The grinding process has been mainly used fur finishing metal products as final machining stage. But chatter vibration and bum of a workpiece have a bad effect on the machined surface and should be detected in modern grinding process. This paper deals with a fault detection of the cylindrical plunge grinding process by power parameters. During the grinding process the power signals of an induced motor were sampled and used to determine the relationship between fault and change of power parameters. A neural network was used far detecting the grinding fault and an influence of power parameters to the grinding fault was analyzed.

Renaissance Age is called the Period of Discovery because of great development of the economy and the science, and is known the Period of scientific analysis of Man and of interest of Nature out of a blind obedience in the Middle ages. Especially in visual art architecture, painting and sculpture, the rational spirit of Renaissance actually and distinctly communicates the meaning of Work through the scientific and mathematical expression after a finding Perspective by Brunelleschi. So the puropse of this study is to clarify the substancial meaning of Renaissance Art by investigating the expression applied Perspective to the works of Brunelleschi's architecture, Donatello's sculpture and Masaccio's painting.

The purpose of this paper was to analyze the meanings and issues which had been expressed through the domestic fashion magazine from 1998 to 2002. The natural intension issue was caused by rapid development of modern civilization and it kneaded with poison of ecosystem destruction. It was expressed by pure and clean fashion image, simple appearance and natural color. The reconciliation issue between the east and west country, man and woman and science and art which are opposed together of the trade by mixture of fashion was expressed became the paternity. It pursued a tradition and the past, which pursue new things and the specific charters with spouted, and intension is expressed. The issues of over all fashion purses human being's happiness for which fashion design have existed and changed.

Distributed Group Decision Support System (GDSS) is in the stage between exploration and implementation, there is not unified constructing model. As computer software and hardware, network technique develop, especially the development of object-oriented programming, distributed process, and artificial intelligence, this makes it possible the practical and valid implementation of distributed GDSS. With a view of emphasizing and solving process-supporting, this article discusses how to use the key technologies of network, distributed process, artificial intelligence and man-machine mutual interface, to implement more adaptable, more flexible, and more valid GDSS than before.

In 1613 the official-scholar LI Zhi-zao (李之藻) of the Ming Dynasty, in collaboration with the Italian Jesuit Matteo RICCI (利瑪竇), compiled the treatise Tongwen Suanzhi (同文算指). This is the first book which transmitted into China in a systematic and comprehensive way the art of written calculation that had been in common practice in Europe since the sixteenth century. This paper tries to see what pedagogical lessons can be gleaned from the book, in particular on the basic operations in arithmetic and related applications in various types of problems which form the content of modern day mathematics in elementary school education.

Pituitary apoplexy resulting from hemorrhage or necrosis of a pituitary tumor with subsequent compression of the optic nerves and cavernous sinuses is a life-threatening condition. The diagnosis is made clinically by the sudden onset of headache, meningismus, visual impairment, and ocular abnormalities, Modern surgical techniques seem to have reduced morbidity. Nevertheless, it is evident that not every patient requires surgical decompression after pituitary apoplexy because of spontaneous resolution after hormonal replacement therapy. We report an 84-year-old man who had pituitary apoplexy presenting with headache, ptosis and eyelid swelling. A good result has been achieved with immediate replacement of steroid.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the meaning of housework for home education. The methodology applied in this study bases on reinterpretation of references concerned with 'housework' and 'education'. The meaning of housework for home education can be analyzed in three aspects, that is, individual, domestic, and social aspect. Houseworkers be capable of developing their physical, emotional, cognitive, and social ability through houseworks. What is more, they are to internalize the culture of home and society. The meaning of housework for home education, however, has gradually been forgotten in people's mind with the appearance of rationalism of modern society. The particular process of modernization in our country has uncovered the negative aspect of housework and continually emphased that point. Thus now people consider housework as only something troublesome. The conclusion of this study is that, for the purpose of our 'noble life as man', we should recover and emphasize the importance of the meaning of housework for home education. Mental workload has a improtant place in modern work environment such as human-computer interaction. Designing man-machine system requires knowledge and evaluation of the human cognitive process which controls information flow during our works. Many studies estimate reaction time as a index of menatal workload. This paper investigates what reflacts the workload of human information handling when the informations grow its degree. Experiment result introuce the memory time that explain the information-load more sensitive than react time. And react time shows learning effect but memory time does'nt show that effect So it can be concluded that cognitive learning or work schema needs more time to achieve dexterity than motor skill.

In these days, hazards in laboratories are consistently increasing due to high technological advance in modern science. Efforts to prevent accidents in laboratories became law named [ACT ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SAFE LABORATORY ENVIRONMENT]. The law made laboratories more safely but it's not enough to keep up laboratory safety in advanced countries. To improve laboratory safety, this study reformed laboratory emergency response flow chart based on each emergency scenarios and its evaluated hazards in laboratories applied wireless hazard detecting equipments.

The method of electrical discharge machining (EDM), one of the processing methods based on non-traditional manufacturing procedures, is gaining increased popularity, since it does not require cutting tools and allows machining involving hard, brittle, thin and complex geometry. Modern ED machinery is capable of machining geometrically complex or hard material components, that are precise and difficult-to-machine such as heat treated tool steels, composites, super alloys, ceramics, etc. This paper reports the results of an experimental investigation by Taguchi method carried out to study the effects of machining parameters on material surface roughness in electric discharge machining of SM45C. The work material was ED machined with graphite and copper electrodes by varying the pulsed current, voltage and pulse time. Investigations indicate that the surface roughness is strongly depend on pulsed current.
