Code Acquisition of W-CDMA Signals by Double-Dwell Serial Search (이중적분 직렬검색을 이용한 W-CDMA 신호의 코드획득에 관한연구)

  • In this paper, we consider a code acquisition of W-CDMA signals over multipath Rayleigh fading channel when double-dwell serial search code acquisition is used for initial synchronization. We derive the detection and false alarm probability, and mean acquisition time mathematically by taking into account of multiple H$\_$l/ cells and double-dwell serial search. It is noteworthy that the more the number of the post-detection integration, the shorter the mean acquisition time in low SNR.

  • In case of the problems with multiple plants, alternative operation sequence, alternative machine, setup time, and transportation time between plants, we need a robust methodology for the integration of process planning and scheduling in supply chain. The objective of this model is to minimize the tardiness and to maximize the resource utilization. So, we propose a multi-objective model with limited-capacity constraint. To solve this model, we develope an efficient and flexible model using adaptive genetic algorithm(AGA), compared to traditional genetic algorithm(TGA)

  • In this paper we reconsider the problem of steady mixed convection boundary-layer flow over a vertical flat plate studied in [6],[7] and [13]. Under favorable assumptions, we prove existence of multiple similarity solutions, we study also their asymptotic behavior. Numerical solutions are carried out using a shooting integration scheme.

  • New product development is a complex managerial process which involves multiple functional groups, each with a different perspective. Quality function deployment (QFD) is a new product development process which stresses cross-functional integration. QFD provides a specific approach for ensuring quality through each stage of the product development and production process. This paper provides an overview of QFD including its concepts and methods, and then proposes an integrated approach to formulating and solving the QFD process. This paper also discusses issues associated with the prescriptive modeling of QFD.

  • This paper addresses the necessity of integration between buyer and suppliers for effective implementation of Just-In-Time purchasing in a multi-item environment. An integrated inventory model of facilitating multiple shipments in small lots is developed. Also, an iterative solution procedure is developed to simultaneously find the order(contract) interval for each item and number of shipments between buyer and suppliers. We show by example that when the integrated policy is adopted by both buyer and suppliers in a cooperative manner, both parties can benefit.

  • 현재의 3차원 시각 정보 제시기는 Scene Graph 기반의 3차원 그래픽스 API에 기반을 두고 있다. 본 연구에서는 시각 정보 제시에 더불어 다양한 감각을 제시하기 위한 통합 제시 능력을 가지는 시스템으로 시각화 시스템을 확장하였다. 이 확장된 시스템은 다양한 감각 정보를 제시하기 위한 추가적인 정보를 가지는 확장된 Scene Graph을 가지고 운영되며, 통합된 Script System으로 각 감각 제시 시스템들간의 동기화 및 통합 관리와 제시 시스템의 확장에 유리한 장점을 가진다.

  • Microfluidic lab-on-a-chip (LOC) systems have enabled a new generation ofassay technologies in chemical and biomedical sciences. Caliper's microfluidic LOC systems contain a network of microscopic channels through which fluids and chemical are moved in order to perform experiments. The main advantages of these continuous-flow devices are integration and automation of multiple steps in complex analytical procedures to improve the reproducibility of the results, and eliminated the manual labor, time and pipetting errors involved in analyses. The present talk is devoted to give a brief introduction of microfluidic basics and to present in applying continuous-flow microchips to drug screening with model enzyme assays.

  • This research aims to develop the multiple channel electrochemical DNA chip that has the above characteristic and be able to solve the problems. At first, we fabricated a high integration type DNA chip array by lithography technology. It is able to detect a plural genes electrochemically after immobilization of a plural probe DNA and hybridization of non-labeling target DNA on the electrodes simultaneously.
