This paper reviews some methods on evaluating the impacts of low input farming on profitability, environments and human health. Measuring diverse effects of low input farming on the environmental economic aspects of agriculture poses a challenge because of difficulty in placing the objective value judgement on those impacts. This Study attempts to identify the individual attributes of low input agriculture and to examine the method of consturcting a simple index after assessing its marketed or non-marketed values in numerical terms. Validity of integrating socio-economic value of low input agriculture, which might be measured by multiple criteria approach, into a single index can be criticized. However, it might be meaningful in that this study suggest the guidance for how to assess the environmental and economic value of low input agriculture by single criteria and the possibility of overcoming the controversial subjectivity in weighing the different impact criteria.

The purpose of this study was to explore the impacts of adolescents' body images, attachment to parents, attachment to peers, and resilience on life satisfaction. The participants were 1449 adolescents selected from six junior-high schools. T-tests and stepwise multiple regression were conducted for data analysis. Major findings of this study were as follows: 1) There were gender differences in body images, peer attachment, and life satisfaction. 2) Adolescents' body images and degree of resilience were significant predictors of life satisfaction. 3) Attachment to parents was a significant predictor of life satisfaction, but peer attachment was not significant.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of organizational justice and dispositional affectivity on job satisfaction and intent to leave among nurses. Methods: The sample of this study consisted of 274 nurses from 2 general hospitals located in Incheon. Data were collected with self-administered questionnaires and were analyzed by hierarchical multiple regression. Results: Distributive and interactional justices had positive impacts on nurses' job satisfaction. Distributive, procedural and interactional justices had negative impacts on nurses' intent to leave. It was found out that positive affectivity significantly moderated the effect of interactional justice on job satisfaction while dispositional affectivity did not significantly moderate the effect of organizational justice on the intent to leave. Conclusion: The results imply that hospital administrators should pay attention to the dispositional affectivity of nurses to increase their job satisfaction. Further, hospital needs to maintain organizational justice to reduce nurses' turnover.

This study deals with dynamic model of composite sandwich panels with functionally graded flexible cores under low velocity impacts of multiple large or small masses using a new improved higher order sandwich panel theory (IHSAPT). In-plane stresses were considered for the functionally graded core and face sheets. The formulation was based on the first order shear deformation theory for the composite face sheets and polynomial description of the displacement fields in the core that was based on the second Frostig's model. Fully dynamic effects of the functionally graded core and face-sheets were considered in this study. Impacts were assumed to occur simultaneously and normally over the top and/or bottom of the face-sheets with arbitrary different masses and initial velocities. The contact forces between the panel and impactors were treated as internal forces of the system. Nonlinear contact stiffness was linearized with a newly presented improved analytical method in this paper. The results were validated by comparing the analytical, numerical and experimental results published in the latest literature.

Purpose: This descriptive study investigated the impacts of ego-resilience and academic stress on depression among nursing students. Methods: We recruited a total of 191 nursing students at C University located in C city through convenience sampling. Online data collection was conducted from August 22 to September 4, 2021. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. Results: The results showed academic stress (β=.45, p<.001) and ego-resilience (β=-.14, p=.029) significantly affected on depression and explained 32.7% of depression of nursing student. Conclusion: To control nursing students' depression, it may need to develop programs enhancing ego-resilience and controlling academic stress and test the effect.

This study analyzed the impacts of programming characteristics perceived by the consumers of entertainment programs on general programming channels on watching intention and the data of a survey with 360 adult viewers in the capital area. Research questions were verified as follows: First, as a result of multiple regression to analyze the impacts of the factors of programming characteristics perceived by the consumers on their watching intention, setting personal characteristics as a control variable, programming characteristics as an independent variable and watching intention as a dependent variable, the regression model was significant. Thus, the more positive the perceived factors of programming characteristics, the more significant their watching intention improved. Second, the factors of programming characteristics significantly affecting watching intention had greater positive(+) impacts in the following order: Adjacency > substantiality > weight of genre > social evidence > relative advantage > ease of access.

본 논문에서는 instruction과 data cache로 나누어지는 L1 cache를 가진 시스템에서 instruction과 data cache 각각의 block 크기 변화가 전체 시스템의 성능에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다. 이를 위하여 SPEC CPU 벤치마크 프로그램을 입력으로 하는 SimpleScalar를 이용한 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 본 연구를 통해서, instruction과 data 각각의 특성에 맞는 cache block 크기를 사용하는 것이 일률적인 cache block 크기를 사용하는 것에 비하여 전체 시스템의 성능을 더욱 향상시켜 준다는 것을 보여준다.

The Taihu Basin is located in the east coast of China, where the threats of frequent floods have induced construction of massive, complex, hierarchical flood defense systems over the interconnected river networks. Digital modeling of flooding processes and quantitative damage assessment still remain challenging due to such complexity. The current research uses an integrated approach to meet this challenge by combining multiple types of models within a GIS platform. A new algorithm is introduced to simulate the impacts of the flood defense systems, especially the large number of polders, on floods distributions and damages.

For any particular development project or environmental regulations, decision-making criteria is required and conflicts among criteria should be resolved. It is necessary to investigate criteria that government agencies employ in making decisions that influence the environment. The evaluation of alternative development proposals and regulatory measures involves much more than environmental issues. Economic, technical, and social factors should be considered along with environmental impacts when making evaluations. Evaluation should be based on values of all individuals who may be affected by public or private decisions. There are many evaluation methods for determining how individuals and groups value alternative public actions. Numerous weighting-scaling methodologies can be used in such evaluations. These methodologies represent adaptations of multiple-criteria or multiple-attribute decision-making techniques. Environmental risk assessment which accounts for uncertainties in choosing among alternative policies and projects is increasingly used.

The purposes of this study were to investigate the impacts of empowerment, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment on service quality. So, this research attempted to test the hypothesized relationships between service quality and its determinants such as job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and customer orientation. To measure these hypotheses, total 200 questionnaires were handed out and 185 were collected. Finally 163 questionnaires were used for the analysis, while 22 were found to be invalid. The frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression were conducted after coding and cleaning by SPSS 18.0 The result of this study are as follow. As a result of multiple regression, it shows that empowerment have an effect on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and service quality. And it shows that job satisfaction and organizational commitment have an effect on service quality.
