern was evaluated as more positive than the horizontal stripe pattern in the visual effect; particularly, the results showed distinct aspects in the classic pants style. The mutual influence of the visual effect (according to pants style and geometric pattern) were indicated as two factors of lower-body compensation and length compensation. A more positive visual effects resulted in a higher mutual influence on pant style and geometric pattern.

In this study, the LINC project is finished and a new LINC+ has begun. For the settlement of mutual cooperation in universities and corporations, the main agenda of LINC+ project, this research attempts to find factors that are important to industries rather than the measurement of performance closely related to universities. From the companies' perspective, it is not easy to measure how much they are benefiting from mutual cooperation, although there are quantitative performance determinants such as sales, employment and export growth. Therefore, while estimating the satisfaction of industrial-educational cooperation and simultaneously estimating the satisfaction's effect to the development of companies, we try to estimate the contribution of satisfaction towards company development through subjective indicators. Through these efforts, we will raise the credibility of government policies through the cultivation of talented individuals who are customized to the industry through the cultivation of "Industry-Leading Universities" that we intend to pursue through the implementation of LINC+ business, and small and medium enterprises. Innovative support and the cooperation of industry-universities will increase job creation and ensure consistent industry. We will contribute to the mutual development of universities and industries.

PicoCast is a recently proposed short-range wireless communications technology that supports both low rate sensor/control data and high speed data such as voice and video traffic in the personal space, defined by the user-centric space of radius tens of meters, with one unified protocol. When the users are in the same area, personal spaces defined by each user may overlap. Since these PicoCast piconets may simultaneously operate, mutual interference is unavoidable. It is necessary to investigate the effect of mutual interference on data transmission and to conduct research on minimizing the interference among PicoCast devices. In this paper we analyze the effect of mutual interference between PicoCast piconets based on data throughput using OPNET network simulator. We have implemented the PicoCast protocol and measured the average throughput and packet loss rate.

This study focused on investigating factors of partnership formation for transactional enterprises on supply chain to form a transactional relationship centering around textile industry in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. The study also investigated the effect of the factors of partnership formation for mutual cooperation among textile manufacturers in Daegu and Gyeongbuk on partnership outcomes, and finally provided basic information that help enterprises form efficient partnership relationships with related manufacturers. The sample of the study was manufacturers of yarn, dyeing, weaving, process and fabrics in Daegu and Gyeongbuk that are registered on Korea Federation of Textile Industries. The total of 81 responses were used for data analyses, and factor analyses, regression analyses, and ANOVA were utilized appling SPSS 14.0 Package. The results of the research were as follows: First, among partnership formation factors mutual confidence was highly related to presentation of exclusive technological information, efforts to keep relationships between enterprises, presentation of information, and transactions between reliable enterprises that were formed despite of any losses. Second, it was also important that enterprises exchange and communicate their business goals with partners by having common goals. Third, it was also important that problems and damages were informed to and were shared with transaction companies. If conflicts between enterprises occurred, they can be smoothly solved based on the partnership formation. Fourth, enterprises form partnerships with transaction companies by considering their operation abilities. Fifth, transactions with enterprises which are mutually reliable and have superior technology and information contributed a lot to economic outcome. Lastly, the study revealed that among partnership formation factors mutual confidence to transaction companies influenced outcome of mutual confidence profit creation, outcome of technology & information efficiency were closely related to the ability to solve generated problem, and an important factor of the outcome of technology & information profit creation was communication.
