A Scheme of Concurrent Two-Way Synchronizations for Spatio-Temporal Data on a Mobile Environments (모바일 환경에서 시공간 데이터의 동시 양방향 동기화 기법)

  • As the mobile devices and the wireless networks have high-performance capabilities, it is possible to synchronize the spatio-temporal data of a server with the spatio-temporal data of a mobile device which are collected at a field. However, since the server process the synchronization which the model device requests the whole synchronizations of mass mobile devices take long time. In this paper, we propose the scheme to Process concurrently the synchronizations of mobile devices which does not conflict with others using the scheme of a multi-queue.

  • This paper presents a teleoperation system that combines computer network and an autonomous mobile robot. We control remotely an autonomous mobile robot with vision over the Internet to guide it under unknown environments in the real time. The main feature of this system is that local operators need a web browser and a computer connected to the communication network and so they can command the robot in a remote location through the home page. The hardware architecture of this system consists of an autonomous mobile robot, workstation, and local computers. The software architecture of this system includes the client part for the user interface and robot control as well as the server part for communication between users and robot. The server and client systems are developed using Java language which is suitable to internet application and supports multi-platform. Furthermore. this system offers an image compression method using JPEG concept which reduces large time delay that occurs in network during image transmission.

  • Real-time access is required to handle continuous and unstructured data and should be flexible in management under dynamic state. Platform can be built to allow data collection, storage, and processing from local-server or multi-server. Although the former centralize method is easy to control, it creates an overload problem because it proceeds all the processing in one unit, and the latter distributed method performs parallel processing, so it is fast to respond and can easily scale system capacity, but the design is complex. This paper provides data collection and processing on one platform to derive significant insights from various data held by an enterprise or agency in the latter manner, which is intuitively available on dashboards and utilizes Spark to improve distributed processing performance. All service utilize dockers to distribute and management. The data used in this study was 100% collected from Kafka, showing that when the file size is 4.4 gigabytes, the data processing speed in spark cluster mode is 2 minute 15 seconds, about 3 minutes 19 seconds faster than the local mode.

  • Recently, there are lots of concerning on the control of multi-agent control system and mixed reality integrating real and virtual environments. In this paper, an integrated agent control system based on mixed reality and mobile environment is proposed. The system consists of a manager, agents, a mapping module, a geographic information module, a WAP server, and a mobile manager. The manager has Hybrid Device Manager(HDM) working for revising images and position data of the agents to display that at the 3D virtual and mobile environments respectively. Especially, the images of the agent is translated to LBM format and displayed on the mobile phone, and the current position of the agent is displayed on the display screen, so that a user are able to control the agent when he is moving. Experimental results shows the proposed system lets us control the agents conveniently at a computer and a mobile phone.

There are some company to service high quality network game for gathering members. Those company make success for getting fee from their member. Global on-line game market is small but stability growing. Thus Microsoft invest on line game. On this paper, one of a java network turn game system called by "Hoola" is designed and implemented. This Application consist of Client/Server and Database module and multi-tier Architecture, because of easily translation to PDA or mobile phone.

  • 양방향 동기화 기법은 모바일 단말기를 활용하는 GIS 시스템에서 사용자들에게 최신의 시공간 데이터를 신속하게 전파하기 위한 변경전파 기법이다. 그러나 여러 클라이언트들로부터 시공간 데이터가 변경될 수 있기 때문에 시공간 데이터의 일관성 유지에 문제가 있다. 이 논문에서는 모바일 클라이언트에서 변경한 시공간 데이터의 변경충돌검사를 위한 타임스탬프를 정의하고, 동시에 동기화를 요청한 클라이언트들의 트랜잭션을 처리하기 위해 다중 큐를 이용한 동시성 제어 기법을 제안한다.

