This paper is intended as an verification of moving load simulation techniques. The concern with dynamic problem of railway bridge caused by the moving train loads has been growing. Over the past few years, several studies have been made on dynamic stability of railway bridge analytically. But very few attempts have been made at experimental research. From the dynamic stability view point, the moving train loads simulation test is revolutionary idea. It can be replace restrictive filed test with new laboratory test. This study investigates minimum specifications of hardware and basic parameters. it is used 12m girder and high performance actuator for experimental verification.
The simulated indoor pass-by noise measurement system is the tool to measure and evaluate the pass-by noise at the test laboratory, without doing measurement at the field. This measurement system can realize the precision measurement under the specific condition and overcome the limitations of the field measurement, i.e. weather conditions, repeatability, .. This measurement system is done in time domain process using the array techniques, which synchronizes the time signals. The reliability of the obtained result depends on the array shapes, which can generate the moving source effect. In this paper, the validations are checked focusing the time domain synchronization of the signals with the optimum microphone array shape.
This study analyzes customer buying-behavior patterns in a department store as time goes on, and predicts moving patterns of its customers. Through them, it suggests in this paper short-term and long-term marketing promotion strategies. RFM techniques are utilized for customer segmentation. Customers are clustered by using the Kohonen's Self Organizing Map as a method of data mining techniques. Then C5.0, a decision tree analysis technique, is used to predict moving patterns of customers. Using real world data, this study evaluates the prediction accuracy of predictive models.
The proposed neural network technique is the real time computation method based theory of inter-node diffusion for searching the safety distances from the sudden appearance-objects during the work driving. The main steps of the distance computation using the theory of stereo vision like the eyes of man is following steps. One is the processing for finding the corresponding points of stereo images and the other is the interpolation processing of full image data from nonlinear image data of objects. All of therm request much memory space and time. Therefore the most reliable neural-network algorithm is drived for real-time matching of obejects, which is composed of a dynamic programming algorithm based on sequence matching techniques in moving objects.
This study presents and algorithm and related techniques which could satisfy the important properties of check weighers and conveyor scales. The algorithm of Recursive Least Squares Regression is applied for the weighing system simulated as a dynamic model of the second order. Using the model and the algorithm, model parameters and then the mass being weighed can be determined from the step input. The performance of the algorithm was tested on a check weigher. Discussions were extended to the development of noise reduction techniques and to the lagged introduction of objects on the moving plate. It turns out that the algorithm shows several desirable features suitable for real-time signal processing with a microcomputer, which are high precision and stability in noisy environment.
The techniques of joint mobilization and traction are used to improve joint mobility or to decrease pain by restoring accessory movements to the shoulder joints and thus allowing full, nonrestriced, pain-free range of motion. In the glenohumeral joint, the humeral head would be the convex surface, while the glenoid fossa would be the concave surface. The medial end of the clavicle is concave anterioposteriorly and convex superioinferiorly, the articular surface of the sternum is reciprocally curved. The acromioclavicular joint is a plane synovial joint between a small convex facet on lateral end of the clavicle and a small concave facet on the acromion of the scapula. The relationship between the shape of articulating joint surface and the direction of gliding is defined by the convex-concave rule. If the concave joint surface is moving on a stationary convex surface, gliding occur in the same direction as the rolling motion. If the convex surface is moving on a stationary concave surface, gliding will occur in an opposite direction to rolling. Hypomobile shoulder joint are treated be using a gliding technique.
Detent force develops generally undesirable effect that contributes to the output ripple of machine, vibration and noise. This paper proposes detent force minimization techniques for a Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor (PMLSM). In addition, thrust according to each minimization technique is estimated to observe the change of machine performance. A two-dimensional Finite Element Method is used to predict detent force and thrust due to structural factors and non-linearity. And moving node technique for geometric models is proposed to reduce modeling time and efforts.

Most functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) studies in resting state have assumed that the functional connectivity (FC) between time series from distinct brain regions is constant. However, increased interest has recently been in quantifying possible dynamic changes in FC during fMRI experiments. FC study may provide insight into the fundamental workings of brain networks to brain activity. In this work, we focus on the specific problem of estimating the dynamic behavior of pairwise correlations between time courses extracted from two different brain regions. We compare the sliding-window techniques such as moving average (MA) and exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA), dynamic causality with vector autoregressive (VAR) model, dynamic conditional correlation (DCC) based on volatility, and the proposed alternative methods to use differencing and recursive residuals. We investigate the properties of those techniques in a series of simulation studies. We also provide an application with major depressive disorder (MDD) patient fMRI data to demonstrate studying dynamic correlations.
