Although a call for the implementation of PBL in nursing education is getting increased, it has not been actively implemented as it could be. The main reason for this situation seems to be the lack of well designed learning packages. Well designed PBL packages can be the core factor for the successful implementation of PBL. However, this seems to be the hardest task for teachers wanting to implement PBL. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop a systematic framework of PBL package development process and provide the examples of its application. This framework of the process of PBL package development includes thirteen steps. First of all, the team needs to decide a topic to be explored in the package and then clusters concepts related to the topic. Second, the team selects a real situation and writes it as a story. Third, knowledge, skills, and attitudes that practitioners need to know to deal with the situation will be explored. Fourth, learning objectives will be written. The next, the team will check if the situation includes multidisciplinary concepts and content. Sixth, the story will be divided into several parts. Seventh, part 1 will be written. Eighth, clinical documents related to part 1 need to be prepared. Ninth, the team will write a suggested approach for students. Then, they need to prepare a tutor's guide for part 1. Eleventh, the team will prepare a list of reading materials and plan for lectures and clinical laboratory sessions. Twelfth, they will write part 2 ~ part N following the steps from the seventh to the eleventh. The last step is evaluating the package and amending it as needed. These thirteen steps are very detailed and easy to follow for beginners. It is expected that this framework will contribute to accelerate the implementation of PBL in nursing education.

Purpose: The headache is a symptom that various somatic or non-somatic disorders gives an effect to head and neck system. The neck and the shoulder pain is a common muscle pain that can not control and bothers the patient after chronic state. The headache and the neck and the shoulder muscle pain are treated with various conventional treatment methods. But, there are cases that symptoms did not resolve or increased in some clinical cases. And generally, the result of temporomandibular disorders (TMD) treatment is good. But, despite of a normal treatment was performed for TMD, there are cases that TMD symptoms did not resolved in clinical cases. In template clinic of Soonchunhyang University Bucheon Hospital, co-operative neurophysiologic treatment of Department of Neurosurgery and Dentistry are done for patients, who had head and neck pain or atypical symptoms that did not treated with various conventional treatment method such as surgery or medication etc. Materials and Methods: Four hundred fifty one patients who have treated in the template clinic, Soonchunhyang University Bucheon Hospital, from January of 2006 to December of 2008 were subjected in this study. Result: Overall average age was 31.9 years old. Ratio of numbers is 74.3% in female and 25.7% in male. The success rate of treatment in TMD symptom was 89.9%, in headache was 88.8%, in muscle pain was 81.6%. Statistically significance of differences visual analogue scale evaluation between before and after had been treated patients who have over average grade headache was calculated by paired t-test. P<0.05 was considered significant. Background : The aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the critical pathway to diabetic patients who were admitted in the hospital. Methods : For establishment of critical pathway for diabetic patients, we organized the multidisciplinary care team. During 5 months, 31 diabetic inpatients were applied the critical pathway and the results were compared with 11 diabetic inpatients who were treated with conventional way. We assessed the patients satisfaction, knowledge on the disease, compliance of medical regimen, length of stay(LOS) and hospital cost. We used the computer program SAS for statistical analysis. Data were summarized with mean, and analyzed using t-test repeated measures ANOVA and Wilcoxon rank sum test. Results : Length of stay(LOS) was remarkably shortened in critical pathway group compared with the conventional treatment group($7.6{\pm}1.23$ vs $12.0{\pm}4.73$, p<0.000). Although LOS was significantly shortened in critical pathway group, patients satisfaction was much higher than conventional treatment group. There were no significant difference of knowledge on the disease, compliance of medical regimen and blood glucose level between two groups at discharge. Hospital cost of each patients also significantly decreased in critical pathway group(890,000 won vs 1,280,000 won, p<0.05). Conclusion : These results showed that establishment of critical pathway for diabetic inpatients with team approach is the one of the way to improve the quality of diabetic patients management and to enhance the efficiency of hospital management.
To satisfy consumers' desire to enjoy their own individuality and cultural trends, the discovery of various materials and the expression of materials embodying their characteristics are increasingly important in the fashion jewelry industry. This study examines, paper mulberry fiber, a raw material of hanji that has been excavated as a new material for fashion jewelry, is durable as wall as, soft and easy to form, has a unique texture along with, excellent aesthetic quality, and expresses various colors, thereby differentiating itself from traditional fashion jewelry materials. The material itself also has symbolic significance as an approach to discovering new sustainable materials for fashion jewelry to ensure increased specificity of the product based on the premise of freedom of expression. The weight and optimal drying time of chicken fiber were derived for the study of fashion jewelry expression using the characteristics of paper mulberry fiber. The techniques of casting, deflection, packing and winding (winding beads with fibers and straps) were derived and four brooches were produced in total. This study is meaningful for the future of, the fashion jewelry industry as it presents the uses of new materials such as paper mulberry fiber to induce multidisciplinary consumption and to suggest a direction for the creation of new value-added products. Further, in order to expand the realm of fashion jewelry industry with our own competitive products that have secured our cultural identity and uniqueness in the global market, there must be continued follow-up research on mass production methods for industrialization.
