In this paper, we experimentally investigated the precision of 3D positioning using 4S-Van images in photograrmmetric perspective. The 3D calibration target was built over building facade outside and was captured separately by two CCD cameras installed in 4S-Van. After then, we determined the interior orientation parameter for each CCD camera through self-calibration technique. With the interior orientation parameter computed, the bundle adjustment was performed to obtain the exterior orientation parameters simultaneously for two CCD cameras using calibration target image and object coordinates. The reverse lens distortion coefficients were computed and acquired by least squares method so as to introduce lens distortion into epipolar line. It was shown that the reverse lens distortion coefficients could transform image coordinates into lens distorted image coordinates within about 0.5 pixel. The proposed semi-automatic matching scheme incorporated with lens distorted epipolar line was implemented with scene images captured by 4S-Van in moving. The experimental results showed that the precision of 3D positioning from 4S-Van images in photograrmmetric perspective is within 2cm in the range of 20m from the camera.

RFID is application field is very wide. For example, There is parking administration system, bookkeeper administration system etc. Such application system must do priority Carrier wave choice according to application purpose. If in case of Carrier frequency is low, awareness distance is short and Carrier frequency is high, awareness distance is very long. This uses in case awareness object is fast-moving. And it must be Tag's supply and demand's that is smooth. Even if development of system is completed, if Tag's purchase is difficult, developing item is not need. In this paper, we shows RFID system using EM4095 chip that is using 125KHz by carrier wave. EM4095 is high effectiveness chip of the low-power and circuit is very simple. It is possible to read with being write as that connect 4 lines with MCU. MCU used Atmega128. As result, we explained circuit and control programs for each part, and show Tag's ID reception that use Reader by picture.

It is very difficult that a previous surveillance system and vehicle detection system find objects on a limited and unstable illumination condition. This paper proposes a robust method of adaptively updating a reference background image for solving problems that are generated by the unstable illumination. The first input image is set up as the reference background image, and is divided into three block categories according to an edge component. Then a block state analysis, which uses a rate of change of the brightness, a stability, a color information, and an edge component on each block, is applied to the input image. On the reference background image, neighbourhood blocks having the same state of a updated block are merged as a block. The proposed method can generate a robust reference background image because it distinguishes a moving object area from an unstable illumination. The proposed method very efficiently updates the reference background image from the point of view of the management and the processing time. In order to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed stable manner in situation that an illumination quickly changes.

Augmented reality systems are widely used in the fields of entertainment, shopping, education, and training, and the augmented reality technology is gradually increasing in importance. When augmented reality technology is used for education or training, it must be possible to represent different virtual objects depending on the work stage even for the same marker. Also, since the training content varies depending on the situation, it is necessary to describe it using a training scenario. In order to solve this problem, we propose a scenario markup language for an augmented reality system that can create training content based on a scenario and connect it with an augmented reality system. The scenario markup language for augmented reality provides functions such as a method for connecting a scene, a marker and a virtual object, a method for grasping the state of equipment or sensor value, and a method for moving a scene according to conditions. The augmented reality scenario markup language can flexibly increase the usefulness and expandability of the augmented reality system usage method and content usage.
This article is devoted to investigating young learners' understanding of elapsed time from socio-cultural perspectives. The socio-cultural perspective benefits to access and personalize mathematics learning as how to have a mathematical object to be able to realize signifiers with the help of many other mathematical words and mediators. In terms of the realization of signifiers, I analyzed performances on elapsed time tasks of students in Grades 3 (n=115) and interviewed focal students. Quantitative analysis on students' performance identified that students perform differently when the task provided with the analog clock signifier. It suggested that students might think in a different way upon the given signifier even for the same elapsed time, especially when given as the analog clock. Qualitative analysis on focal students' interviews visualized how the students' understanding were different by displaying individual realization trees on elapsed time. The particular location of the analog clock signifier on each realization tree provided a personalized explanation about low performance on the task with analog clock signifier. The finding suggested that the realization of a specific signifier could be a key point in elapsed time understanding. I discussed why a majority of students face difficulty in elapsed time learning indicated analog clock and the advantage of moving elapsed time strands to higher grades in the school mathematics curriculum.

