  • 신재생에너지의 보급이 증가하면서 기존의 시스템과 신규 설치되는 시스템을 원격지에서 효율적으로 관리하는 모니터링 기술이 필수가 되었다 이들 모니터링 기술에는 발전 출력량과 기상조건 등의 복합적 요소 모니터링 기술이 필요하다. 다중 채널을 이용하여 모니터링 하는 기법은 통신속도와 S/W, H/W에 따라 각각여러가지 방법이 있으며 최대채널의 제한, 가격적인 부분까지 많은 부분을 고려해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 기존수행하고 있는 모니터링 기술을 분석하여 신재생에너지 시스템에 적합한 다중채널 모니터링 기법을 제안하고자한다.

  • The reinforced roadbed should have the ability to spread out the load intensity lower than the bearing capacity of the subgrade of track structure as well as to prevent the softening of roadbed by providing appropriate stiffness in the roadbed, thus fully supports the track structures. Full scale reinforced roadbeds with several different types of monotoring sensors was also constructed to evaluate the performance of each reinforced roadbed through the continuous monitoring while the train operation. In this study, Field tests such as PLT, SASW were also carried out at each reinforced roadbed. The results of the field and lab tests, installation and calibration of sensors, as well as construction condition of the reinforced roadbed are presented.

  • The compressor is one of important elements in refrigeration cycle and play an important role of refrigeration efficiency and quality. This paper analyzes slides in rotary compressors for room air conditioners, monitoring using Acoustic Emission(AE) technique. Reliability of rotary compressors which are factory-tested has been evaluated through visual inspection on taking them apart after long term test, which is life test. This paper describes methods for acquisition and processing of Acoustic Emission(AE) raw signal to monitor state of rotary compressor in Life Test.

Monotoring Secheme of Laser Welding Interior Defects Using Neural Network (신경회로망을 이용한 레이저 용접 내부결함 모니터링 방법)

  • This paper introduces the monitoring scheme of laser welding quality using neural network. The developed monitoring scheme detects light signal emitting from plasma formed above the weld pool with optic sensor and DSP-based signal processor, and analyzes to give a guidance about the weld quality. It can automatically detect defects of laser weld and further give an information about what kind of defects it is, specially partial penetration and porosity among the interior defects. Those could be detected only by naked eyes or X-ray after welding, which needs more processes and costs in mass production. The monitoring scheme extracts four feature vectors from signal processing results of optical measuring data. In order to classify pattern for extracted feature vectors and to decide defects, it uses single-layer neural network with perceptron learning. The monitoring result using only the first feature vector shows confidence rate in recognition of 90%($\pm$5) and decides whether normal status or defects status in real time.

  • This study proposes a new approach to implement smart factory based on robot monitoring system for a small and medium sized enterprise. The simulator includes the forward kinematics and inverse kinematics analyzes of articulated robots. We also modeled the dynamics of the robot and made it possible to simulate it in the program. We studied the interface between the user and the monitoring programming system using the GUI environment of Windows OS, and it is configured to select the appropriate trajectory planning and control method. The reliability of simulator is illustrated by simulation test.

  • Yhis paper describes a fault diagnosis simulation of the Real-Time Multiple Fault Dignosis System (RTMFDS) for forcasting faults in a system and deciding current machine state from signal information. Comparing with other diagnosis system for single fault,the system developed deals with multiple fault diagnosis,comprising two main parts. One is a remotesignal generating and transimission terminal and the other is a host system for fault diagnosis. Signal generator generate the random fault signal and the image information, and send this information to host. Host consists of various modules and agents such as Signal Processing Module(SPM) for sinal preprocessing, Performence Monotoring Module(PMM) for subsystem performance monitoring, Trigger Module(TM) for multi-triggering subsystem fault diagnosis, Subsystem Fault Diagnosis Agent(SFDA) for receiving trigger signal, formulating subsystem fault D\ulcornerB and initiating diagnosis, Fault Diagnosis Module(FDM) for simulating component fault with Hierarchical Artificial Neural Network (HANN), numerical models and Hofield network,Result Agent(RA) for receiving simulation result and sending to Treatment solver and Graphic Agent(GA). Each agent represents a separate process in UNIX operating system, information exchange and cooperation between agents was doen by IPC(Inter Process Communication : message queue, semaphore, signal, pipe). Numerical models are used to deseribe structure, function and behavior of total system, subsystems and their components. Hierarchical data structure for diagnosing the fault system is implemented by HANN. Signal generation and transmittion was performed on PC. As a host, SUN workstation with X-Windows(Motif)is used for graphic representation.

Clinical Significance of Bifrontotemporal Decompressive Craniectomy in the Treatment of Severe Refractory Posttraumatic Brain Swelling (중증 외상성 뇌부종 환자에서 양측 전두-측두부 감압적 개두술의 의의)

  • Objective : The treatment of malignant posttraumatic brain swelling remains a frustrating endeavor for neurosurgeon. Mortality and morbidity rates remain high depite advances in medical treatment of increased intracranial pressure. If conventional therapy fails in patients suffering from intracranial hypertension, there is only small number of second-tier option left including decompressive craniectomy. The role of decompressive craniectomy in posttraumatic brain swelling remains controversial. We assessed the efficacy and indications of decompressive craniectomy. Methods : The authors performed decompressive bifrontotemporal craniectomy in 22 patients with malignant posttraumatic brain swelling. Epidural pressure monotoring was performed in all patients. The clnical data and surgical outcomes were reviewed retrospectively. Result : The favorable outcome(GOS score 4-5) was 59%(13 of 22 patients), whereas the mortality rate was 32% (7 of 22 patients). Two patients(9%) remained in severely disabled state. Increased rate of favorable outcome was seen in the patients who had 8 or more of GCS score at admission and exhibited B wave in ICP monitoring and who showed steady state or slow deterioration in clinical course. Conclusion : If conservative therapy fails, decompressive bifrontotemporal craniectomy should be considered in the management of malignant posttraumatic brain swelling before irreversible ischemic brain damage occur.

  • Recently, we are increasing an interest of the health care from the developing elderly society. The need for the safety standardization is the High-tech industry that the technology of Medical science based on advanced nations with the wireless communication technology. It is urgent matter the chronic disease that is growing the total costs is everyday increased. We consider the standardization of the monitoring the medical examination based on the medical science environment with wireless communication technology. In addition, we make the environment of the powerful nation based on medical / patient care technology for the supporting of the high quality service. In this paper, we focus on description of the relationship that convergence of the medical / patient care science is need the component based on wireless communication technology.

  • Electronic fetal monitoring system is an easier ar d usual method in various prenatal and labor period fetal surveilence methods currently in use. But there haven't been enough cases of using the central monitoring system despite the fact that the bedside fetal monitoring system have already been widely in use in Korea as an essential medical equipment item. We have developed more efficient central fetal monitoring system based on the personal computer with the visual maternal monotoring device using infrared camera which processes the signals from existing bedside fetal monitoring systems such as H/P's 8040 series. And we have performed the clinical application on 41 pregnant women and the results were satisfactory. In conclusion, more efficient and familial fetal monitoring is possible with our PC based central fetal monitoring system which provides the medical personnel with the view of a selected pregnant woman on the same screen where the electronic waveforms and data are displayed.
