다중 SNS 채널 자동 스트리밍 서버의 RELAY 모듈 설계 (The RELAY Module Design of Multi SNS Channel Auto Streaming Server)

  • Streaming server is that an image produced in real time or a file form of image produced ahead consists of SNS service, and the relay module of streaming server includes output management module that set an output channel more than 2 and control transmission of video content. This thesis intends to suggest how to stream through plural output channel that contains output channel of external streaming server using relay module and do streaming provided to terminal receiving image, and streaming server, streaming system for this. Thus, by extending output channel sending out image to output channel of external streaming server, the scale of streaming server is not limited and the process allotting external streaming server into output channel sending the image becomes simple, so management of output channel becomes efficient even when sending several images.

  • In this paper, the multi-channel high speed data acquisition system is implemented. This high speed signal processing system for 3-D image display is applicable to the manipulation of a medical image processing, multimedia data and various fields of digital image processing. In order to convert the analog signal into digital one, A/D conversion circuit is designed. PCI interface method is designed and implemented, which is capable of transmission a large amount of data to computer. In order to, especially, channel extendibility of images acquisition, bus communication method is selected. By using this bus method, we can interface each module effectively. In this paper, 32-channel A/D conversion and PCI interface system for 3-dimensional and real-time display of the retina image is developed. The 32-channel image acquisition system and high speed data transmission system developed in this paper is applicable to not only medical image processing as 3-D representation of retina image but also various fields of industrial image processing in which the multi-point realtime image acquisition system is needed.

무선 채널 환경에서 워터마크가 삽입된 OFDM/QPSK 영상전송 시스템 시뮬레이터 구현에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Simulator Design of OFDM/QPSK Image Transmission System Embedded Watermark in Wireless Channel Environment)

  • 본 논문에서는 무선 채널환경에서 워터마크가 삽입된 OFDM/QPSK 영상전송 시스템 시뮬레이터를 구현하였다 성능분석으로써 무선 멀티미디어 서비스를 위해 OFDM/QPSK 영상전송 시스템을 이용하여 가우시안잡음, 다중경로페이딩이 고려된 무선채널 환경에서의 정지영상 이미지와 워터마크로 사용된 정보에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 워터마크 정보는 DM-SS 이미지 워터마킹 기법을 적용하였고, 무선 채널에서 영상에 삽입된 워터마킹의 손상을 경감시키기 위해 인터리빙 기법을 도입하였다. 실험 결과, 같은 다중경로페이딩 환경에서 인터리빙을 적용하였을 때 워터마크 이미지의 PSNR이 54,2371dB로 약 1dB정도 개선된 것을 알 수 있었다.

Image Translation of SDO/AIA Multi-Channel Solar UV Images into Another Single-Channel Image by Deep Learning

  • We translate Solar Dynamics Observatory/Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (AIA) ultraviolet (UV) multi-channel images into another UV single-channel image using a deep learning algorithm based on conditional generative adversarial networks (cGANs). The base input channel, which has the highest correlation coefficient (CC) between UV channels of AIA, is 193 Å. To complement this channel, we choose two channels, 1600 and 304 Å, which represent upper photosphere and chromosphere, respectively. Input channels for three models are single (193 Å), dual (193+1600 Å), and triple (193+1600+304 Å), respectively. Quantitative comparisons are made for test data sets. Main results from this study are as follows. First, the single model successfully produce other coronal channel images but less successful for chromospheric channel (304 Å) and much less successful for two photospheric channels (1600 and 1700 Å). Second, the dual model shows a noticeable improvement of the CC between the model outputs and Ground truths for 1700 Å. Third, the triple model can generate all other channel images with relatively high CCs larger than 0.89. Our results show a possibility that if three channels from photosphere, chromosphere, and corona are selected, other multi-channel images could be generated by deep learning. We expect that this investigation will be a complementary tool to choose a few UV channels for future solar small and/or deep space missions.

근거리 레이더용 K대역 다채널 전단 수신기 설계 및 제작 (Design and Fabrication of K-band multi-channel receiver for short-range RADAR)

  • 본 논문에서는 K대역의 신호를 수신하여 저잡음 증폭 및 L대역으로 하향 변환하는 다채널 전단 수신기를 설계 및 제작하였다. 제작된 다채널 전단 수신기는 잡음지수 2.3 dB 이하의 특성을 가지는 GaAs-HEMT 기반의 저잡음 증폭소자, 이미지 성분의 억제를 위한 IR(Image Rejection) Filter, 이미지 성분 억제와 IMD (Intermodulation Distortion) 특성 개선을 위한 IR(Image rejection) 믹서를 포함한다. 제작된 다채널 전단 수신기의 시험결과, 3.8 dB 이하의 잡음지수와 27 dB 이상의 변환이득을 가지며 입력신호 기준 -9.5 dBm 이상의 P1dB(1dB Gain Compression Point) 특성을 나타내었다.

