유전 알고리듬을 이용한 압전센서의 전극형상 최적화 (Electrode Shape Optimization of Piezo Sensors Using Genetic Algorithm)

  • This paper presents an electrode shape design method for the multi-mode sensors that could deteict the selected structural multiple modes. The structure used for this study is an isotropic cantilever beam type with a PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) which is bonded onto the structure as a sensor. The shape optimization problem is solved by using Genetic Algorithm (GA) with an appropriate objective function. The performance of analytical optimal shape sensor is compared with that of experimental work. The results show that the, obtained electrode shape sensors have good performance to detect the multiple vibration modes simultaneously.

  • This paper proposes a way to measure the displacement of a multi-point by using a pattern recognition from video signal. Generally in measuring displacement, gab sensor, which is a displacement sensor, is used. However, it is difficult to measure displacement by using a common sensor in places where it is unsuitable to attach a sensor, such as high-temperature areas or radioactive places. In this kind of places, non-contact methods should be used to measure displacement and in this study, images of CCD camera were used. When multi-point is measure by using a pattern recognition, it is possible to measure displacement with a non-contact method. It is simple to install and multi-point displacement measuring device so that it is advantageous to solve problems of spatial constraints.

  • 본 연구에서는 단일모드 광섬유에서의 온도에 의한 위상변조 현상을 분석하고 단일모드 광섬유 간섭계를 이용한 온도센서를 설계. 제작하여 그 온도특성을 조사하였다. 설계한 fiber-optic온도센서는 Mach-Zehnder 간섭계를 이용한 위상감지형 고감도 센서로서 온도변화는 간섭무의의 이동으로써 측정되어졌다. 간섭계에 의한 측정에서 중요한 문제중의 하나는 온도분만 아니라 모든 피측정 물리량의 변화방향에 따른 간섭무의의 이동갯수와 이동방향을 동시에 측정하는 것이다. 이를 위해 다중모드 광섬유를 이용한 배열 검출기를 제작하여 매우 간편하게 간섭무늬의 이동갯수와 이동방향을 측정하였다.

  • In this paper, we study about the measuring algorithm that can implement Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) more efficiently by two measurement methods using smart sensor. Through the impedance measurement method, the damage condition of structures on wide area is monitored first, and then it changes the mode to guided wave measurement mode by mode switching algorithm when impedance measurement mode detects abnormal signals. Efficient handling of the real-time data would be available by analyzing location and shape of damage through guided wave measurement.

  • This paper presents a force control based on the observer without taking any force or torque measurement from the robot which allows realizing more stable and robust human robot interaction for the developed multi-functional upper limb rehabilitation robot. The robot has four functional training modes which can be classified by the human robot interaction types: passive, active, assistive, and resistive mode. The proposed observer consists of internal disturbance observer and external force observer for distinctive performance evaluation. Since four training modes can be quantitatively identified as impedance variation, position-based impedance control with feedback and feedforward controller was applied to the assistive training mode. The results showed that the proposed sensorless observer estimated cleaner and more accurate force compared to the force sensor and the impedance controller embedded with the proposed observer completed the assistive training mode safely and properly.

다중연결 해양부유체의 모형시험 구조응답 예측정확도 향상을 위한 유전알고리즘을 이용한 센서배치 최적화 (Optimal Sensor Placement for Improved Prediction Accuracy of Structural Responses in Model Test of Multi-Linked Floating Offshore Systems Using Genetic Algorithms)