An Efficient Server Selection Over The Multi-site Internet Environments (멀티 사이트 인터넷 환경에서 효율적인 서버 선택)

  • 인터넷 서비스 품질의 향상을 위해 고성능 서버의 증설 및 트래픽 분산 등 서비스 대역의 확장으로 인터넷 접속 장치인 서버 및 가입자망의 접속 속도는 급속히 향상되었으나, 인터넷의 접속 품질과 속도에 대한 만족도는 기대에 못 미치고 있다. 이러한 문제는 인터넷 접속장치의 증설로는 증가하는 트래픽을 수용하는 데에는 한계가 있고, 사용자측 노드에서 CP(Content Provider) 서버를 이르는 미들마일(Middel-mile) 구간이 개선되지 못하는데 원인이 있다. 본 논문에서는 지역적으로 분산된 멀티 사이트 인터넷 환경에서 각 클라이언트의 위치에 따라 클러스터링된 서버들의 로드 밸런싱을 유지하면서 서버와 사용자 측 노드를 최소화하여 사용자에게 효율적인 서버를 선택하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법에는 효율적인 서버를 선택하기 위해 네트워크 상태 감시자(NSP)와 컨텐츠 서버 관리자를 두어 각 서버의 상태와 각 분산된 네트워크의 상태를 파악할 수 있도록 하였으며, 서버 선택 알고리즘과 알고리즘을 실현하기 위한 서비스 구조를 제시하였다. 또한, 효율적인 서비스 서버를 선택하기 위한 인자들과 측정방법을 나타내었으며, 제안된 서비스 구조에서 실험을 통하여 타당성을 확인하였다.

  • 지금까지 구축 된 공간 데이터들을 각 서버끼리 공유하여 유사한 내용의 공간정보구축을 위만 중복투자를 막고 공간데이터의 활용도를 높이는 방안이 시급하다. 멀티서버 환경에서의 공간데이터의 공유는 데이터의 보안과 사용자 편의성을 고려하여 뷰로 제공되고 관리되어질 수 있다. 분산 된 대용량의 공간데이터에 대해 복잡한 공간연산 처리를 감안한다면 멀티서버 환경에서는 공간 뷰의 실체화가 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 멀티서버 환경에서의 공간데이터의 유통을 지원하고 공유 된 공간데이터에 대한 사용자 편의성과 네트웍 부하를 고려한 공간 뷰 실체화 기법을 제안한다. 확장 된 공간데이터 디렉토리 서비스(Extended Spatial Data Diretory Service)를 이용하여 각 서버가 공유하는 공간테이블에 대란 정보를 검색하고, 검색 된 징보를 바탕으로 로컬서버는 각 서버에에 직접 접속하여 필요한 영역의 데이터를 얻어 뷰를 생성한다. 이때 공유 공간데이터가 대용량 데이터임을 고려하여 로컬서버는 공간 뷰 성의에 대한 술어를 분리하여 뷰 질의 처리를 각각의 원격서버로 분산시켜 네트웍 부하와 서버의 질의처리 비용을 줄이고 공간 뷰 서버에 실제화 시킴으로써 뷰에 대한 질의처리시 각 서버로의 접근을 데비터의 접근을 줄여 사용자 응-답시간을 최소화한다.

  • Many various researches about the PC execution process monitoring system have studied. Nevertheless, it is hard to find research of a system that multi-PC based each PC can be monitoring and reporting by file type. In this study, it designed and implemented that each PC can be monitoring and reporting by files to a server in multi-PCs' environments. Moreover it can gather and organize informations of reporting. It is expected users can recognize that execution processes are reporting. It causes to reduce execution unnecessary process.

  • There are many file systems in various operating systems. Those are usually designed for server environments, where the common cases are usually 'multiple active users', 'great many small files' And they assume a big main memory to be used as buffer cache. So the existing file systems are not suitable for resource hungry embedded systems that process multimedia data streams. In this study, we designed and implemented a new file system which efficiently stores and retrieves multimedia data steams. The proposed file system has a very simple disk layout, which guarantees a quick disk initialization and file system recovery. And we introduced a new indexing-scheme, called the time-based indexing scheme, with the file system. With the indexing scheme, the file system maintains the relation between time and the location for all the multimedia streams. The scheme is useful in searching and playing the compressed multimedia streams by locating exact frame position with given time, resulting in reduction of CPU processing and power consumption. The proposed file system and its APIs utilizing the time-based indexing schemes were implemented firstly on a Linux environment, though it is operating system independent. In the performance evaluation on a real DVR system, which measured the execution time of multi-threaded reading and writing, we found the proposed file system is maximum 38.7% faster than EXT2 file system.
