맞벌이 부모 간 아버지 양육참여의 지각차이가 부부갈등에 미치는 영향: 어머니의 자기효능감과 우울의 매개효과 (The Influence of Perception Gap of Dual-Income Parents about Paternal Involvement on Marital Conflict: Mediating Effects of Maternal Self-Efficacy and Depression)

  • The study was examined the multiple mediated effects of maternal self-efficacy and depression between perception gap about paternal involvement and marital conflict for dual-income parents. The data used were the fifth year data of the Panel Study on Korean Children from Korea Institute of Child Care and Education in 2012. The subjects consisted of 449 dual-income parents with more than one child. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, one-way analysis of variance, paired t -test, and correlation. SPSS macro and bootstrapping methods also assessed the mediation effects of maternal self-efficacy and depression between the perception gap about paternal involvement and marital conflict in dual-income parents. The results of this study were as follows. Significant positive correlations were observed for marital conflict, perception gap of dual-income parents about paternal involvement and maternal depression. Perception gaps by parents and self-efficacy were negatively correlated. Perception gaps by parents showed a direct effect on marital conflict. The results of indirect effects of all mediators showed the mediated effect of maternal self-efficacy and depression. The study revealed that the perceptive gap about paternal involvement has a significant impact on maternal self-efficacy and depression, as well as marital conflict. The perceptive gap of dual-income parents about paternal involvement has critical effects on marital conflict as much as the quantity of paternal involvement.

병원 내 1급 응급구조사의 직무스트레스와 이직의도와의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과 (The mediating effects of self-efficacy on the relationship between job stress and turnover intention of paramedics in hospitals)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate the mediating effects of self-efficacy on the relationship between job stress and turnover intention of paramedics in hospitals. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 209 paramedics in hospitals from September 4 to 24, 2015. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis using Baron & Kenny's 3 step procedure. Indirect effect was confirmed with Sobel test using SPSS/Win 22.0 program. Results: There were negative relationships between job stress, self-efficacy, and turnover intention (r=-.509, p<.001). There was a negative relationship between job stress and self efficacy (r=-.821, p<.001). The self-efficacy and turnover intention showed a positive relationship (r=.636, p<.001) with job stress and turnover intention. Concerning the mediated effect of self efficacy on job stress and turnover intention, the influence of job stress at step 2 on turnover intention was significant (B=1.207, p<.001), while job stress at step 3 had significant influence on turnover intention (B=.474, p<.001). The mediated effect of self-efficacy on job stress and turnover intention showed significant partially mediated effect of self-efficacy (z=7.100, p<.001). Conclusion: Improvement of self-efficacy and job stress was effective at decreasing turnover intention in paramedics in hospitals.

Mediation analysis of chronotype, sleep-related factors, and depressive symptoms among workers: a cross-sectional study

  • Background: This study aimed to examine the impact of chronotype on depressive symptoms and explore the mediating effects of sleep quality, pre-sleep cognitive arousal, and social jetlag in a sample of wage earners. Methods: A total of 3,917 waged workers were surveyed online in July 2022. Logistic regression and mediation analysis were used to assess the relationship between chronotype (morningness, intermediate, and eveningness) and depressive symptoms (Patient Health Questionnaire ≥ 5), and the mediating effects of Insomnia Severity Index (ISI), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), and Pre-Sleep Arousal Scale (PSAS). All analyses were adjusted for age, education level, income level, marital status, coffee consumption, alcohol consumption, physical activity, occupation, employment status, and working hours to calculate odds ratios (ORs). Results: The chronotypes of all the participants were divided into morningness (4.7%), intermediate (93.5%), and eveningness (1.8%). Multiple logistic regression analysis showed an increased risk of depression in the eveningness chronotype (OR: 2.96; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.51, 5.86). Regarding the mediation analysis, ISI mediated 28.44% (95% CI: 16.39-40.5), PSQI for 31.25% (95% CI: 19.36, 43.15), and PSAS-Cognitive Score (PSAS-C) for 23.58% (95% CI: 10.66, 36.50) of the association between chronotype and depressive symptoms. However, social jetlag did not significantly mediate this relationship. (percentage mediated = 0.75%, 95% CI: -3.88, 5.39) Conclusions: Evening chronotypes exhibit an increased risk of depressive symptoms, which ISI, PSQI, and PSAS-C partially mediated. This suggests that interventions to improve sleep quality and maintain adequate sleep habits may effectively prevent and treat depression in employees with an eveningness chronotype.

