In recent years, explosive increase in population has been damaging mankind in terms of deprivation of natural resources and more of economical demands. Therefore, we have thought about problems as to counter-balance the increasing population, and reached a resolution of artificial methods of controlling birth. In the past, though now used in some of contraceptive methods, extravaginal ejaculation, condom were commonly used. But recently, pills, IUD and several kinds of operative procedures are quite popular. Though the recent methods are known to be effective compared with the traditional methods, a certain unwanted side effects as well as limited value of usages now must be discussed. On this aspect, we are trying to research for a ideal methods such as symptom free, more of natural way of family planning and try to zero the failure rate. And also it has been suggested that only if those scientific methods of controlling birth can be base on religious concepts of moral being, it will be enlightened. At the Happy Family Planning Clinic of St. Mary's Hospital, we apply Billing's ovulation method to out-patients who want contraception and usually advise them to use it on a self-care basis. For a retrospective study of the presurvey data analysis and use-effectiveness of the ovulation method from April 1, 1975 to Nov., 30, 1975, we have dealt with a total of 1,383 women (urban areas 465, rural areas 918). The results of preliminary survey were as follows; 1) Among 465 women in Seoul areas, the failure rate was 10.3, which signified unplanned pregnancies of 32 women. 27 of the 32 women were pregnant due to the users own failure and the remaing 5 due to the failure of the method. Therefore, the failure of the method accounted for 1.6. 2) Among 918 women in rural areas, the failure rate was 15.2 signifing unplanned pregnancies in 93 women. The cause of the failure in 81 of the 93 women was attributable to the user's own mistake and that in the remaing 12 to the default of the method. Therefore, the failure attributable to the method accounted for 2.0.

Results (1) Lee Je-ma's thought of Iinsim Tosim is closely connected each other. There is close correlation between Iinsim and Tosim such as both ends. And Iinsim Tosim is not virtue and vice relation but all good concept, though each have fragility, Iinsim have weakness of laziness and Tosim have that of desire. (2) Lee Je-ma insist on having lisim(理心)-kyungsim(敬心) for overcoming each fragility that weakness of laziness and desire. And he present learning(學) and speculation(思) for acquirement of lisim(理心) kyungsim(敬心). (3) Lee Je-ma's thought of Iinsim Tosim's containing meaning is not one side but both side for nature(性) & emotion(情). therefore Iinsim Tosim is closely connected Lee Je-ma's view of human being and theory of knowledge & conduction(Ji-Hang, 知行論). That is very different from existing confucianism & MyungSunlock(Book of Illuminating Goodnes)'s thought. (4) Iinsim is connected with knowledge(知), Tosim is connected with conduction(行) (5) Lee Je-ma's thought of Affairs - Mind - Body - Objects(事心身物) is closely connected with Iinsim-Tosim. 4. Conclusions There are no parts that directly criticized by LEE JE-MA, comparing with he's thought and the existing confucianism's theory of Iinsim Tosim, a specific person's theory. but LEE JE-MA approached the theory of Iinsim Tosim with thought that is not an extension of existing confucianism's thought, but original with himself, therefore LEE JE-MA's thought of Iinsim Tosim is closely connected with the most important conceptions (theory of nature & emotion, theory of knowledge & conduction) at the Sasang Constitutional Medicine. and Iinsim Tosim is an important clue for understanding the thought of LEE JE-MA.
In this study, a survey was conducted to determine the understanding by teachers at KIPO-funded high schools of the specialized training of invention patent personnel. The subjects were 4 high schools and 126 copies of questionnaires were collected for analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, teachers understand that it is particularly important to provide a specialized training for students so that they can more effectively adapt to the changes in their lives. They also consider basic job skills training, moral education and job readiness training as equally important. Second, they recognize the necessity for a specialized training of invention patent personnel. Third, they think that redundant teachers arising from the reform of the curriculum for specialized training should be provided with minor training. Fourth, they think that the reform of the curriculum for specialized training should consider the following aspects: the development of a curriculum for invention patent-specialized high schools, the strengthening of administrative financial supports, the creation of a consensus among those involved for the success of the specialized training, the development of textbooks and materials, and the consideration of the future prospects and current conditions of the invention patent industry. Fifth, they think that the successful operation of specialized high schools requires the consideration of the following factors: users' understanding, conformance, selection & concentration and uniqueness.
In this study, we examined how the United States, Chinese, and Japanese viewers perceive the morality of the main characters in the family drama 'Take Care of Mom' and the influence of the perceived morality has on drama enjoyment and quality evaluation. Results show that the viewers from all three countries evaluated 'Hoonjae' favorably and evaluated selfish older brother, 'Hyung Kyu', unfavorably. This means there are common norms that exist in all three countries for judging the good and evil in a drama. However, the main female characters that played opposing characteristics were evaluated differently from all three countries. This is because the relationship between parents and children, and the role of mother and woman were perceived differently from each country. These results support the argument that consumption of drama may differ by viewer's cultural background. Additionally, the research hypothesis that 'moral evaluation of major characters will influence the drama enjoyment and evaluation of the drama quality' was not supported in China and Japan, and was only supported by the U.S. viewers.

