체험형 박물관의 일본 사례 조사연구 (A Case Study of Museums by Experience in Japan)

  • The function and role of museum has changed focused on the experience program and visiter's participation in this time. In Comparison with Korean museums, like this visiter's personal experience has special effects through experience programs of museum in Japan. So, I researched cases of Japan and the survey on experience museum programs should summarized three characteristics as followings implied cultural desire about museum directly or indirectly. 1. Experience programs base on the rural community, identity, and tradition. 2. Boso village museum and Tokusima experience museum harmonized with out-space and institutions, prepare various programs, exhibition, and selling of collections. 3. Through experience programs classifying into visiter's experience at first hand and expert's rehearsal according to difficulty of the job, it is sufficient about visiter's demands.

피아제 인지발달단계에 따른 어린이 박물관 선호전시체험과 어린이의 심리특성에 맞춘 관람동선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Movements of Based on the Psychological Characteristics of Children and Analysis of Preferred Experience of Children's Museum according to Piaget's cognitive development process)

  • Children likes to play and learn by playing at anywhere as a psychological trait. Children's museum is designed for limited age of 'children,' they learn more actively by playing at the museum with interactive display. In this paper, we analyze Movement of Based on the Psychological Characteristics of Children and Analysis of Preferred Experience of Children's Museum according to Piaget's cognitive development process. It is significant study to investigate user's needs space proposal by grasping user's mentality. After itinerary tracking, we found children's preferred and non-preferred experience displays and as a result, we divided children's Museums into three types, M museum is represented by preoperational period, called 'Go around play' type ; Y museum is represented by 'concrete operational period', called 'Smart road play' type ; and H museum is represented by 'formal operational period' called 'Open search play' type. The conclusions are children's cognitive development stages depending on the age discrimination that the development of play, and preferred plays are different by children cognitive development process. In order to take advantage of children playing in the children's museum by taking into account the developmental aspects will have to be designed. Efficient for viewing by age should be different on the basis. This study has shown that, when planning a children's museum, Planners should discriminate the movements of children and analysis of preferred experience of children's museum according to three museum types friendly to children's cognitive development process.

국내 박물관의 체험활동프로그램 조사연구 (A Study on the Experience Program of Domestic Museums)

  • Museums have conducted the role of conserving, collecting, and displaying cultural property generally but main museum function transforms the role of social educational place accomplishing various instruction programs .recently through social perception's changing. Educational function of museum having experience program is more effect than before that. Museums need exhibition for preservation of property in regional community and history, as well as certainly require the concept to importing experience program. Through analysing experience program patterns and varieties in domestic museum. I will propose basic dater to supply preliminary and intermediate study.

렌조 피아노(Renzo Piano)의 미술관건축 공간구성 특성연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Space organization of Renzo Piano's Museum Projects)

  • This study intends to analyze the various spatial structures and characteristics of the museum based on the two of the Renzo Piano's recent projects Menil Collection '||'&'||' Museum and Beyeler Foundation Museum Which defined the direction of the "Third Generation" in museum architecture with reference to the quality of spatial experience and design applications. Comparison and analysis were done on the basic spatial organization floor layout accessibility exhibition area lighting plan and circulation between the two museum. Through the itemized common characteristics of the museum the architect's proposal on meaning and direction of the new museum architecture can be viewed. The contemporary museums distinguish themselves quite clearly from their predecessors and this applies both to their own form and to their spatial organization. As the public demands and requests toward the museum building facility expand everyday the architect must respond by providing multiple types of space where people can experience different atmosphere in each area. One concept he used to create multi experienced area was manipulation of the natural light using by the state-of-the-art techniques of the light filtering system and multi-layering roof system to protect the valuable collections against the direct sunlight. But mainly it was to prove his strong belief in "architecture of light" by creating space with minimized meaning by purposely distinguished area in order to provide maximum support to the physical value of the collection " The connection with nature" is another concept which Piano used to provide the public a tranquil experience through out the architecture which engages in a lively dialogue with art. In spatial organization Piano concerned on functionality which not only concentrated on the visitor's point of view but also on the museum staff's comfort. Unlkie the traditional museum he alternates various size of exhibition areas for spatial hierarchy. Specially the spatial flexibility that the temporary exhibition areas are able to be expanded to the permanent exhibition areas by adjoining t재 spaces differentiate Piano's new museum from the rest. museum from the rest.