멀티채널 언샤프 마스크 기법을 이용한 영상 세부제어 (Enhanced image detail control using Multi Channel Unsharp Mask Technique)

  • 언샤프 마스크 기법은 입력 영상에 그 영상의 경계를 추출 한 결과 영상을 더하여 영상의 경계를 강조하는 기법이다. 이 기법은 영상의 경계를 강화하여 화질을 개선시키지만 전체적인 대비 강화에 취약하고 잡음에 민감하여 영상을 거칠게 만든다는 단점이 있다. 멀티 채널 언샤프 마스크는 두 개 이상의 언샤프 마스크 채널을 적용하여 전체 영상에 대한 대비 강화가 가능하고 영상의 거친 느낌을 완화 할 수 있다. 그러나 이 기법은 스케일을 강하게 적용해도 경계가 약한 부분에 대한 강화에 한계가 있다는 단점이 존재한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 이 논문에서는 기존 멀티 채널 언샤프 마스크의 선형적인 스케일링 방법에 지수함수를 도입하여 비선형적인 스케일링을 가능하도록 하였다. 실험결과 기존 언샤프 마스크 기법에 비해 영상강화에 세부적인 제어가 가능해서 원하는 영역에 대한 대비를 강화할 수 있었다.

Multi-Channel 피부색 모델을 이용한 얼굴영역추출과 효율적인 특징벡터를 이용한 얼굴 인식 (The Facial Area Extraction Using Multi-Channel Skin Color Model and The Facial Recognition Using Efficient Feature Vectors)

  • 본 논문에서는 얼굴영역을 검출하기위해 얼굴 피부색을 보다 효과적으로 모델링하기 위한 피부색 특성을 고려하여 밝기 성분을 제거한 Red, Blue, Green 채널을 모두 사용하는 Hue, Cb, Cg의 M배i-Channel 피부색 모델을 사용한다. 얼굴영역을 분리한 영상에 Harr 웨이블릿을 이용한 에지영상 추출과 얼굴영역의 특징벡터를 구하기 위하여 26개의 특징벡터를 사용한 효율적인 고차 국소 자동 상관함수를 사용하였다. 계산된 특징벡터는 BP 신경망의 학습을 통하여 얼굴인식을 위한 데이터로 사용된다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 알고리즘에 의한 인식률향상과 속도 향상을 입증한다.

  • Multi-Spectral Camera(MSC) is a main payload on the KOMPSAT-2 satellite to perform the earth remote sensing. The MSC instrument has one(1) channel for panchromatic imaging and four(4) channel for multi-spectral imaging covering the spectral range from 450nm to 900nm using TDI CCD Focal Plane Array (FPA). The compression method on KOMPSAT-2 MSC was selected and used to match EOS input rate and PDTS output data rate on MSC image data chain. At once the MSC performance was carefully handled to minimize any degradation so that it was analyzed and restored in KGS(KOMPSAT Ground Station) during LEOP and Cal./Val.(Calibration and Validation) phase. In this paper, on-orbit image data chain in MSC and image data processing on KGS including general MSC description is briefly described. The influences on image performance between on-board compression algorithms and between performance restoration methods in ground station are analyzed and discussed.

Real Scene Text Image Super-Resolution Based on Multi-Scale and Attention Fusion

  • Plenty of works have indicated that single image super-resolution (SISR) models relying on synthetic datasets are difficult to be applied to real scene text image super-resolution (STISR) for its more complex degradation. The up-to-date dataset for realistic STISR is called TextZoom, while the current methods trained on this dataset have not considered the effect of multi-scale features of text images. In this paper, a multi-scale and attention fusion model for realistic STISR is proposed. The multi-scale learning mechanism is introduced to acquire sophisticated feature representations of text images; The spatial and channel attentions are introduced to capture the local information and inter-channel interaction information of text images; At last, this paper designs a multi-scale residual attention module by skillfully fusing multi-scale learning and attention mechanisms. The experiments on TextZoom demonstrate that the model proposed increases scene text recognition's (ASTER) average recognition accuracy by 1.2% compared to text super-resolution network.

An Object Oriented Approach for Multi-Channel and Multi-Polarization NASA/JPL POLSAR Image Classification

  • This paper presents an object oriented approach(OOA) for classification of multi-channel and multi-polarization NASA/JPL POLSAR images. Some test results in Taiwan are also given and analyzed. It is concluded that this approach can utilize as more information of both low- and high-levels involved in all images as possible for image classification and thus provides a better classification accuracy. For instance, the OOA has a better overall classification accuracy(98.27%) than the nearest-neighbor classifier(91.31%) and minimum-distance classifier(80.52%).