Because of the unique images of monsters and people curious about the unknown things in the game, gamers escape from ordinary life to explore a whole new world of games in the virtual space. Gamers monster while dealing with characters that are not in the real world, I feel the joy and freshness, much to the popularity of these unique characters are gamers. Is the study of the game Monster character to now is still food that fell short, there is currently many games with the simple design by limiting the monster character design for simple figurative design in the characters monster representation of the figurative simple character designs is fulfilling the week The feed. To analyze the convergence of the monster character design in various ways and to apply the formative apply thoughtful design of the monster characters. This study combines research with a multidisciplinary approach based on the traditional image of the monster character image.
The dairy industry, as part of the broader agricultural sector, is classified as a basic industry to the Korea economy. Basic industries provide income to a region by producing an output, purchasing production inputs, services and labor. An integrated, multidisciplinary approach for the next generation of dairy products with added health benefits represent the direct economic contribution. The commercialization of "nutritional" functional foods can only be successful if the consumer is confident in the scientific validity of the claims. Modern biotechnologies such as genomics, genetic expression and biomarkers of health performance suggested to whole dairy products, such as fluid milk, butter, cheese, ice cream and frozen dessert products (German, 1999). The following definition makes the point that dairy products can provide a nutritional value beyond the basic nutritional requirements: 1) The dairy industry has the opportunity to improve the health and well-being of its customers and/or to reduce their risk of disease through dairy products with added activities. 2) Functional dairy products are those that can be demonstrated to benefit target functions in the body in a way that improves the state of health and /or reduces the risk of disease. They are food products that are consumed as part of a normal diet rather than pills or supplements. 3) Dairy products based on functionality will need to link the scientific basis of such functionality to the communication of its benefit to the general public. 4) Both the efficacy and the safety of the food components with health benefits will require evidence based on the measurement of scientific biomarkers relevant to their biological responses and health end points. 5) Sound evidence from human studies based on intermediate health end points using accepted biomarkers will provide the basis for promotional messages divided into two categories-enhanced function and reduced risk of disease. 6) Success in solving key scientific and technological challenges will only be achieved by interdisciplinary research programs to exploit the scientific concepts in functional dairy science.
Objective: To investigate the distribution, side involvement, phenotype, and associated anomalies of Korean patients with craniofacial clefts (CFC). Methods: The samples consisted of 38 CFC patients, who were treated at Seoul National University Dental Hospital during 1998-2018. The Tessier cleft type, sex, side involvement, phenotype, and associated anomalies were investigated using non-parametric statistical analysis. Results: The three most common types were #7 cleft, followed by #0 cleft and #14 cleft. There was no difference between the frequency of male and female. Patients with #0 cleft exhibited nasal deformity, bony defect, and missing teeth in the premaxilla, midline cleft lip, and eye problems. A patient with #3 cleft (unilateral type) exhibited bilateral cleft lip and alveolus. All patients with #4 cleft were the bilateral type, including a combination of #3 and #4 clefts, and had multiple missing teeth. A patient with #5 cleft (unilateral type) had a posterior openbite. In patients with #7 cleft, the unilateral type was more prevalent than the bilateral type (87.0% vs. 13.0%, p < 0.001). Sixteen patients showed hemifacial microsomia (HFM), Goldenhar syndrome, and unilateral cleft lip and palate (UCLP). There was a significant match in the side involvement of #7 cleft and HFM (87.5%, p < 0.01). Patients with #14 cleft had plagiocephaly, UCLP, or hyperterorbitism. A patient with #30 cleft exhibited tongue tie and missing tooth. Conclusions: Due to the diverse associated craniofacial anomalies in patients with CFC, a multidisciplinary approach involving a well-experienced cooperative team is mandatory for these patients.
This study is based on theoretical background about movements of visual communication highlighted in digital age. Such movements are variously expressed in animation with the advancement of media, and their expression has great effect on visual art. Artists' concern and endeavor about movement expression techniques have been continued by impressionism, expressionism, futurism, cubism closely related with the birth of movie from late 19th century to early 20th century. At that time, stationary 2D space in plane screen couldn't express movement or time directly. Later, artists and designers have attempted to approach illusions in pictures or 4 dimension and movements by 2D or 3D computer graphics. The visual image in present digital age is to see, to hear, to feel by timing, so it is necessary for the most efficient way of message communication. And then, it is the time to start new, scientific, and creative study about production techniques of animation and expression of movements, since domestic animation productions are rapidly changed from cell to digital. The aim of this study is to clarify the motive of movement by theoretical inquiry of animation. Various aspects of animation as synthetic art have been examined by mathematical, scientific, and philosophical viewpoint. The results will be useful to the expression of motions for maximization of emotional effect in animation production or basic data of virtual simulation about certain situation. Therefore, such study should be managed as multidisciplinary research in the rapidly changing visual culture paradigm. namely, animation includes much more imaginative & creative power than simple function or techniques, so it has to be recognized as special synthetic art(visual art) constructing an area, the formative art with philosophical viewpoint and scientific principles.
