  • Transformation of molecular film occurs only usually in air-water interface, 2 dimensions domain's growth and crash are achieved. Organic matter thin film that accumulate molecular film in archaism board only that consist of growth of domain can understand correct special quality of accumulation film supplying information about fine structure and properties of matter of device observing information and so on that is surface forward player and optic enemy using AFM one of SPM application by nano electronics. The stable images are probably due to a strong interaction between the monolayer film and glass substrate. We are unable to obtain molecule resolution in images of the films but did see a marked contrast between images of the bare substrate and those with the network structure film deposited onto it. Formation that prevent when gas phase state and liquid phase state measure but Could know organic matter that molecules form equal and stable film when molecules were not distributed evenly. and accumulated in solid state only.

  • Electrical characteristics of the Si-O superlattice diode as a function of annealing conditions have been studied. The nanocrystalline silicon/adsorbed oxygen superlattice formed by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) system. Consequently, the experimental results of superlattice diode with multilayer Si-O structure showed the stable and good insulating behavior with high breakdown voltage. This is very useful promise for Si-based optoelectronic and quantum device as well as for the replacement of silicon-on-insulator (SOI) in ultra high speed and lower power CMOS devices in the future, and it can be readily integrated with silicon ULSI processing.

Soft X-ray Nano-spectroscopy for Electronic Structures of Transition Metal Oxide Nano-structures

  • In order to develop nano-devices with much lower power consumption for beyond-CMOS applications, the fundamental understanding and precise control of the electronic properties of ultrathin transition metal oxide (TMO) films are strongly required. The metal-insulator transition (MIT) is not only an important issue in solid state physics, but also a useful phenomenon for device applications like switching or memory devices. For potential use in such application, the electronic structures of MIT, observed for TMO nano-structures, have been investigated using a synchrotron radiation angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy system combined with a laser molecular beam epitaxy chamber and a scanning photoelectron microscopy system with 70 nm spatial resolution. In this review article, electronic structures revealed by soft X-ray nano-spectroscopy are presented for i) polarity-dependent MIT and thickness-dependent MIT of TMO ultrathin films of $LaAlO_3/SrTiO_3$ and $SrVO_3/SrTiO_3$, respectively, and ii) electric field-induced MIT of TMO nano-structures showing resistance switching behaviors due to interfacial redox reactions and/or filamentary path formation. These electronic structures have been successfully correlated with the electrical properties of nano-structured films and nano-devices.

Effects of the Deposition Rate of Pentacene Film on the Electrical Characteristics of Organic Thin-film Transistors

  • Organic thin-film transistors were fabricated using pentacene as an active electronic material. Device characteristics are improved with increasing the deposition rate of pentacene. It is observed that the deposition rate influences on the interface properties between pentacene and polystyrene, and the molecular ordering of pentacene film. In this paper, we report the effects of the deposition rate of pentacene film on the device performance.

  • We investigate characteristics of J-aggregation as take advantage of LB technic. In order to confirm the applications possible for the molecular electronic device, the morphological properties of merocyanine dye were investigated by AFM. $\pi$-A curves investigated the surface pressure of the LB film from a liquid to a solid state ranged between 90 and 100 mN/m. We observed aggregation and it's characteristics by using visible reflection spectroscopy. We have observed morphology of merocyanine dye on gold surface by STM. focuses on results obtained in mercocyanide dye of J-aggregation. When LB films of merocyanine dye are mixed with arachidic acid, J-aggregate formation is exhibited. J-aggregate formation has been serving as typical systems in revealing the physical and structural aspects of nano-sized molecular aggregates constructed as muiltilayers.

Fabrication of Organic-Inorganic Nanohybrid Semiconductors for Flexible Electronic Device

  • We report a high-performance and air-stable flexible and invisible semiconductor which can be substitute for the n-type organic semiconductors. N-type organic-inorganic nanohybrid superlattices were developed for active semiconducting channel layers of thin film transistors at low temperature of $150^{\circ}C$ by using molecular layer deposition with atomic layer deposition. In these nanohybrid superlattices, self-assembled organic layers (SAOLs) offer structural flexibility, whereas ZnO inorganic layers provide the potential for semiconducting properties, and thermal and mechanical stability. The prepared SAOLs-ZnO nanohybrid thin films exhibited good flexibility, transparent in the visible range, and excellent field effect mobility (> 7cm2/$V{\cdot}s$) under low voltage operation (from -1 to 3V). The nanohybrid semiconductor is also compatible with pentacene in p-n junction diodes.

Optoelectronic Characteristics of Hydrogen and Oxygen Annealed Si-O Superlattice Diode

  • Optoelectronic characteristics of the superlattice diode as a function of deposition temperature and annealing conditions have been studied. The multilayer nanocrystalline silicon/adsorbed oxygen (nc/Si/O) superlattice formed by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) system. Experimental results showed that deposition temperature of 550$^{\circ}C$, followed by hydrogen annealing leads to best results, in terms of optical photoluminescence (PL) and electrical current-voltage (I-V) characteristics. Consequently, the experimental results of multilayer Si/O superlattic device showed the stable photoluminescence and good insulating behavior with high breakdown voltage. This is very useful promise for Si-based optoelectronic devices, and can be readily integrated with conventional silicon ULSI processing.

  • Half-metallic nanostructure is highly applicable in the field of Spintronics and electronic device technology. We examine the electronic properties of a ferrocene-based nanowire as a possible candidate for a half-metallic nanostructure using VASP and SIESTA. Ferrocene-based nanowire shows high stability in both binding energy simulation and molecular dynamics (MD) simulation. The density of states (DOS) and the projected DOS of the ferrocene-based nanowire indicate that one-dimensional clustering of ferrocene molecules can be explained because of p-d orbital hybridization between iron and carbon. Half-metallic property and energy dispersion at the Fermi level due to one-dimensional structure is also observed from the DOS results.

  • Since P-ELD(powders type electroluminescent device) phenomena were found by G.Destriau at first In 1936, lots of studying was performed in order to realize surface emission devices and flat panel display as a backlight. Due to the problem of low luminance and color and so on, it was delayed. Recently using electric field and thermal effect which can change it\`s molecular arrangement, it can be developed using photoelectric properties of P-ELD. P-ELD in this study was prepared by casting method. Basic structure is ITO/Phosphor/insulator/Al sheet, each layer was mixed by binder, which concentration 11p(poise) for phosphor, 8p(poise) fort insulator. Dielectric properties was investigated first and emission properties of P-ELD based on ZnS:Mn,Cu/ZnS:Cu,Br mixture. P-ELD prepared in this work exhibits about 100cd/㎡ 1-kHz simusoidal excitation.
