Sensitivity Analysis to the Design Factor of Ocean Outfall System (방류관 설계인자에 대한 민감도 분석)

  • A demand of marine outfall system has been much increased for the effective disposal of the wastewater due to population and industrial development at the coastal areas. The outfall system discharges primary or secondary treated effluent into the coastline, or at the deep water, or between these two. The discharge is carried out by constructing a pipeline on the sea bed with a diffuser or with a tunnel, risers and appropriate. The effluent, which has a density similar to that of fresh water, rises to the sea surface forming plume or jet, together with entraining the surrounding salt water and becomes very dilute. Thus there have been growing interests about plume behaviour around the outfall system. Plume or jet discharged from single-port or multi-port diffuser might cause certain impacts on coastal environment. Near field mixing characteristics of discharged water field using CORMIX model have been studied for effective outfall design various conditions on ambient current, depth, flow rate, effluent concentration, diffuser specification, port specification etc.. This kind of analysis is necessary to deal with water quality problems caused by the ocean discharge. The analyzed result was applied to the Pusan Jungang effluent outfall system plan.

On the Evaluation of Physical Distribution Service in Ports (항만물류서비스의 평가에 관하여)

  • It is required to consider pricing and non-pricing factors and external economy in order to achieve the objects of physical distribution system in a port. Recently, among the three factors, much attention has been paid to non-pricing factor in the system. Although physical distribution service in a port(PDSP)has been frequently mentioned in documents and literature related to port and shipping studies, few study on it has not been systematically and scientifically made due to the following problems; $\circ$ there are not proper criteria to evaluate level and quality of PDSP and as a result it is difficult to set up a unified standard for doing so. $\circ$ algorithms to evaluate problems with complex and ambiguous attributes and multiple levels in PDSP are not available. This thesis aims to establish a paradigm to evaluate PDSP and to abvance existing decision making methods to deal with complex and ambiguous problems in PDSP. To tackle the first purpose, extensive and thorough literature survey was carried out on general physical distribution service, which is a corner stone to handle PDSp. In addition, through interviews and questionnaire to the expert, it have extracted 82 factors of physical distribution service in a port. They have been classified into 6 groups by KJ method and each group defined by the expert's advice as follows; a. Potentiality b. Exactness c. safety d. Speediness e. Convenience f. Linkage Prior to the service evaluation, many kinds of its attributes must be identified on the basis of rational decision owing to complexity and ambiguity inherent in PDSP. An analytical hierarchy process (AHP) is a method to evaluate them but it is not applicable to PDSP that have property of non-additivity and overlapped attributes. Therefore, probablility measure can not be used to evaluate PDSP but fuzzy measure is required. Hierarchical fuzzy integral method, which is merged AHP with fuzzy measure, is also not effective method to evaluate attributes because it has vary complicated way to calculate fuzzy measure identification coefficient of attributes. A new evaluation algorithm has been introduced to solve problems with multi-attribute and multi-level hierarchy, which is called hierarchy fuzzy process(HFP).Analysis on ambiguous aspects of PDSP under study which is not easy to be defined is prerequisite to evaluate it. HFP is different from algorithm existed in that it clarified the relationship between fuzzy measure and probability measure adopted in AHP and that it directly calculates the family of fuzzy measure from overlapping coefficient and probability measure to treat and evaluate ambiguous and complex aspects of PDSP. A new evaluation algorithm HFP was applied to evaluate level of physical distribution service in the biggest twenty container port in the world. The ranks of the ports are as follows; 1.   • Container Vessel is becoming larger and faster thanks to the rapid growth of global trade and development of technology. Therefore, 15,000TEU vessel is expected to be ordered in near future. Every nations in north-east Asia are facing strong competition to be logistics hub to get the initiatives of logistics in response to the rapid change of logistics environment. According to the globalization of economy and major ports in this region also are trying to catch big shipping line for their survival. Considering above circumstances of the advent of ultra-large container vessel and spoke-and-hub strategy, it is inevitably necessary to make a fast and accurate vessel job in the terminal in order to be a leading port To meet this objective, current vessel planning system has to be improved innovatively. Therefore, this thesis propose multi distributed vessel planning system which enables multi loading/discharging planning with several planner simultaneously for faster and more accurate than existing planning and enhances quality of planning through information sharing among planners. Also this thesis uses simulation through Arena to verify the efficiency of this multi-distributed vessel planning system.

