Choice & Satisfaction Factors of Musical as Culture Contents (문화콘텐츠로서 뮤지컬의 선택 및 만족요인)

  • This study was to investigate the choice & satisfaction factors of a musical as culture contents, and I will recognize it about relation between these two factors. To achieve this, I did a survey with spectators of . Factors analysis and simple/multi regression analysis are utilized as data analytical methods. The choice factors of musical showed that it was five factors extracted a price and facilities, production and directing, marketing, musical quality, OSMU. The satisfaction factors of musical was four factors extracted a production company and trust of advertisement, artistic presentation, harmony of All members of the cast, level of leading actor or actress. The choice of musical influenced satisfaction factors showed that it as performance prices and facilities level is reasonable, and spectators expect high satisfaction regarding a performance. Analysts say that, Pricing to be exposed to quality of a work in order to raise musical satisfaction shall be performed. Also, An exaggerated performance marketing is negative to satisfaction of an audience compare with quality of a work it was confirmed to affect. This study suggests that important point is planning, directing and marketing of a musical.

  • Currently the terminology 'rock musical' is used too freely, and thus academic definition and research of its stylistic features are required. This thesis attempts to clarify the historical context of rock music and rock muscal, and to study the musical and dramatic feature of rock musical. This thesis also attempts to catagolize the musical types of the songs used in the contemporary rock musial ; 1) authentic rock music, 2) psudo-rock music transformed from other musical styles, and 3) amalgamation of rock music and other musical styles. All this attempts is aimed to find a possibility of creation of new musical.

  • This study tries to segment musical market to provide Korean musical marketers with marketing strategy implication. We focused university students who are known to form attractive market in the musical market through existing studies. For this research, we divided whole musical market using various variables such as musical audience' demographic, lifestyle and purchasing behavior variables. Using mixture model, we could divided as four significant segments : 'the type of musical mania', 'the type of musical preference', 'the type of musical medium' and the type of indifferent musical'. Each segment showed different musical purchase behaviors, lifestyle and demographical characteristics, also we suggested marketing strategy to each segment. Our research results can contribute to understand objectively musical market.

  • A musical that combines singing, dancing, and acting is a popular musical drama created by the development of opera. These musicals are the cultural and industrial sectors that are commercially compatible with artistry and popularity. Musicals remind you of exciting and colorful live performances. This musical industry has been loved by the public as it was created not only on stage but also as a musical film. The film industry has been striving to express the musical's unique originality through film screens. In terms of acting, acting in musical films should be implemented to suit musical films. In order to do so, the characteristics of movie acting and musical acting will be understood at the same time and true musical film acting can be implemented on the screen when each genre is fused. In order to act as a musical film, it is necessary to understand the functional characteristics of each genre and apply the necessary functions on the spot.

  • The objective of this paper is to verify the usefulness and validity of ICT-based elementary education for musical composition using multimedia technology. Cearing with the characteristic of musical education, multimedia technology, which has made dazzling progress thanks to the rapid development of computer for the last several year, is expected to be a new alternative to overcome various problems of musical education and enhance students` musical function and knowledge. In particular, if ICT-based musical education is introduced in teaching musical composition, in which many elementary school techers feel difficulties, significant education effects will be produced. ICT-based musical education method in the paper identified imitation and problems in traditional theory-based learning and musical composition class using musical instruments and, as a part of resolving the limitations and problems, instructed elementary students in how to use a computer program and applied the program to musical composition class. As a result, the method maximized learning effect and improved stusents` ability to create melodies in a short term compared to traditional teaching methods.

  • In Korea the musical was granted very close an art however recently it is rapidly take the position a new trend of the mass culture industry with some of promoted lifestyle due to increased income and with spreading consumer culture of well-being. This study is to consider the musical as a way of OMSU to observe how to produce the musical the with the original one that recorded as the best animation program with highly broadcasting rate as it is broadcasted on TV. It is belongs to a category of musical or a performance, has a good feature of children's program with arranging the broadcasting. Through this study, developing performance art to OSMU, it wishes to utilize people that produce the performance applying the contents of animations and cartoons, to make value added This study is for presenting an effective way of OSMU, with studying and researching the production process of the musical . The original source the cartoon and animation is transferred to a musical with a technical feature of digital audio-visual, with characterizing to an attractive musical characters from the original characters, and with humorize twisted story structure based on the basic storyline.

  • The objective of this study is to suggest problems and complementation of Korean curriculum by comparatively analyzing curriculums of domestic/foreign musical-related departments. In order to compare differences in domestic/foreign curriculums, selecting musical-related departments of domestic colleges with four-year course and 2 or 3-year course, and also five musical-related schools in the US and another five schools in France, the actual lesson status of dance curriculum was researched. In the results, for the development of Korean musical, it would be necessary to reorganize its curriculum. First, the systematic dance curriculum suitable for musical site would be needed. Second, the dance technique lesson suitable for diversified musical expressions should be strengthened. Third, teaching methods for the characterized musical dance would be necessary. Above all, we need effective education method concerned with performance venues. Musical students are facing difficulties in performing acting, singing, and dancing at the same time. In reality, it is even tough to learn a single area among them. For the original Korean-style musical that could be imitated by no one, the systematic curriculum of college is very important.

  • This paper analyzed the marketing success factors of the Chinese musical , which entered the world musical market for the first time in the history of Chinese musicals, and investigated the positive effects of the success of on the development of Chinese musicals. First, five important elements of musical marketing were determined as the analysis criteria and through this, we were able to derive that the marketing promotion was achieved by establishing a systematic strategy in the techniques of 'positioning', 'ticket promotion', 'PR strategy', 'producer', 'OSMU' as the success factors of the musical . The case of in Chinese musicals can be regarded as the first successful case by professional marketing. Due to the results of these achievements, the Chinese government and local musical support systems were established, and in recent years, Chinese musicals have been qualitative. It has been confirmed that Chinese musicals are growing rapidly in recent years in terms of quality and industry. It is expected that more academic studies related to Chinese musicals will be conducted through this study, and it is the purpose of this study to be used as a material that can contribute to the creation of Chinese musical with evenly high workability and productability in the future.

  • A guitar, a piano, and a violin are popular musical instruments for User Created Contents(UCC). However the patterns of audio signal generated by a guitar and a piano are too similar to differentiate. The difference between two musical instruments can be found by analyzing the frequency variation per each band near signal peaks. The distribution of probability on the existence of signal peaks based on Cumulative Histogram were applied to musical instrument recognition. Experiments with statistical models of the frequency variation per each band near signal peaks showed the 14% improvement of musical instrument recognition.