In this study, real-time character navigation using AR lens developed by Nreal is developed. Real-time character navigation is not possible with general marker-based AR because NPC characters must guide while moving in an unspecified space. To replace this, a markerless AR system was developed using Digital Twin technology. Existing markerless AR is operated based on hardware such as GPS, gyroscope, and magnetic sensor, so location accuracy is low and processing time in the system is long, resulting in low reliability in real-time AR environment. In order to solve this problem, using the SLAM technique to construct a space into a 3D object and to construct a markerless AR based on point location, AR can be implemented without any hardware intervention in a real-time AR environment. This real-time AR environment configuration made it possible to implement a navigation system using characters in tourist attractions such as Suncheon Bay Garden and Suncheon Drama Filming Site.
Various approaches have been applied to transform aquaculture from a manual, labour-intensive industry to one dependent on automation technologies in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. Technologies associated with the monitoring of physical condition have successfully been applied in most aquafarm facilities; however, real-time biological monitoring systems that can observe fish condition and behaviour are still required. In this study, we used a video recorder placed on top of a fish tank to observe the swimming patterns of rock bream (Oplegnathus fasciatus), first one fish alone and then a group of five fish. Rock bream in the video samples were successfully identified using the you-only-look-once v3 algorithm, which is based on the Darknet-53 convolutional neural network. In addition to recordings of swimming behaviour under normal conditions, the swimming patterns of fish under abnormal conditions were recorded on adding an anaesthetic or lowering the salinity. The abnormal conditions led to changes in the velocity of movement (3.8 ± 0.6 cm/s) involving an initial rapid increase in speed (up to 16.5 ± 3.0 cm/s, upon 2-phenoxyethanol treatment) before the fish stopped moving, as well as changing from swimming upright to dying lying on their sides. Machine learning was applied to datasets consisting of normal or abnormal behaviour patterns, to evaluate the fish behaviour. The proposed algorithm showed a high accuracy (98.1%) in discriminating normal and abnormal rock bream behaviour. We conclude that artificial intelligence-based detection of abnormal behaviour can be applied to develop an automatic bio-management system for use in the aquaculture industry.

The object of this study is to propose a rate of vibration increase in the analysis of temporary rail non-fixed in the vertical direction and characterize the nonlinear dynamic behavior of temporary rail while considering longitudinal and latitudinal load, vibration and lifting. The rate of vibration increase is proposed through measurement of an actual structure that is largely affected by loading and vibration of the superstructure. Dynamic behavior was additionally characterized by the dynamic response resulting from nonlinear dynamic finite element analysis with vehicle loading, including the rate of vibration increase. As a result, the rate of vibration increase by the vibration of an Auto Bar Machine is determined as 7% and the maximum stress in the analysis of the nonlinear rail is increased 14.5% over that of linear rail, and temporary rail is shown to be very sensitive to the velocity of the superstructure.
In this paper, we propose a single framework based on the MPM(Material Point Method) that can represent the dynamic angular motion of the elementary particle unit. In this study, the particles can have various shapes while also describing linear and angular motion. As a result, unlike other particle-based simulations, which only represent linear movements of spherical (e.g. Circle, Sphere) particles, it is possible to express the visually dynamic motion of them. The proposed framework utilizes MPM, due to the fact that rotational motion can be decomposed and derived from large deformation. During the integration process of the presented technique, a deformation gradient tensor is decomposed by polar decomposition theory for extracting rotation tensor. By applying this together with the linear motion of each particle, as a result, it is possible to simultaneously express the angluar and linear motion of the particle itself. To verify the proposed method, we show the simulation of rotating particles scattering in the wind field, and the interaction(e.g. Collision) between a moving object and them by comparing the traditional MPM