This research is attempted to investigate Dongcheon-rock inscription- to understand symbolic meanings from inscribed texts and to find its construction purpose. For the investigation, 25 target areas were selected for field exploration and literature review regarding Dongcheon were also performed. Several design characteristics of Dongcheon are as follows: First, Dongcheon has four criteria according to creation purpose: residential type(家居地型), hermitage type(隱棲地型), nature excursion type(山水遊覽型), aesthetic scenery type(勝景型), moral training type(修身型) and spiritual discipline type(修道地型). This category shows that Dongcheon is constructed at residential area, shelters, and place for leisure, mortal training and spiritual discipline. Second, Dongcheon is also classified by its location: location on village entrance in a deep forest(深山同口型) and location on near stream(溪流隣接型); location on near stream has also two types(連繫型, 單一領域型): location on an independent territory and location horizontal ground(平地型). Through garden creators' managing their garden in forest, valley and scenic spots, they pursue utopia. Third, naming is a way to create new landscape places. By naming a certain natural landscape as Dongcheon, the landscape is symbolized as utopia, appearing fairyland. Designer's desire and thoughts are saturated in Dongcheon.
This study set out to analyze the perceptions of investigative police officers and division police officers regarding Police Investigation Specialization, which had been in effect for four years, identify the problems, and search for alternative policies. The results led to the following alternative policies; first, the communication among the members should be facilitated by trading the jobs between investigative policemen and division members in certain percentage regularly, integrating job education and special work, and developing diverse support programs for detective activities to provide them with opportunities to experience and understand investigation. The second suggestion concerns the investigation members' morale. There should be a range of measures to boost their moral such as allocating separate budget and personnel to support the investigation department and the treatment of major criminal and civil cases, giving each investigation team an office and investigation room to improve their working environment, readjusting the promotion ratio of Police Investigation Specialization to introduce a promotion system proper for each investigation's characteristics. The third suggestion is to secure job efficiency. It's required to reinforce the current short-term specialized education program to bring up practical and professional investigators, open the certification exam of professional investigators to all members so that every policeman can have their abilities recognized and approved as long as they have the demanded capabilities, and create a system of shedding off the members idle at work by reflecting low performance records when evaluating the members to decide who to dismiss from Police Investigation Specialization. And finally, it's important to divide duties rationally. The rationality of duties division can be guaranteed by setting the guidelines for direct handling for the team leader to help him devote himself to his duties, defining objective criteria of measuring investigation workload, and creating devoted systems and teams for simple and small accidents so that experienced investigators can deal with high-profile cases.
This study was performed to investigate the relationship between mandibular midline shift and anteroposterior first molar occlusal relation, and their effects on the mandibular height and the occlusal plane angle. For this study, 49 patients with temporomandibular disorders were selected. They did not show facial asymmetry and their facial midline coincide with maxillary dental midline. Upper and lower mandibular impression were taken and the casts were fabricated. Amount and direction of the mandibular midline shift and the anteroposterior shift between the two occluding first molars were measured on the casts. Several items related to height such as mandibular height from top of the articular surface of the condyle to curve changing point between antegonial notch and mandibular angle, condylar height which was the vertical distance from the articular surface to retroepicondyle of the condyle, and sigmoid height from the deepest point of sigmoid notch to the curve changing point and the occlusal plane angle were also measured on the panoramic and on the transcranial radiographs. Correlation between midline shift and anteroposterior first molar relation and comparison between right and left mandibular height by the midline shift and the first molar relation were analysed by SPSS windows program. The results of this study were as follows : 1. Mean amount of midline shift in the subjects with midline shift were 2.0mm for both side, respectively. The first molar relation of the ipsilateral side of midline shift showed Angle class II tendency and the contralateral side showed Angle class III tendency, which meant drift of the dentition to the side of the midline shift. 2. The occlusal plane angle on the panoramic radiograph were $13.0^{\circ}$ in right, and $12.5^{\circ}$ in left side, and their were no correlation between occlusal plane angle and mandibular midline shift and the first molar occlusal relation. 3. Angle's classification for both sides of the first molar relation were same in about half of all the subjects. Amount of deviation from class I first molar relation, however, were decreased in the contralateral side of observed side. 4. Mandibular height of the ipsilateral side to which mandibular midline shift showed tendency of lower than that of the contralateral side, and there was a tendency that the height was higher in class III subjects, then class II subjects, and lower in class I subjects. However, condylar height did not show any difference in the subjects with midline shift and also show no difference by the first molar occlusal relation.
This research aimed at investigating Kim Gyoshin's recognition on Korean traditional ideology and harmony of Christian idea and traditional idea through the writing and diary in "Bible Joseon". Kim Gyoshin expressed positive interest in Korean traditional idea and traditional religion, and intended to localize Christian belief through communicating with them. He expressed infinite respect for national cultural asset of Buddhism, intending to research Korean Buddhism. He paid utmost attention to Confucianism among traditional ideas. He had a strong affection for learning(好學), benevolence(仁義), conscience(良心) of Confucianism as patriotic character. He calmly practiced caution and solitary(愼獨) of sincere(誠), solemnity(敬) of Confucianism through his life, however he chose Christian belief by accepting atonement belief realizing human sinful nature fundamentally inherent in human being. He personally respected Confucius and lived after the model of him, however he searched the spirit of life to renew the people from Christianity. Academically, he respected Confucius, and believed in Jesus in religion. He highly evaluated the attitude of patriot(志士), which highly regarded the academic attitude of learning(好學) and benevolence(仁義), in this regard, criticized blind and non-intellectual belief. He had an open attitude toward Korean traditional idea with no prejudice. As human individuals have their own inherent moral value, he viewed that each people would have their inherent ethnicity and mission. He considered that Korean Peninsula where contradiction and yoke of the world history are inherent is the center of East Asia that would purify injustice of the world. He viewed that Korean people had owned their original good heart[仁] even before Buddhism and Confucianism had been transmitted to the country. He determined that Korean people were good people, who received goodness from the heaven. However, while Uchimura created Japanese style Christianity by adapting Japanese knighthood to Christian idea, Kim Gyoshin lacked sharp critical mind regarding how to establish Korean style Christianity by adapting which of Korean traditional idea to Christian idea.