루이지아나 현대미술관에 나타난 공간경험 및 설계특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Spatial Experience and Design Characteristics in Louisiana Museum of Modern Art)

  • Louisiana Museum of Modern Art near Copenhagen is the most visited art museum in Denmark. It was originally founded by the director of the time, Knud W. Jensen and designed by two Danish architects, Vilhelm Wohlert and J${\o}$rgen Bo. The first part of the museum was built and opened to the public in 1958. The first part consisted of just a few exhibition spaces and glass corridors. But museum has been expanded step by step into a large park-like museum throughout 40 years of time. Louisiana museum has a unique environment in which art, architecture and nature are inter-related together. There was a very clear background for this museum atmosphere that was created by Knud W. Jensen from the very beginning. He wanted to make 'a sculptural park' or 'a low pavilion in the park'. The concept of 'park' was the key element. The architects, especially Vilhelm Wohlert who studied at the western area of the United States and influenced by the bay area architecture as well as the oriental wooden structure, interacted with the director's idea fully and made an invisible architecture in which 'Experience of Space' is the most important aspect. This thesis aims to analyze several crucial spaces of the museum and to find a hidden design characteristics. Chapter 2&3 explains general backgrounds and main design philosophy. Chapter 4 studies each parts' spatial experience and design methods with 3-dimensional diagrams. Chapter 5 tries to make an overall design characteristics that underlines the whole museum environment. The significance of Louisiana museum is not only in the fact that it is the most visited, but also in the fact that the role of architecture is to make a better environment where human and art are harmonized together within nature. The utopian idea of the founder started in doubt almost 50 years ago has been already successful in this small but vibrant park.

문화예술 기관의 고객경험 중심 혁신모형 연구 - 박물관 서비스를 중심으로 - (A Study on customer experience centered innovation model for culture and arts organizations - Centered on museum service -)

  • 본 연구는 기존의 수집과 보존 중심의 박물관 서비스가 관람객 중심의 서비스로 변모하기 위해 필수적인 고객경험을 중심으로 혁신전략을 수립하는 방법론에 관한 연구이다. 이를 위해서 서비스사이언스 관점에서 박물관 환경변화와 그 안에서의 고객경험의 의의와 가치, 고객경험관리 관점에서 좋은 고객경험, 나쁜 고객경험 등의 문헌 연구를 진행하였고, 박물관의 고객경험 혁신을 위한 구체적인 모형을 제시하고 증명하기 위한 연구를 진행하였다. 박물관의 고객경험 중심의 혁신 전략이란 현재 상태로 부터 목표 상태에 이를 수 있는 여러 가지 대안을 고객을 중심으로 탐색하고 그 중 가장 알맞은 전환 계획을 선택하는 것을 의미한다. 적용시의 효과로는 고객에게 긍정적인 감정을 일으켜서 차별화를 만들어내는 원천이 되며, 고객경험 데이터가 박물관의 실질적인 자원 투입에 중요한 의사결정에 높은 도움이 된다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같은 혁신모형을 제시하였고, 기존 평가방식과의 차이점을 분석하여 그 가치를 1차적으로 증명하였다. 마지막으로 고객경험 측정절차, 고객경험 진단/평가, 고객경험 혁신전략, 박물관의 성과를 변수로 하여 회귀분석을 통하여 인과관계를 분석한 결과 그 관계가 유의미하다는 것을 증명하였다.

온·오프라인 연계 체험형 어린이 박물관 콘텐츠 개발 및 만족도 조사 연구 (Development of interactive children's museum contents for online-offline experience and research on satisfaction level)