  • The purpose of this study was to understand the effects of hotel employees' physical attractiveness on person-job fit and to empirically analyze whether self-esteem and self-efficacy play a mediating role in the causality between an employee's physical attractiveness and person-job fit. Self-administered questionnaires were completed by 345 employees and the data were analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The primary results were as follows: Multiple regression analysis showed that hotel employee physical attractiveness had a positive significant influence on self-esteem ($\beta=.504$, p<.001) and self-efficacy ($\beta=.441$, p<.001). Also, employee selfesteem ($\beta=.281$, p<.001) and self-efficacy ($\beta=.478$, p<.001) each had a positive significant influence on person-job fit. As a result of analyzing the mediating role, the effect of hotel employees' physical attractiveness on person-job fit was partially mediated by self-esteem and self-efficacy.

Vaccination with an Ovalbumin/Interleukin-4 Fusion DNA Efficiently Induces Th2 Cell-Mediated Immune Responses in an Ovalbumin-Specific Manner

  • to more effectively drive immune responses toward antigen-specific T helper type 2 (Th2) cell-mediated responses, we constructed a mammalian expression vetor (oPVA/IL4) carrying a fused gene in which the ovalbumin (OVA) cDNA was covalently linked to murine interleukin-4 (IL-4) cDNA. A biologically active OVA/IL4 DNA, as demonstrated by Wes tern blotting and cytokine bioassay. In tramuscular injection of BALB/c mice with the pOVA/IL4 DNA increased both the production of OVA-specific IL-4 by CD$4^{+}$ T cells and the ratio of anti-OVA lgG1 to anti-OVA lgG2a isotypes, while the injection with the pOVA DNA alone, or with the mixture of the pOVA and pIL4 DNA did no or little increase. furthermore, the OVA-specific, Th2 cell-mediated immune responses were significantly enhanced by multiple injections with the pOVA/IL4 DNA. These studies indicate that the direct linkage of an OVA gene to an IL-4 gene in the expression plasmid confines the effects of IL-4 to the OVA-specific cells, efficiently driving the immune response toward OVA-specific, Th2 cell-mediated responses.

대학생의 소명과 진로적응성의 관계: 의미추구와 의미발견의 매개효과 (The Effect of Calling on Career Adaptability among Undergraduate Students: The Mediating Effects of Search for and Presence of Meaning)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 소명이 진로적응성에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 소명과 진로적응성의 관계를 의미 추구와 의미 발견의 과정이 매개하는지 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울 소재 4년제 대학교 재학생 245명(남학생 117명, 여학생 128명)을 대상으로 소명 척도, 의미 추구 척도, 의미 발견 척도, 진로적응성 척도를 사용하여 자료를 수집하고, SPSS 25.0과 SPSS Macro를 활용하여 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 매개모형은 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 검증하였으며, 부트스트래핑 방식을 활용하여 매개효과의 통계적 유의성을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로적응성은 소명, 의미추구, 의미발견 모두와 유의미한 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 소명은 진로적응성에 직접적으로 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 소명과 진로적응성의 관계를 의미추구와 의미발견이 순차적으로 부분매개하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 실제 상담 장면에서의 적용과 한계점, 그리고 후속연구에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.

