In order to improve the accuracy of cell selection in heterogeneous cellular systems, this paper proposes a fuzzy multiple-objective decision-based cell selection (FMDCS) strategy. Since heterogeneous cellular systems have different access technologies and multiple traffic classes, the strategy adopts cell type, data rate, coverage, transmission delay, and call arrival rate as evaluation indices, and uses different weight vectors according to the traffic classes of the mobile host. Then, a fuzzy multiple-objective decision algorithm is applied to select the optimal cell from all candidates. This paper also gives an instance analysis and simulation. The instance analysis shows FMDCS makes different selections for different traffic classes. Simulation results of the after-handoff quality-of-service (QoS) show the selected cell can provide MH optimal service.

The optimal AP placement for wireless LAN is important factor for improving service quality and reducing cost. Logical area property, which is user's frequently posed place, must be considerated for flexible design. This paper proposes optimal multiple AP placement method based on path loss model which is one of radio prediction tool. The proposed method can got flexibility in multiple AP placement using user's defined parameter and tile optimization design uses Hopfield network algorithm The result of simulation shows that the proposed optimization design of multiple AP placement can improve service quality for wireless LAN.

Modbus 프로토콜은 하나의 마스터 제어 유닛에 여러 대의 슬레이브 제어 유닛을 연결할 경우 가장 널리 사용되는 프로토콜이다. 그러나 Modbus 프로토콜에서는 SCU의 상태 값을 읽는 서로 다른 서비스 요청 메시지에 대해 결과 값만을 응답하기 때문에 어떤 전송 메시지에 대한 응답인지 식별할 수 없었다. 따라서 MCU 프로그램 작성 시 하나의 서비스 요청 메시지를 전송하고 이를 처리한 후에 다음 메시지를 전송하도록 프로그램을 작성하였다. 본 논문에서는 위 문제를 해결하기 위해 메시지의 전송 순서를 확인할 수 있는 Index 코드 및 응답한 메시지의 서비스 유형을 판단하기 위한 Service 코드를 추가한 Modbus 응용 프로토콜을 설계하고 이를 제안하였다. 실험 결과, MCU에서 전송한 서비스 요청 메시지에 대한 처리가 완료되지 않은 상태에서 다음 서비스 요청 메시지의 전송이 가능하였으며, 통신 에러 발생 시 에러 검색 알고리즘을 이용해 어떤 종류의 에러가 발생했는지 식별할 수 있었다. 또한, 다중의 동시적인 서비스 요청의 경우에 전송 메시지들의 처리시간이 기존의 Modbus 프로토콜보다 약 66.2% 향상되었다.

The purpose of this study is to provide a meaningful thought to professionals and administrators of Korea working for Consumer General Education development at their Universities. Also, tips for organizing and meaning Consumer General Education Curriculum effectively are provided. Finally, the study suggests essential elements to improve qualities of Consumer General Education in Korea Universities. This study's method are content analysis through web site and survey. The subjects of this survey were 257 students. The data were collected by qusetionaires developed by researcher and analyzed by frequencies, correlation Analysis, One Way Anova, Duncan Test, Factor Analysis, Multiple Regression Analysis. The major findings were as follows: University students's satisfaction level about General Education was low and the needs level about Consumer General Education was high. And the education service quality showed factors to be administrative service element, professor service element, classroom environment element, communication element. And Multiple Regression Analysis on each of the education service quality factors had been significant effects for find out the differences in the degree of satisfaction.

The purpose of this research is to test the effects of employee perceived job characteristics on service quality. Empirical analysis was based on the data of 692 hotel employees from Seoul and Gyung-gi province. To test the relationship between job characteristics and service quality, multiple regression analysis was applied, and hierarchial regression analysis(Cohen & Cohen, 1983) applied to test the moderating effects of gender and tenure. Multiple regressional analysis showed that job importance, job variety, and feedback had an affirmative impact on tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, but autonomy had a negative impact on tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance.

The purpose of this study is to find out not only customer demands and satisfaction with service quality in restaurants, but the difference between customer satisfaction and employee practice. This study also identifies the factors affecting customer satisfaction. For the purpose, 116 copies of a questionnaire for employees and 213 for customers were analyzed with frequency, percentile, mean, multiple regression analysis, T-test, one-way ANOVA, and Duncan's Multiple range test, using SPSS/WIN 10.0 program. The major findings obtained in this study are as follows: First, customer demands were affected mostly by educational level among socio-demographic variables. Second, customer demand for service quality was not fully being met, considering customer satisfaction level. Third, employee practice was generally above customer satisfaction. Fourth, One of the variables that chiefly affect customer satisfaction was demand for information and facilities.

To implement a cloud game service platform supporting multiple users and devices based on real-time streaming, there are many technical needs, including game screen and sound capturing, audio/video encoding in real time created by a high-performance server-generated game screen, and real-time streaming to client devices, such as low-cost PCs, smart devices, and set-top boxes. We therefore present a game service platform for the running and management of the game screen, as well as running the sound on the server, in which the captured and encoded game screen and sound separately provide client devices through real-time streaming. The proposed platform offers Web-based services that allow game play on smaller end devices without requiring the games to be installed locally.

본 논문은 다수의 DiffServ(Differentiated Service) 도메인을 지나가는 Assured Forwarding(AF) 서비스 클래스의 종단간 QoS(Quality of Service)툴 향상시키는 새로운 Marking Mechanism을 제안한다. 기본적인 개념은 패킷들이 최초 DiffServ 도메인으로 들어갈 때 부여받은 Marking 정보를 종단까지 유지하고, 이 정보를 근간으로 Marking을 수행하여 종단간 QoS를 보장받도록 해주는 것이다.

This paper represents improved service restoration algorithm to deal with concurrent multiple outage areas. Restoration sequence is the most important to use backup feeders effectively. In order to decide restoration sequence, the algorithm calculates restorability of each outage area based on fuzzy evaluation of outage load and total backup feeder margin.

As networks increase and cross-convergence occurs between various types of devices and communications, there is an increasing demand for interoperable service in the business environment and from end users. In this paper, we investigate interoperability issues in the digital rights management (DRM) and present a practical framework to support interoperability in environments with multiple devices. The proposed architecture enables end users to consume digital content on all their devices without awareness of the underlying DRM schemes or technologies. It also enables DRM service providers to achieve interoperability without costly modification of their DRM schemes.