  • 본 연구는 비대면 서비스를 중심으로 온라인 박물관의 전시 콘텐츠를 온·오프라인 연계 체험 형태로 개발하여, 초등학생의 학습 효과에 긍정적인 영향이 있는지 밝히고자 한다. 본 연구에서 개발된 온·오프라인 박물관 콘텐츠는 기존 온라인 박물관을 바탕으로 분석하여 기존 전시물 유형과 직접 체험 요소가 보완된 콘텐츠를 결합하였으며, 혼합 매체 사용을 통해 학습을 증진시킨다는 Blended learning 이론을 적용하였다. 이를 통해 기존의 온라인 박물관의 한계점을 분석하고 새로운 온·오프라인 박물관이 기존 온라인 박물관에 비해 학습 효과가 있는지 비교 실험하였다. 실험 연구 결과, 공통적으로 직접 체험이 혼합된 콘텐츠가 높은 만족도 및 빈도 지수로 집계되었으며 [놀이형]과 [경험형] 유형의 직접 체험 콘텐츠가 간접 체험 유형의 콘텐츠보다 높은 만족도를 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 온라인 박물관이 제공해 줄 수 있는 콘텐츠 개발에 있어서 새로운 시사점과 발전 가능성을 제공하고 어린이 교육에 다양한 효과를 도모하고자 한다.

대학박물관 체험프로그램 기록관리 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Records Management of the University Museum Experience Program)

  • 최근 박물관 분야의 변화 속에서 살펴볼 수 있는 하나의 흐름은 박물관이 역사적 가치를 가지는 자료의 수집과 보존에서 한발 더 나아가 활용과 재창출이라는 역할로의 영역확장을 시도하고 있다는 것이다. 이는 박물관데이터 관리 및 활용을 위한 아카이브 개념의 도입과 같은 형태로 나타난다. 대학박물관 체험프로그램에서 생성된 자료는 그 규모가 더욱 커지고 활용 가치가 높아질 것으로 예상되지만, 아직까지 체험프로그램에 대한 기록물관리가 체계적으로 구축되어 운영되는 곳은 찾아볼 수 없었다. 이에 본 연구는 대학박물관 체험프로그램 기록관리 방안을 위해 국내외 대학박물관 체험프로그램의 운영 현황 조사와 체험프로그램 담당자의 설문조사를 실시한 후 이에 대한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 관련된 기록들을 체계적으로 수집하여 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 대학박물관 체험프로그램 기록관리 방안을 제안하였다.

과학관 현장학습 실태조사를 통한 과학 현장학습 활성화 방안 (Science Field Trip Activation Plan through the Survey of Science Museum Field Trip)

  • This study is aimed to offer the elementary school teacher's experience and awareness about science field trip and science museum field trip, by analyzing the survey of 867 students and 81 teachers in Seoul. Research shows 67.9% high figure of elementary school teacher's experience on science field trip. That experience is include 61.8% of science museum using experience. In case of elementary school teacher's pre-activity is only 53.1% and most of them was visiting Website. Post-activity is more than preceding activity(74.1%) but method is too simple like checking work sheets. 62.3% of elementary school students have been to science field trip and science museum that is higher than teachers'. 66.5% of students said science field trip is influence on science study in good ways but there are some difficulties like lack of pre-activity(33.0%) and unkind information about science museum(21.9%). For activation of science field trip, resources development for effective science field trip operating, program development for pre- and post-activity, school group science field trip program development which is linked science curriculum, complement and expand activity information of science field trip institution.

스티븐 홀의 뮤지엄 건축에 나타나는 공간체험의 현상적 표현 방법 및 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Phenomenal Expression Methods and the Characteristics of Spatial Experience In the Steven Holl's Museum Architecture)

  • The purpose of this study is to approach to the phenomenological point of view to explore a design method for providing a variety of spatial experience of the viewer according to the functional changes of the modern museum architecture. For that, this study intends to analysis and consider the Steven Holl's Museum applied to the phenomenological perception for architectural design. The method of this study is summarized as follows: 1) Consider the spatial role and function of the Museum Architecture in the phenomenological approach 2) Study on the phenomenological architectural concepts and expressional method of Steven Holl 3) Finally, propose the utilization for the experiential space that is required to implement the contemporary museum architecture. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Steven Holl's phenomenological architectural concept is the basis of the perception and awareness and has connotations of temporality and it is figured out by the approach to the environment, sense and motion. 2) Steven Holl implement the architecture as a place of experience by connecting between the place and the environment through the development of a variety of scenes and situations and planning the phenomenon of multisensory space. 3) The spatial experience appeared in Steven Holl's museum architecture is implemented through the diversity of the scene, the persistence of the situation, the autonomy of light and color, transparency of the haptic and the potential of the material and geometry.