인공지능에 대한 지식, 감정, 수용의도 관계에서 위험인식의 매개 및 조절효과 분석 (The Analysis of the Mediating and Moderating Effects of Perceived Risks on the Relationship between Knowledge, Feelings and Acceptance Intention towards AI)

  • 본 연구는 인공지능에 대한 지식과 감정적 요인 그리고 수용의도 간의 관계에서 위험인식이 어떤 영향을 미치는지 그 과정을 살펴보고자 매개 및 조절효과를 실증 분석하였고, 인공지능의 수용성을 높일 수 있는 시사점을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 10대부터 40대까지 설문조사를 실시하여 1,969명의 유효 표본을 확보하였고, 분석방법으로는 매개회귀분석과 조절회귀분석을 활용하였다. 분석결과에 따르면, 첫째, 인공지능에 대한 지식과 감정은 인공지능 수용의도에 유의한 영향을 보였다. 둘째, 인공지능에 대한 감정과 수용의도의 관계에서 위험 인식은 부분매개효과 및 조절효과를 확인하였다. 셋째, 인공지능에 대한 지식과 수용의도의 관계에서 위험인식은 조절효과만 유의하게 나타났다. 종합적으로, 인공지능에 대한 감정이 부정적으로 형성될수록 개인이 느끼는 위험인식이 높아지게 되고, 높아진 위험인식은 인공지능의 수용의도를 낮출 수 있는 과정을 반영하고 있었다. 또한 인공지능에 대한 감정변수의 영향력이 지식변수보다 더욱 강한 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였고, 인공지능에 대한 위험인식이 낮은 집단일수록 인공지능에 대한 지식과 감정에 대한 영향력이 더욱 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 연구의 시사점과 향후 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였고, 인공지능의 성공적인 사회적 안착을 위해 보다 다양하고 확장적인 연구들을 기대한다.

사회적 지지, 스트레스 대처방식이 보육교사의 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향: 직장보육시설을 중심으로 (Effects of Social Support and Stress Coping Strategies on Teachers' Job Stress in Corporate-Sponsored Child Care Centers)

  • This study explored effects of social support and stress coping strategies on teachers' job stress in corporate-sponsored child care centers. Participants were 191 child care teachers from 19 corporate-sponsored child care centers. Data was analyzed using Pearson's productive correlation and hierarchical multiple regression tests. Important findings were as follows: First, the overload of task was the dominant factor in causing job stress. Secondly, social support correlated negatively with child care teachers' job stress. Thirdly, child care teachers' problem-focused coping strategy was also found to be related to their job stress. Finally, the effect of social support on child care teachers' job stress was partially mediated by their problem-focused coping strategy.

부모-자녀 간의 의사소통, 자아정체감, 청소년의 학교적응 간의 관계구조 (Structural Relationships Among Parent-Adolescent Communication, Ego-Identity, and School Adjustment)

  • The purpose of this study was twofold: One was to investigate the structural relationships among communication with father and mother, ego-identity, and school adjustment. The other was to test the structural equivalence among researched variables between middle and high school samples. The subjects were 419 sophomores of middle and high schools. The major findings were as follows. 1) Communication with the father had direct and indirect effects on adolescents' school adjustment, while communication with the mother had only an indirect effect on school adjustment. 2) Ego-identity had a direct effect on school adjustment, and mediated the effects of communication with father and mother in school adjustment. 3) Multiple-group analysis revealed that middle and high school groups had the same structural relationships, but had different regression weights.

유아의 정서지식이 자전적 기억에 미치는 영향 : 부정적 정서성의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Young Children's Emotion Knowledge on Their Autobiographical Memory : With a Focus on the Mediation of Negative Emotionality)

  • This study investigated the relationships among emotion knowledge, negative emotionality, and autobiographical memory in a sample of 131 three- to five-year-old children attending day care center in seoul. The collected data were analyzed using simple regression and hierarchical multiple regression. The main results of this study were as follows. First, children's emotion knowledge exerted negative effects on their negative emotionality. Second, children's negative emotionality had a positive influence on their autobiographical memory. Finally, the effect of children's emotion knowledge on their autobiographical memory was partially mediated by their negative emotionality. These findings provide a preliminary evidence that children's emotion knowledge and negative emotionality may predict their autobiographical memory.