  • 본 논문에서는 다목적 구조물인 다중연결 해양부유체를 대상으로 변형 기반 모드 차수축소법을 적용하고 차수축소모델의 구조응답 예측 성능을 향상시키기 위해 유전 알고리즘 기반의 센서 배치 최적화를 수행하였다. 다중연결 해양부유체의 차수축소모델 생성에 필요한 변형 기반 모드 데이터를 얻기 위해 다양한 규칙파랑하중조건에 대한 유체-구조 연성 수치해석을 수행하고 변형 기반 모드의 직교성, 자기상관계수를 이용하여 주요 변형 기반 모드를 선정하였다. 다중연결 해양부유체의 경우 차수축소모델의 구조응답 예측 성능이 계측 및 예측 구조응답 위치에 따라 민감하기 때문에 유전 알고리즘 기반의 최적화를 수행하여 최적의 센서 배치를 도출하였다. 최적화 결과, 모든 센서 배치 조합에 대한 차수축소모델 생성 및 예측 성능 평가 대비 약 8배의 계산 비용을 절감하였으며, 예측 성능 평가 지표인 평균 제곱근 오차가 초기 센서 배치보다 84% 감소하였다. 또한, 다중연결 해양부유체 모형시험 결과를 이용하여 불규칙파랑하중에 대한 최적화된 센서 배치의 차수축소모델의 구조응답 예측 성능을 평가 및 검증하였다.

Time-Matching Poisson Multi-Bernoulli Mixture Filter For Multi-Target Tracking In Sensor Scanning Mode

  • In Bayesian multi-target tracking, the Poisson multi-Bernoulli mixture (PMBM) filter is a state-of-the-art filter based on the methodology of random finite set which is a conjugate prior composed of Poisson point process (PPP) and multi-Bernoulli mixture (MBM). In order to improve the random finite set-based filter utilized in multi-target tracking of sensor scanning, this paper introduces the Poisson multi-Bernoulli mixture filter into time-matching Bayesian filtering framework and derive a tractable and principled method, namely: the time-matching Poisson multi-Bernoulli mixture (TM-PMBM) filter. We also provide the Gaussian mixture implementation of the TM-PMBM filter for linear-Gaussian dynamic and measurement models. Subsequently, we compare the performance of the TM-PMBM filter with other RFS filters based on time-matching method with different birth models under directional continuous scanning and out-of-order discontinuous scanning. The results of simulation demonstrate that the proposed filter not only can effectively reduce the influence of sampling time diversity, but also improve the estimated accuracy of target state along with cardinality.

다중모드 센서 신호 처리 프로세서의 FPGA 기반 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Multi-mode Sensor Signal Processor on FPGA Device)

  • Internet of Things (IoT) systems process signals from various sensors using signal processing algorithms suitable for the signal characteristics. To analyze complex signals, these systems usually use signal processing algorithms in the frequency domain, such as fast Fourier transform (FFT), filtering, and short-time Fourier transform (STFT). In this study, we propose a multi-mode sensor signal processor (SSP) accelerator with an FFT-based hardware design. The FFT processor in the proposed SSP is designed with a radix-2 single-path delay feedback (R2SDF) pipeline architecture for high-speed operation. Moreover, based on this FFT processor, the proposed SSP can perform filtering and STFT operation. The proposed SSP is implemented on a field-programmable gate array (FPGA). By sharing the FFT processor for each algorithm, the required hardware resources are significantly reduced. The proposed SSP is implemented and verified on Xilinxh's Zynq Ultrascale+ MPSoC ZCU104 with 53,591 look-up tables (LUTs), 71,451 flip-flops (FFs), and 44 digital signal processors (DSPs). The FFT, filtering, and STFT algorithm implementations on the proposed SSP achieve 185x average acceleration.

  • 이 논문은 파이프의 결함을 진단하기 위해서 파이프에 유도 비틀림파를 가진하고 수신하는 개선된 방법을 제시한다. 기존에 니켈 스트립을 파이프에 부착하고 잔류자계를 이용한 Mode 선택 가진 방법에서 나타난 잔류자계의 정량화 문제점, 다른 모드가 동시에 가진되는 문제점 등을 해결하기 위해서 새로운 형태의 Crossed Coils센서를 제안한다. 제안된 센서를 통해 모드 선택이 가능함을 확인하였고, 차후 모드분석을 통하여 Torsional Mode의 최적 가진 조건을 찾을 수 있음을 보인다.