Real-time Implementation of a Tone Sender/Receiver on a High Performance DSP (고성능 DSP를 이용한 톤 송수신기의 실시간 구현)

  • In this paper, we present real-time implementation of a R2MFC/DTMF (R2 Multi Frequency Combinations/Dual Tone Multiple Frequency) tone receiver/sender using a high performance DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and apply it to a carrier class VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) gateway system. The Receiver utilizes the Goertzel filter and the sender adopts the harmonic resonant filter. We describe, in detail, the techniques of multi-channel real-time implementation on a Texas Instruments TMS320C62x DSP such as effective PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) in/out by means of DMA (Direct Memory Access) and McBSP (Multi Channel Buffered Serial Port) and message communication via HPI (Host Port Interface), etc. From experimental results, we confirmed that the optimized code provided 780 channel capacity at 250㎒ C6202, and the our R2MFC/DTMF receiver/sender met ITU-T (International Telecommunication Union-Telecommunication) specifications.

A Study on a development plan for multi-transportation in Incheon: Focused on Incheon and main cities in Northern China (인천지역의 복합운송체계별 발전방안 연구 - 인천과 상해이북지역 중심으로 -)

  • This study shows how Incheon will advance into roadmap as multi-transport hub in Northeast Asia hereafter and be proposed an urgent tasks and roles to construct a multi-transportation system for Incheon, which has both an international airport and port. The multi-transportation point of view of inter-major cities competitiveness of total scores was proposed 1. Shanghai(64.8 points), 2 in Hongkong(64.5), 3 in Incheon(62.9), and 4 in Busan(60.4) and Incheon was estimated to have enough competitiveness to be the international multi-transport hub in Northeast Asia. Sea & Air transportation revealed the most important multi-transportation in the Incheon region. In conclusion, this research suggests a development plan for multi-transportation in Incheon. Firstly, it proposes construction of sea & air transportation distribution center and agreement that simplifies logistic process between Incheon and Tianjin, secondly, suggests to activate project for the purpose of creating a better sea-land transportation system between Incheon and Shanghai.

  • This paper presents a study on DSP(TMS320F240) controller design for multi-axes transportation system using BLDC servo motor. This BLDC servo motor controller was realized with DSP(Digital Signal Processor) and IPM (Intelligent Power Module). The multi-axes transportation system needs torque, speed, position control of servo motor for variable action. This paper implements those servo control with vector control and space vector modulation technique. As CPU of controller DSP(TMS320F240) is adopted because, it has PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) waveform generator, A/D(Analog to Digital) converter, SPI(Serial Peripheral Interface) port and input/output port etc. The controller of multi-axes transportation system consists of 3-level hierarchy structure that main host PC manages three sub DSP system which transfer downword command and are monitoring the states of end servo controllers. Each sub DSP system operates eight BLDC servo controllers which control BLDC servo motor using DSP and IPM Between host system and middle digital signal processor communicate with RS-422, between main processor and controller communicate with SPI port.

  • 본 논문에서는 RTSP 프로토콜을 제어하기 위한 서버 시스템을 IOCP 기반의 Multi-Thread 기법을 이용하여 구현하는 방법을 소개한다. 다수의 클라이언트에 대한 응답을 Thread로 구성하는 부분에서 Multi-Threading을 이용함으로써 수행 속도를 높이고 Winsock2에서 제공하는 IOCP(T/O Completion Port)를 이용하여 견고하고 확장이 용이한 RTSP(Real Time Streaming Protocol) 스트리밍 서버를 개발하였다.

  • This paper proposes MFMCAM(Multi-Functional Multi-port CAM) which has several ports with same characteristic function. This device can process data faster than the conventional single port CAM. MFMCAM is superior to CAMs formed in parallel on the stand points of frequency and module resources. Two representative applications of MFMCAM, sorter and router, are also presented.

  • The simplified equivalent by using the short circuit impedance has been used for analyzing the prospective transient recovery voltage of the large power system. But it sometimes generates untorelable error in the rate-of-rise of TRV when using the Thevenin equivalent source. This paper provides the new equivalent by using the multi-port theory. The application of the new method to the sample system gives satisfactory accuracy compared with the short-circuit equivalent.

  • FMS와 같은 자동생산시스템은 단위생산시스템으로서의 운영단계에서 타 생산시스템과의 통합된 시스템으로서 운영이 됨과 동시에, 원격지에서의 모니터링 및 제어가 요구되는 단계로 발전되고 있다. 단위설비 및 생산시스템의 현재 상태를 파악하고, 이를 이용하여 시스템 운전을 수행할 수 있도록 지원하는 네트워크와 통신기술이 필수적으로 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 인터넷 기반으로 NC 공작기계를 포함한 FMS 의 원격 모니터링과 제어를 수행하도록 지원하는 장치인 게이트웨이 개발과 활용방안에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.
